Good location, in quite courtyard. Several apartments with shared bathrooms, kitchen upstairs. Small beds, not very comfortable. Service once in 4 days, otherwise extra charge. Full payment on arrival, cash only!

Listed as a three star property, this guest house deserves a very shiny three stars! The property is well maintained, well located and very comfortable. But the amemtaties are limited, hence the three stars. My room was the only one with a private bath. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were spacious, clean, well lit and quiet. The bed was comfortable but quite soft. If you prefer a hard bed, this could be a problem. I was told that there was a kitchen and I could prepare my own breakfast but I never used it. The property is on the east side about half way down the island. It is easy to reach the Rialto or San Marco and a number of other tourist sites. But it is a good walk from the tail terminal or bus depot. For the price, it is a good deal.

Had blood on the bed spread, went and spoke to reception and nothing was done to replace with a clean one even though they said they'd "look into it". Aircon didn't work, was told to open a window but couldn't because of the Mosquitos as it clearly states with a sign on every window saying "do not open" because of this! Bed was uncomfortable and squeaks every time you move. Was a sleepless 4 nights. Bathroom was cleaned every morning and had free toast and cereal for breakfast each morning.

No service at all — when you finally arrive there, you can see some different address for check-in. When you don't find it and call them for help, no one answers, even the next day no one felt responsible to answer the phone. We asked the receptionist at another hotel, he called venice star — no answer either. So we had to book another accomodation outside of venice, just donated this one 80 bucks, have fun with it! as I read another rating by someone who arrived 7 minutes too late, I already was sceptical, because they compare their rooms with a plane — if you come some minutes after nine o clock, bad luck for you! if you cannot find a good hostel in venice, just go to the mainland, you will get some really nice and cheaper rooms and get to venice in a few minutes by tram.

Hello, everyone, I spent one night with my little family, really, this is not a hotel, rather a dormitory! It is clean, (but it is hard to find, the last quality of breakfast, no reception desk… etc.

The room had no air conditioner, hot during March end. Breakfast is free.

Good place to hang around venice. Nice host and safe area. Cozy rooms with free breakfast offers. I would recommend the place for the venice lovers …

The issue of paying the room leaves enough to be desired.

For This price is super, and breakfast is fed although it is not paid.

The location is decent. Near to Realto. Easy to get to from the station. We did have some problems however, water leaked into light in the bathroom and it kept cutting out the electricity. The staff are friendly and they did provide us a refund for that night. It is budget accommodation and therefore you have to accept it's limits. The beds are squeaky and the bathrooms could be cleaner.

Small, cheap and pretty clean. Can be noisy with other guests even if they try not to. During office hours you have to get the key 150m down the road for check-in. We had a nice fellow escorting us back to the room and explain stuff. Nice location and close too everything.

The place is clean and the location is very convenient if you are willing to walk a little.

Cheap and standard rooms, seemed clean. Some standard breakfast and cutlery, fridge in the shared kitchen. Helpful staff, but very strict checkout policy with hefty fines!

Honestly, it wasn't too expensive. It was adequately clean. The staff was nice. Not the fanciest of places, but if you were looking for better, you would be paying more. My only suggestion would be to add some lighting to the outdoor area. I was definitely a bit nervous walking in and out without any light or being able to see after 6PM.

Definitely budget, some places you cant tell if you're staying on a budget or not but this one goes out of its way to be obvious about it. Thats not to say its bad but expect what you pay for. The aircon is adequate but not phenomenal, the rooms and pretty much everything else is similar. Overall meh, not bad not great probably wouldnt stay again but not dissapointed this time around.
