An Amazing Hotel and Incredible Staff. Thank you for such a memorable stay. We will stay with you on our return trip to Venice.

As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was well situated and easy to walk everywhere.

Hotel very well located (near the train station and buses to easily get rid of suitcases and 2 minutes from a vaporetto station). Well soundproofed. Very friendly staff. Breakfast varied and very good quality.

Great stay at this hotel in the heart of Venice, in a quieter area. Typical Venetian decoration, with all modern comforts and well soundproofed. There is nothing missing in the room and we were even treated to some small attentions when we arrived. 😊The staff is very attentive, especially during the breakfast which is also very rich and delicious. We will be back with pleasure! 🥰🥰

Wonderful hotel located in the Santa Croce area of Venice! Not too “touristy” but right in the heart of this wonderfully fabulous and unique city! Beautifully appointed rooms and oh, they are so quiet! Bellissimo! ❤️💚

Great location. Very close to train and bus station. Rooms were clean and modern with a flare… Didn’t spend much time in the bar or restaurant, but would recommend highly.

Excellent hospitality with super location, 10 minutes easy walk from the train station so cannot be beaten if you arrive by train. It is 25 minute walk from St Marco but there are plenty of excellent bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity including Michelin Star dining. The rooms are super clean if a little small bit it is Italy and they are not famous for spacious accommodation. We had a wonderful terrace with patio furniture so we didn’t really feel cramped. The bathroom is comfortable, the bed is nice. Check in and check out excellent and fast! We both had only good impression and and no complaints about this hotel. Thank you for the wonderful weekend! Oh and the breakfast is wonderful too!

My assistant booked a suite in Papadopoli. The service was impecable ; my motorcycle taxi on arrival and within the hotel. I recommend this really cheap hotel which deserves ample 5 stars. In addition, it is located in the city center against best hôtel that are far away from the Lido.

Beautiful Hotel, Staff is very helpful.

Every corner of the room is tastefully designed. Love the bathroom especially the rainshower that comes with colored lighting and the balcony looks down into the canal. Awesome!

We had an excellent 3 night stay at this hotel. The room was small but perfectly adequate and very clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very good with a lovely range of toiletries. The duvets, pillows and towels were all excellent. The hotel is in a very good location being out of the main busy area but within easy access to all Venice has to offer. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return at some point.

Excellent hotel in a good location in Venice. You will always find your way back to this hotel. It's easy to find from the bus station. The rooms are spacious and each with their own colour themes, classic Italian themes. Bathrooms are big. Nice breakfast selection, with something for everyone. I think the wife and I will always stay at this hotel when visiting Venice.

Overall very good experience. Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Dinner at the restaurant inside was quite good. Excellent complimentary Wi-Fi. They give you complimentary water bottles every day (very useful! not many places do this). Big rooms and bathrooms with a fantastic shower. Cons: Average breakfast. Location is bit away from the main areas in Venice but close to the bus and train stations (though for some, this might be a plus because it is quieter at night). The AC in the rooms aren't great if you like it cool (kept turning off and left the room hot at night).

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location, close to the train station and far enough from the crowds but about a 15min walk to to the Rialto Bridge. Lots of restaurants and bars very close. The breakfast buffet was really good and sufficed is easily each day. The staff at the front desk to the lobby bar to the restaurant were all very friendly and personable. We loved our stay here and highly recommend considering this fine hotel.

Fantastically presented hotel, rooms are very well appointed, bed is extremely comfortable, shower is great. Check in staff were very friendly. It's very handy to the train station, a comfortable 5-7 minute walk over two bridges. Close to water bus stops. Top hotel to stay in for you Venice holiday.

Everything you need and great customer service. Definitely recommend! A less touristy part of Venice but still loads of shops and outdoor dining. We would stay again when in Venice!

We spent wonderful 3 days in Venezia and huge part of this wonderful experience was this hotel. Everything was perfect — the staff was courteous and welcoming, breakfast buffet had a large variety of high quality products and room was just beautiful. Nice hotel in good location. Near main transport and far enough from tourist hotspots for peace but still easy to walk everywhere. Very good little bars nearby and selection of eateries. Food in hotel restaurant very good but service a bit stuffy. Nice bar with small shady terrace but again service bit slow and stuffy. We had small room with lovely big bathroom. No coffee machine which is a shame.

I have never been a guest of this hotel but I very much wish to be! I will tell you then only of my impression in its regard so to speak external even if not random. I have set foot x visit the famous inner garden that serves as a dining room. The Porcinai garden: a Splendor! Proud to be Italian! Beautiful the rest, for what little I saw: elegance, style, a whole other world than what you find today in many areas of Venice. Here, this word still evokes the original sense of the wonderful that distinguishes it. I also remember a very nice staff.

This is a great hotel. We stayed for three nights. We were in room 548 which had a balcony and view of Venice and the Dolomites. This room was a beauty. The reception staff was very friendly and accommodating. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and very attentive and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is within short walking distance of the train station, public water taxi and many restaurants, gondolas, shopping and coffeehouses. It is a short 25-30 minute walk across Venice and a short water taxi or public boat to Murano. The airport is a 20 minute car taxi ride. Be sure to get a Venice view room.

Loved the location, staff, restaurant, bar, and room. It was hot in our room though without the ability to fully control the temperature. Upon contacting the front desk we were told to open a window because the a/c functions for the season were not available. With the bustling night life on the streets of Venice opening a window provided us with cool comfort but not great sleep due to the noise.

Excellent location, just a short walk from the bus or train station. A very large proportion of Venice is easily walkable from this hotel. Nice rooms, get a balcony if you can. Breakfast reasonable, bar available. Just make sure you get everything you've paid for in your original booking!

The hotel is excellent, the service is very friendly and very helpful, we got a room with a view of the canal made us feel a fabulous experience let alone the position of the hotel is very close to the taxi transportation that will take us wherever our destination. We feel like home.

Close to the train and bus station, without the downside of the noise. The staff speak very good French, the rooms are nickel, restaurant and bar at the top also. Necessarily all this at a cost.

The room is not very large but quiet, very comfortable and very clean with slippers, bathrobes, etc. The concierges are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a great choice. As for the restaurant, the chef offers excellent quality dishes.
The location is great for enjoying Venice.
Summary: Very good hotel where I will gladly return if Venice is again in my destinations.

Fabulous hotel, everything about it is perfect. Perfect position just off plaza Roma so easy access from cruise port and train station or airport. Quiet but perfect to walk to Rialto bridge 15minutes or st marks. Best bed I have every slept in like sleeping on a cloud. Excellent staff just a perfect place to stay, I can't recommend it enough and I work in travel. Thanks again and we will be back.

We stayed for 3 nights, over Christmas. Service was excellent. They suggested some places for us to walk around. The restaurant was very good. We had the special dinner menu and we were very pleased. We also sat at the bar one evening and had the tiramasu. It was wonderful. It is a bit pricey, but you get excellent service.

The location of the hotel is very convenient and easy to find once you cross the bridge. It's not too far from the Grand Canal, the bus, and train. Our room was easy to find and everything was quite pleasant. Took one star away because of the error that woke and startled us at 6:30am in the morning.

Perfection. The location was great and the room was very nice. The breakfast service is extra. And to conclude the staff is of great courtesy and very available.

Excellent hotel, great location for the train, bus and cruise terminals. The staff are very attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Whole hotel is very luxurious, restaurant has a fantastic grape vine that runs across the ceiling. Breakfast was catered for many different tastes. Step out of the hotel then you are very near the grand canal and within walking distance of the main attractions. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Venice.

Such a fantastic hotel. The rooms are exquisite and well furnished… But not the largest of rooms. All Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Would come here again in a heartbeat.

Super convenient to access from the train or bus station — literally a short walk right over the bridge. WELL APPOINTED ROOMS (although some are rather small and a bit of a challenge) WITH COMFORTABLE BEDS. Everything looks fairly new & renovated. Nice restaurant & bar area. Substantial breakfast buffet every morning. Hotel has one of the few green spaces (a pretty garden area) — on the island. Friendly staff — front desk very helpful in arranging transportation back to the airport. We were very comfortable here — a delightful stay!

Not very handicap friendly but the staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast buffet is to die for! We're staying here for the fourth time. This is a hotel you're bound to return to. I rate them four stars because of all the stairs without wheelchair ramps but five hearts because they make you feel like home.

Nice hotel. 4 stars but deluxe. Lots of compliments/surprises! Amazing restaurant for dinner. Had the best white wine ever. The waiter was friendly, caring and witty. Made our experience amazing! Most staff are nice actually. Great breakfast. Whatever that cream dessert was this morning made me finish it and want more, even though I don't have a sweet tooth. And the atmosphere in general is relaxing. Had (still having) a great time. Thanks guys x.

The hotel was renovated less than a year ago so it is still very nice and clean. It still has its "new smell" lol. It was nicely decorated with AC that works well. There was a good variety of foods at breakfast and the dinner was good too. The staff was friendly and greeted you with a smile. It didn't have a pool or a fitness center but I'm not sure how common those are in Italy because the other two places I stayed didn't have them either. So with leaving that out it was a great place to stay.

A very nice hotel, which you would expect for the price. It's in a great location right near the central train station, bus/car drop off point, and main water bus terminal. The room was very nice with an incredibly comfortable bed, nice shower, and good overall facilities. Staff were happy and friendly and helpful when needed.

Super Hotel Restaurant at the top.

What a delight this hotel was. I was a bit hesitant about staying so close to the train station and far away from St Mark's square, but none of this was a problem at all. It's a
30 mins waterbus to The Doge's Palace, and the hotel's located in a nice, quiet area (which is nice once you spend the day in St. Mark's square! ). The rooms are gorgeously Venetian, with beautiful wallpaper, fluffy and comfortable bed and pillows, modern bathroom with a huge shower and heated towel racks, and a cute little step out balcony to people watch from. The walls in the room and hallways have cute Venetian men and women prints on them, and old Venetian buffet tables, so when you stay in this hotel, it feels like you are in Venice, not just in another city hotel. Room service was lovely, front desk staff were attentive and ready to answer any questions you had on where to go, what waterbus lines to take to which attractions etc, and the breakfast spread had everything you could possibly want for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend this to my clients.

This hotel is truly beautiful a 20 minute walk from the Rialto Bridge. So we pass in improbable alleys.

We spend a weekend longt in Venice, the hotel Papadopoli sumptuous the staff is irreproachable always attentive the director is extraordinary of impeccable kindness I can not find words to say only Bravo to the whole team of Papadopoli and I would recommend this hotel Bravo and a big thank you to the whole team. Service was amazing. We had a special request before our stay and it was quickly addressed and exceeded our expectations by a long shot. Once we arrived we were greeted by the fantastic reception. Our rooms were very elegant, spacious and well-kept. The service was up to it's long lasting reputation for excellence: very helpful, very precise and incredibly kind. We needed to get to a restaurant in the center of Venice quickly since our reservation was running out so the concierge suggested (and negotiated for us) a very fun ride in a water taxi, it made our night!
Our stay was made even nicer by the live piano music that played during happy hour. A truly magnificent experience, highly recommended.

Very nice. We were on our honeymoon and everyone was very friendly and a bottle of prosecco and Strawberry's was left in our room on the first night! Room was great and location was perfect for being away from crowds and good for restaurants and quick walk to bus station for airport.

If you are arriving by bus from the airport this hotel could not be more convenient as it is only a two minute walk away! It is also very close to the vaperetto terminal. I found the hotel very comfotable and quiet — had room overlooking the gardens. For the price, I couldn't really fault the place.

Sometimes it’s the atmosphere, the quality rooms, the location, the view, or the ambiance that makes a hotel special. In this case, it was all of that plus, and more importantly, the staff. The hotel was being renovated so we did not get the view we had paid and reserved for, but Diego made up for it. He went out of his way to make us feel special, greeting us cheerfully and made us feel as if we were the hotel's best and most important guests. His attention to making our stay memorable was astounding such as choosing a superb room without my having to ask for it (since we didn't get the room with the canal view), a surprise welcome package personally signed by him and complimentary wine (which we found out that he had taken care of when we went to pay for it) and Prosecco in our room. The hotel is extravagant and so close to the bus stop (but no noise from it) on a small canal a block from the grand canal. Close to everything. As a frequent business traveler (50+ stays in hotels per year), I found Diego’s service to be the best I’ve ever had and the hotel is luxurious. M Gallery’s Papadopoli has my top review for my Italian vacation.

My husband and I spent only a couple of days here, but loved it. We had one of the best rooms in the hotel; top floor, corner with small balcony. We spent quite a bit of time just watching the sun come up and set while standing on the balcony watching, but mostly listening the the streets/canals below. We arrived back in our room for an afternoon break while staff was cleaning. Spent a little time attempting to use my quickly learned Italian as the staff spoke no English. It was fun asking for four extra "wash cloths" and actually getting them and a smile from staff. Room was very inviting, bed was comfy and the bathroom was fantastic! I'd stay here again.

Just come back from my two weeks vacation to Europe. The Papadopoli has the worst beds on this trip. I was woo-and-ahh's when I first went in to my room. Room is very, very nice, bed looks nice and lofty, and hotel also supplies wrapped bath robe and slippers. However, upon closer inspection, the springs in the mattress are so worn out that there is a permanent crater in the middle of the bed. The hotel staff refuses to switch the room when I requested. I had to sleep in a very, very uncomfortable bed for three days. Hotel maintenance is also lacking. One of the elevator was broken the entire time we were there. I have to drag my luggage down the stairs because the hotel staff are using the only working one. Now I understand why Sofitel gave up on the property. It would cost too much to maintain it.
