Very friendly owners and very nice room.

Nice little hotel in great little location.

Very good welcome, very well located, very quiet, random Wi-Fi negatives, no breakfast on site but eased down the street.
We regret not seeing anyone outside the reception on arrival.

We were supposed to stay here but our card declined pre auth because we had to get a replacement. We arrived to our accommodation to be told. It had been cancelled. On the upside they were helpful allowing us to use Wi-Fi and toilets while we looked for new accommodation. Along with also looking for. Us.

This is a cute quiet inexpensive hotel (B&B) The hotel is very hard to find and no one seems to know where it is. There is a small brass sign next to a large wooden door (looks like someones house. ) You have to press a call button to be let in; down the hallway and up the really old stone stairs. The canal view out one of the verandas was well worth the stay (very romantic. ) Breakfast was fairly small but there is a bakery a few doors down and a grocery store about five doors down facing one of the many piazzas. Would stay here again if I go back to Venice.

Be careful when you book this place via the Internet! I booked the hotel via an internet booking site and received the confirmation and voucher. But the next day I got a phone call to tell me that the hotel was already fully booked. I had to go through lots of trouble to cancel and book a different hotel. The hotel had given away the rooms that had already been purchased by the internet travel agent. There was nothing the hotel offered me in terms of compensation for the trouble, telephone costs etc. And the phone conversation from them was not very friendly. What a terrible start to a romantic trip to Venice.
