We had a 4 day stay and it was a wonderful time. All of the staff members was friendly and competent at any time! A big praise for them and thank you therefore! If we ever come back to Verona, we will stay in Corte San Mattia again!

Corte San Mattia is a beautiful post office, today the weather was not beautiful, otherwise the view from the patio is unique, you seem to touch the city. The food is great, with true and sincere flavors like their wines.
We come back for the occasions but it's okay with everything!

The view is really beautiful, the place cared for and very welcoming. Very kind staff, always close to the customer in every request. Good food and wines, note of merit for duck ragout noodles and red turnip ravioli stuffed with goat nuts and honey!

Came here for dinner with a group of friends. The view and the environment are top notch. All in all the food is not outstanding but the location and atmosphere are great. Small portions. Vegetarian options.

Giovanni Ederle was the second stop of our fun wine tour we had in the Valpolicella area (which we can recommend to everyone who visits that area). The restaurant is located between wine fields and provides a breath taking view over Verona. The food and hospitality was simply amazing! We had traditional meat and cheese with different types of Valpolicella wine and as a main course Risotto. Of course everything was homemade and super delicious. You could feel the passion and culture of the great Italian cuisine in that place. For all those who want real genuine experience, this is a great place to go to!

I have been here for 4 days. And its truly memorable to stay. Very relaxing with amazing view from the top that you can see the city of verona. I recommend this to everyone!

Just a Dream this Accommodation. Really all to the best Satisfaction. Good Breakfast and a very nice View from both the Room (Picture) and the Terrace. The Cars can stand in a Garage, which is very good in Summer.

Superb! "Really beautiful Place that is about 5/6km from Verona (on the hills of the city with spectacular view).
Bedrooms very clean and cozy (we slept on one of the houses with apartment of which the structure is composed) very spacious and each themed different (ours is a rustic-campagnolo theme with squares of birds and cocks of wood and metal very Characteristic).
In The apartments There is also a kitchen with some dishes such as glasses, breakfast/coffee mugs, two three pots, a grater, a coffee moka and a crêpe pan.
We got to dine at the restaurant attached to the front desk. Excellent crêpes stuffed with eggplant cream and homemade smoked ricotta.
The ricotta was present in the right quantity and married well with the stuffing of eggplant. Great Portion for a prime.
I recommend you also try the agri-burger with crispy bread and burgers with mayonnaise made by their very good. Excellent also The sweets especially the cream Catalan truly divine!
Even The wine production them is very good. We took a red Valpolicella.
More than honest Price for dinner.
The bread in the baskets is made by them. I would say great place essentially.

Friendly service, exceptional view of Verona, great wine. Restaurant is ok for dinner but the breakfasts are fantastic.

We stayed here during the Easter parties and I have to say that both the facility and the service are good. Unfortunately the menu is very limited and the kitchen did not appreciate it so much that we had to look for alternatives. The view is spectacular and covered parking is also available.

We booked the wrong day by mistake and when we showed up, they didn’t have any rooms. Even though it was totally our fault, they gave us the — non refundable — price of the room in food and wine. Something they did not have to do at all. The views of Verona were stunning. The T Bone steak was well prepared and delicious. The Valpolicella and the Prosecco was amazing. The hostess spoke perfect English. Staff was friendly and very professional. I can’t recommend this place enough. I could hang out here for a week.

Very nice and clean rooms, great area and still close to Verona. Easy to reach by bus. The food is also very good. Were there for a long weekend. Maybe not for the last time.

A nice holiday home. We were there in January 2017. The rooms were very cold, so there are only 4 stars. The food and wine were excellent.

Very nice place that enjoys a wonderful view of the wonderful city of Verona. Prices are not really cheap, but given the area and the type of premises, they can not be defined as excessive either. We were going for an aperitif, so we didn't taste the dishes in the kitchen.

A beautiful "place" on the Veronese Hills, Le Torriccelle, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the city. A beautiful farmhouse, well cared for both in the green outside and inside. We had lunch well, drank their wines which are good and as dessert the Mont Blanc, with chestnuts. Quick staff in the service at the tables, good cooks! To return!

Totally and absolutely wonderful, everything that can be said falls short. A place to disconnect from everything and even yourself. Food takes you back to childhood when things tasted like something. A 10 out of 10.

One of the best places I've stayed. Gorgeous accommodation, amazing food, friendly and warm staff. It was foggy and cold when we were here but it didn't make a difference: it felt so relaxing and comforting. The city centre is a 30 minute walk or bus ride. I'd recommend this place 1000% to anyone coming to Verona.

A superb place on the heights of Verona. We can walk down to the city, but when we get back, it goes up a bit. At 1:15 am from Venice, not far from Lake Garda and Sirmione. Wine producer There is a nice cellar, as soon as we have a few sous to spend.

Verona is beautiful, especially from the SanMattia garden. Not easy to reach without car.

This place is absolutely stunning. The wine is very good and staff is very friendly. The food was good, but I expected a little more for an agriturismo. Nevertheless, I do recommend this place.

The location of this accommodation is great, the reception was cordial and the view compensated for some, which is clearly to be criticized there. Our room was modern furnished but the mattresses were absolutely perfect and you can hear all the noise from the next room. The breakfast buffet is OK, unfortunately nothing can be expected of the dinner. It was Fürchterllich. Attention to recommendations of foreign local. We suspect that it also runs on commission, have eaten even worse than in the Corte itself.

My wife and I had a five star experience here in September 2015. Pleasant place, great food and wine from the farm and vineyard, wonderful people, Highly recommended for a unique experience near Verona.

It's on top of a hill and the City of Verona can be seen from here. It has been just a couple of hours since I got here but I am very impressed with the property. I can't wait for daylight to come. The property seems to be run by the family and so far they have made feel welcome (even the family dog sleeping outside my door).

We had a very neat, pretty room. The breakfast buffet was very good. The kitchen (for us vegetarians) was rather unimaginative. The staff were different: two were extremely friendly and helpful, as they are imagined in Italy. On the other hand, two others were very reserved, one of which I believe was even the boss. There is a star deduction. Otherwise I would have forgiven 5 stars without hesitation! In summary: Despite the Wermustropfens: absolutely recommended and inexpensive!

I attended Matthias for many years and is a wonderful place for the reception, for food, for wine and the atmosphere (you breathe: being outside of Verona but in a panoramic position overlooking the whole city to the airport. Ideal both in summer and winter for total relaxation after a day of work or sightseeing, especially when you sit on the terrace. In 5 ' you are driving on the banks of the Adige river and then, once you find parking on lung ' Adige, walk you go discover the most rich in historical downtown up to the arena.
Just a tip for those who want to spend a weekend: book early, especially in times of concurrent exhibitions and shows at the Arena. However, Matthias (the owner) can find a solution for everyone.

The site is beautiful, it has excellent views of Verona, but service is mediocre. Every day at least, ridiculous, always the same, really lousy breakfast-buffet. Poor quality wine, and they also do not have nor idea, intended to serve a wine that is in the shop at least 27 degrees all day. There is no bar "here only serves wine. ", it seems ridiculous. We were told that they would bring bread for Celiacs, false, not brought it never. It is clear that I will not return and the worst thing is that the daily menus, closed, only what has them it happens to put €20 without wine, and pasta, pasta, pasta, pasta, good chicken or rabbit. Hens pure facade, the garden pure photo, presentation, rotted in las matas.

We rented the house in the orchard ajacent to the cantina. Our stay was WONDERFUL. The family that runs the place was so accomodating they made us feel a if we were visiting family not to mention the food at the cantina was excellent! This will be the only place I stay when visiting Verona from now on.
