Villa Dacla

What can I say, it was a wonderful week on a wonderful island.
But what made me fall in love with these places is also the friendliness, kindness and hospitality of the islanders.
Starting with Cinzia, who welcomed us to Villa Dacla and advised and looked after us from the first to the last day. A complete service from the first to the last day.
The apartment is welcoming, equipped with all basic comforts and located a few steps from Cala Guitgia.
Do I recommend it? Of course and I really hope to be able to return soon.

We were on holiday this summer in the only loft available. Throughout the island.
Residence, which is not a residence.
An apartment without any comforts, distant washing machine, three lines to hang out the laundry. Without sheets and tablecloths, for the changes of these you had to pay a €30 supplement.
Disorganized, they had some Booking information: which we paid for, in the package 1) they were supposed to pick us up with the shuttle at the port 2) scooter rental 3) internet in the room, but they weren't interested. Non-existent internet, cell phone line, you can forget about it… unkept place, obsolete from the end of the 70s in a state of abandonment as you can see from the photos, insects everywhere, a real anthill. After all these inconveniences, not to mention the price I paid for a one-person loft 🌟 for 5' 🌟 absolutely forbidden to look out, risk of ceiling falling. Very snobbish, arrogant and uncaring staff. A real rip-off, I absolutely don't recommend it, non-drinkable water, there was no sign or warning, we poisoned ourselves with the herbal tea, seven days €1400 they presented us with a list to pay of an additional €430 in taxes cleaning and entry and exit and difference on the stay. A nightmare.
I recommend the island of Lampedusa but the loft villa dacla not!

We returned yesterday from this wonderful island. A paradise for sea and nature lovers. The structure is welcoming. As soon as we arrived Cinzia made us feel at home and gave us some excellent advice on how to get around and where to eat the real local specialities… one for all: spaghetti with bottarga!
We will definitely be back.

We stayed in this beautiful holiday home for a week to get to know this wonderful island which, as CInzia will suggest, will create addiction. The Villa is perfect, designed specifically to make us spend our holidays in convenience and comfort. What makes it special is the care and passion that the owners and Cinzia put into managing it, making the guest feel at home.
Cinzia welcomed us upon our arrival and not only that, every day her presence made us feel safe in some way, from advice on the island to chatter between women. This type of hospitality should be an example to many starred hotels.
The location is excellent, a few steps from the most beautiful beach in Lampedusa (Guitgia).
We will certainly return to the island because we left a piece of our heart there, and without a doubt Villa Dacla will still be our point of reference.

Comfortable structure, slightly out of the chaos of the centre. A few meters from Guitgia beach and also very close to the splendid Cala Croce and Cala Madonna beaches. Simple apartment with all the comforts: TV, air conditioning, shared washing machine, shared outdoor shower, large outdoor spaces, kitchen equipped with everything you need, coffee machine with free pods for the entire stay. Host Emanuele is kind and welcoming. Greater cleaning of outdoor spaces is recommended.
For the rest we found nothing to complain about.

Our stay at the Villa Dacla residence was simply perfect! Emanuele, the owner, was incredibly kind and hospitable. He welcomed us very well, making us feel at home straight away. Thanks to his advice, we discovered the best places to eat and had unforgettable experiences on the island. I highly recommend Villa Dacla to anyone who wants to have a wonderful holiday in Lampedusa!
