We ate very well, we always come back very willingly, very kind staff.

It's been a month since the monster wedding and we couldn't have chosen better. All beautiful, great organization, impeccable staff.

We could not have chosen a better location for our wedding day. Dream place with attention to detail, very courteous staff and up to the place, also excellent cuisine, many compliments to the chef! All our guests were impressed and all complimented!
A special thanks to Stefania for her kindness, foresight and availability, and a special thanks also to the Nice and very professional Maitre Salvatore!
We will definitely come back to eat in their beautiful tavern ❤️❤️🔝

The wedding we had been dreaming of for more than a year and a half because, like other couples, due to the pandemic we had postponed it. It was all the way we wanted, even more! Thanks to the availability and professionalism of all the staff, first of all Stefania and Ivano who have complied with all our requests. Friends and relatives had fun and appreciated the location (a medieval village surrounded by greenery), the quality chosen menu and the animation of the children (there were many starting from ours) and musical of the great Marco, all recommended by the structure. Too bad you just missed the cake topper … it would have been a nice memory. Thank you again for making us live our dream… at the Castrum it is possible!

Great professionalism of the staff, excellent competence of the Manager such as that of Stefy Montani, for the Wedding of my Daughter Martina we ate excellently! … an unforgettable evening… Professionalism and competence, great guys! On the occasion of these Covid Christmas holidays we chose this structure where we found great courtesy, attention to hygiene / safety and a lot of charm in its various facets … not to mention the pampering from breakfast to dinner, to the baby food… thanks to all the staff! we hope to return soon to review everything to full potential!

We stayed here on Valentine's Day and again, like the previous one, we were beautifully. A lovely location where you can breathe an atmosphere of old times and you can enjoy great food. Highly recommended.

Spent a night in this fantastic couple, where we would have liked to stay much longer. Beautiful room with hot tub, dinner in the room at the top. Breakfast is also good. The attentive, helpful and very friendly staff, especially Andrea from the reception to whom our special, helpful and very kind thank you goes. We'll be back soon!

Staff was lovely and incredibly helpful. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Restaurant manager, Salvatore was utterly delightful. Ivano, the hotel duty manger would rush to help us with anything. Highly recommend this place. So picturesque with top service to boot.

This is part of the Hotel Relais Castrum Boccea located on Via Boccea a short walk from Rome, where various events are organized! There are many reasons to recommend this ice cream parlour: the first is ice cream: quality, fresh ingredients, variety and originality; the second motivation concerns the other products: semi-cold cakes, mini-frozen, smoothies, crepes and much more always of excellent quality (not to mention the aesthetic appearance). The third but not least concerns the owners: they are two professionals with smiles and great availability. Highly recommended!

This is a freaking castle with medieval armour in the hallways, a lion fountain, cannons, a statue of a cavalry soldier, a Roman plaque in the room, stone floors and a pond! This is probably the most amazing hotel I've ever been to. Even the balcony feels like a watch tower! The receptionist was very welcoming and super professional. We arrived at night and he was so proud of the hotel that he even showed use the banquet room, which looks like a proper medieval royalty dinner room. Unfortunately the hygiene is also medieval with hairs from prevoius guests in the bathroom, dirty shower booth with stains on the floor (because the water doesn't drain) from previous guest's feet, yellow thick stains in the toilet, insulation visible between the ceiling and the walls and even a fair ammount if spider web in the ceiling. Also some metal stuck in the electrical outlet. Thick dust in hard to reach places and overall nasty hygiene. You guys should really improve the hygiene, this amazingly beautiful place is worth it and so is your professional and proud reception staff, don't let them down with such an important aspect for a hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful countryside setting. Staff were wonderful and very attentive throughout our stay? Amere, Roberta and our shuttle bus driver were very accommodating and catered to our every need. Rooms were in keeping with a medievel castle but also clean and very tasteful. Food in the restaurant was exceptional as were the staff. We had a delightful time at this hotel and will almost certainly be returning in the future. Highly recommended.

It's the place I chose for my next birthday. And a very nice and quaint place. I've been there twice already and I've always found a lot of people. It's a big party place. Weddings, communions and events of all kinds.

We organized together with the manager Ms Olga an event for the 18 years of my daughter at the Gazebo Belvedere del Relais castrum Boccea and I must say that everything was perfect especially for the attention that has been demonstrated, for the professionalism of Waiters, for the quality of the buffet that the sympathy of the DJs.
The location then is beautiful, very well taken care of and suggestive.
I congratulate my wife and a special thanks to Mrs Olga for organizing this wonderful event with absolute professionalism.

I attended a communion lunch held these days.
The beauty of the place is indisputable: an infinity of rooms and glimpses of the green cured and livable, with structures suitable to welcome many guests without giving the feeling of being in many.
However the organization has left to be desired: Want for the number of festivities in place, you want for the possible disorganization of the organizers, the parents who hosted us at lunch had to do by mastiffs on every point of the agreements taken in the Contract.
The place of the aperitif, when the sweets would have been served… A mystery to be discovered when in fact it was all decided!
There was a missing person in the room, a coordinator who knew what had been agreed and was mediator between the needs of the room and the defaults or slowness of the structure.
We hope you get the best service because the place deserves it.

When eight days at the Hotel Relais Castrum Boccea & it was AWESOME! It’s tucked away in the countryside and full of so much relaxing charm you might not even want to venture into Rome’s city center. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate ever need and answer every question. Their restaurant was some of the best food we had while in Italy — if you stay at the hotel make sure you enjoy their breakfast and dinner — if not make the trip! Will definitely be staying here again!

3.5 *** The Hotel is beautiful and just what we imagined, The people on the front desk can not do enough for you. The shuttle bus is a great idea and we used it every day, again the driver was friendly enough. Our bad experience was the Pizzeria absolutely dreadful, was treated 2nd class and the service was like a hidden camera show, chef wipe his nose and hands with the same tissue before happily slapping away pizza dough. Waitress only took my partners order and we had to call her back to take mine. Felt very much anti English as the italian customers were treated much better, offered bread with oils and vinegar we were just given an English menu that had been printed on a4 paper with notes written on. Such a shame, As the Hotel is very difficult to get to using public transport, it would be an idea to have something like a spa for guests to use. I feel a bit harsh on the two or three members that did try to make our stay welcoming.

Restaurant with excellent choice of wines, dishes with high-sounding names, good food with flavors that do not remain in memory, delight the palate as much as the place that recalls the image of a typical medieval Borghetto.

Spectacular, the best of Rome, farm in full Lazio, good kitchen, staff of 10. Shuttle service hotel to the metro (station Battistini) and round 5€/day. The driver (Angela) WONDERFUL. Don't forget, if you go to Rome, cheaper price than in the city and do not you imagine that is, after a day of walking through Rome, you pick up Angela with the "vaneta" at 19.00 h you and bring you to the peace of the Castrum, and dine in full roman countryside with two Lakes and free-roaming horses, if I could put 20 stars.

Very quaint place. The room was very clean However, there are subjectively serious flaws: bored sheets, absence of additional blankets and especially the presence of a large patch of damp, partially hidden behind the closet.

Sono stato qui per un compleanno. Location fantastica! Per come è strutturato sembra una piccolissima città con tante zone dove ci sono le varie sale per gli eventi, il tutto immerso in dei giardini con gazebi e tavoli per poter trascorrere la giornata all'aperto. Abbiamo passato la seconda parte della serata al piano inferiore in una piccola "grotta" riadattata a discoteca e a zona ristoro. C'erano tavolini al chiuso e posti all'aperto. Non posso dare opinioni riguardo all'hotel ma secondo me vale la pena provarlo. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ovviamente ci sono anche ampi parcheggi per l'auto.

I stayed here one night in May and what an experience! So peaceful place where birds were singing. Good breakfast, nice room and helpful stuff. Hotel area is wonderful. I highly recommend!

First time in Italy, amazing hotel, very beautiful but just out of the way.

The property is gorgeous and located about 20 minutes from downtown Rome. Very friendly staff and the food is very good. Upon checking in, they provided a map of Rome and explained that the shuttle would take us downtown at 8am and return at 7pm. This seemed like a long stretch of time, but it was actually perfect amount of time for my husband and I to see most everything we wanted to see that day. The shuttle was 5 euro per person and runs daily. We were dropped off at the train station where you could buy tickets for 7 euro per person, which allows you to ride the train for 24 hours. The shuttle seats 7-8 people, so you do have to make reservations as it runs once a day. The hotel has several restaurants on-site. We did drive down to their Pizzaria and the staff was incredibly friendly and patient with us as they did not speak English. Google Translate was helpful! They even gave us a free appetizer. The restaurant closest to the office offered indoor and outdoor seating. We went to this restaurant almost everyday. It had a wine cellar and the manager spoke English. He was very helpful. The service is not super fast, but nothing really is in Rome. We enjoyed taking our time drinking wine and enjoying the gorgeous view. All the restaurants will charge your meals to your room and can be paid at check-out. They had several activities on-site such as fishing, pool, karaoke bar, paint ball, and more.

A magical place! Surrounded by greenery just outside Rome a 4 star hotel with a tavern carved in stone. The location is perfect for the ceremonies. I was there for a couple dinner and it was great. You can eat outside under the gazebo in an immense peace. The interior is also very nice and quaint. Very good food, accurate and plentiful. Excellent service, really. To go back, even to spend a night. Great for families too.

With friends we were at the Taverna for dinner. Very nice Location. It lends itself very well to ceremonies. As for dinner I would call it normal. Nothing struck me. Therefore neutral judgement.

I was here thanks to a reservation via the fork! Had a great meal. Delicious appetizers and even sweets. I also recommend the moons as the first dish. The service was good and the location is really very very pretty. They also have a cave with wines and a reserved space for couple dinners by candlelight.

Scenic view, great rooms. Staff was very nice. The last day while we were having the same breakfast for the sixth time they stole 100€ from my wallet which I left in my room. Doors are locked by chip cards and of course noone had entered while we were in the restaurant. There are traditional locks installed as well. Anyway take care of your belongings during you stay. Employees should get more salary…

I was there yesterday at a wedding, beautiful atmosphere and attention to detail. Staff helpful and polite. A full immersion in the Green relaxation assured.

We had the pleasure to spend our 20th wedding anniversary there 5 days just before Christmas. Maybe we will see it through tinted glasses, but we were very happy.
The staff was very courteous and helpful. The style of the establishment was tasteful and well liked. The concept of a small hotel with personal touch went up with us. All very neat and super clean.
The breakfast is good but not überragned by the selection in my eyes for "Italian". The service is in turn good and fast.
The transport links to the city is fast Metro and to the bus stop is 5 minutes. We don't like took the bus. Since it runs out only 1 minute, but he is frequently full and needs something more.
Both are within 10-15 minutes in the Centre.
If we ever come to Rome this hotel would be the first choice.

I made peace with Rome and his hotel, always so impersonal and unfriendly (I have visited to work over a dozen).
In this hotel you are processed by people and not by numbers, and every need is dealth with courtesy.
Located in a quiet and central part of the city, is an excellent starting point to enjoy the city, not an easy thing to Rome.
Plus the prices are great.
