Wow. Just wow. This place is incredible! Mind you, I’ve never stayed in a JW before. But I went in with pretty high expectations. And they met them all. Everything really is as beautiful as the pictures. We arrived around 10:30a/11a. After check-in, in only took about 15 minutes to get our room ready. We were lucky enough to get a corner room — the three windows made it feel extra spacious. I think we had one of their more basic rooms, but it was absolutely lovely. It had a huge wardrobe, a tub and shower, a toilet and bidet, two sinks, robes and slippers, chocolate on your pillow. It was great! You won’t find more than two English channels on TV, but who has time for that when you’re in Venice?!? The rooftop pool was amazing! And somehow was never too busy. And there’s always someone there to get you a towel and a drink. Cucina is the restaurant that provides a buffet at breakfast. Room service is pretty pricey — just go to the buffet and get your money worth. The family friendly pool and the gym are a little bit of a walk. Not bad, but it’s easy to get turned around when going for the first time.

Service is great, employees are more than happy to take you on a complete tour of the private island! Our room was very comfortable, beds were very clean and comfortable and rooms were serviced twice per day. The rooftop pool was the only pool I tried, but it was extremely clean and the perfect temperature. Only complaint was that it was a little bit pricey, but the hotel was more than worth the cost of staying.

The staff are very friendly, professional and polite. The hotel is clean and house keeping never skip a beat. We had a very enjoyable stay here. The food offered by the hotel (room service) is good. They have a small cafe which is cute and staffed by very friendly and welcoming staff. My only gripe would be the size of the spa, it's quite small and I can imagine that during a busier period it'd be quite annoying in terms of availability. Luckily, we went at a relatively quiet period so every time we used it we were pretty much the only people there (which made it amazing tbh). All in all, it was a great trip. I’d definitely recommend. Also, just something funny, if you do go here see if they say this "how was coming in on the boat? it's like a James Bond movie isn't it? "

This is a beautiful, quiet resort on its own island with its own boat/shuttle service that runs every half hour from close to San Marco square. Service was top notch; friendly and professional. We were upgraded to a room in a different building and it was a large room with very high ceilings and a very contemporary feel. Lovely view. Comfortable bed and pillows. There is also a great little gym if you want to work out. Breakfast buffet is wonderful, but expensive, but what one expects at a JW Marriott. Would highly recommend. The only con is the shower, which is in the tub, which slants when you stand under the water and feels quite precarious. The tub itself is wonderful for a bath. The toilet is in a separate room, which is handy when there are two of you.

Beautiful, peaceful, wonderful resort! Excellent service in the Italian tradition — warm, accommodating, professional and sincerely service oriented. Great place to "unplug" and "unwind"'. Secluded from the active Venetian mainland but with shuttle service throughout the day and evening — making Venice accessible while providing a luxurious, peaceful respite from the crowds of tourists. Absolutely beautiful grounds, wonderful food at the on-site restaurants. Breakfast is not to be missed!

Lovely hotel on a private island, offers the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Venice. The shuttle service operates once every half hour to the mainland, the first leaving at 8 30 and the last at 00 30. A slightly more frequent shuttle would be preferable. We had a beautiful room overlooking the gardens. However, the hinge for the shower head holder was broken and we had to stand on the curve of the bathtub to shower. The glass door did not have a good seal and the floor would be flooded after a shower. Staff were very friendly and attentive and always on hand to help. Overall a wonderful choice for our trip.

Excellent hotel to get away from Venice. It has constant service Hotel Venice. To enjoy the day and then La Paz at the Hotel.

Didn't stay but went for lunch on the rooftop bar area. Absolutely stunning views of St Marks squares roof tops in the distance, friendly and helpful staff all on its own island in the middle of the Adriactic sea. Beautiful x.

Isolated island near Venice hosts a modern hotel with a phenomenal spa, rooftop and island pools, and some fantastic suites. Shuttles to and from the main part of Venice get you there and back without much fuss, and service levels are high (as are prices, plan on almost €200 for a fully featured dinner for two). Excellent experience overall.

Luxurious place is located on the island. From the island to San Marco runs a boat Shuttle every half hour. Very very beautiful and romantic.

I've only just arrived but I already wish I didn't have to leave! The dock for private water taxis is some of the coolest design I've seen. If I had to guess I'd say that whatever was on the property before had a private entrance or possibly a delivery dock and they converted it, and now it looks like something out of a movie. There are several options for food on site and a water taxi every half hour that goes to St. Mark's Square. The rooms are spacious and the property is nice and quiet. The staff are efficient, friendly, and courteous. I've stayed at a JW before and had an excellent time and this stay looks like it will be even better!

From the moment we arrived with a private taxi in the James Bond entrance. I felt amazing in this hotel and every member of staff was polite and wonderful to us. There were 7 of us and the kids also loved it. We had a junior suite and a normal twin. Both rooms were perfect. One girl Ilinca from Moldova made all of us feel like royalty! After the unfriendly Gondola and taxi drivers in Venice. The friendliness in this hotel is exceptional. There is a good kids menu and we had dinner both on the roof and downstairs. The chef Mr. Milan came to say hello and the Rose Burger was delicious. I loved every minute!

The whole place it's just amazing! So so happy! The bikes to ride around the island are the best thing to relax and get to know the whole place, the pool is excellent and the food is just the best! I really enjoy the rides on boat to go in and out the island as well. And the rooftop is gorgeous, the whole view to San Marco! The people is really nice there too, and the service is perfect. Best resort EVER.

My wife and I are Platinum Marriott members, staying at a variety of Marriott hotels consistently. While I understand this hotel is new, the service at the property and condition of the room were completely unacceptable. The air conditioning did not work, and the staff did not respond appropriately to multiple requests for help. The front desk actually laughed at our request for a new room. They ended up bringing in a mobile A/C unit at 1:30am which was extremely inconvenient. A more minor complaint is the condition of the walls and doors in the hotel — there are many scuffs which makes the property look bad. So far, we have been very disappointed by this experience.

I loved it! That peace you feel! This is 15 min from san marco square but it is not bothersome because boats always and these in an island far away a little bit of everything to relax! My hab beautiful with my private pool! I recommend it 100%

New construction, so no sewer or mold smells. Just opened on March 19th 2015. Beautiful hotel, very peaceful private island excape from the city. Heated pool, working fast but NOT included Wi-Fi. I think they bought the whole island. Very nice included breakfast ending at 10:30 and 11:00 on weekends, if you can get out of bed on time. Boat taxi leaves to St. Marc square about every 20 minutes. Kid friendly. We all had a wonderful time here from Santa Monica, CA.

This is such a beautiful place. The attention to detail from the entire staff is amazing. They provide a shuttle to the plaza and back. Which makes it great. Food is delicious. Breathtaking views of the lagoon and main island Venice. Luca our server at The Rose Bar was outstanding. The breakfast at Cucina restaurant is fantastic. Luca is a great guy and is attentive to every detail. I know you will enjoy your stay. I know I did.

Beautiful property, building, room, views. Hallway smiled like a zoo, ac didn't work but I would stay again.

The best new resort in private island. You will love the real relax in this property. Give it a try. There is hourly taxi shuttle to San Marks square to enjoy the activities in Venice.

I can simply describe my experience by saying outstanding. Outstanding by all means from the moment I have entered the hotel to the moment I have said good bye to all lovely staff. I would like to say thanks to all staff members for their professionalism and hospitality. Excellent service, facility, cleanness, food, atmosphere and all the meanings of hospitality.
