Lovely Hotel, very central & helpful staff.

We stayed from 27th Dec for 3 nights, Hotel is in an amazing location and breakfast was great, only small negative was the room, very dark although very clean, if we visited again we would ask for a better room, the ones on the website and advertised didn't show the room we stayed in or we would have definitely upgraded but wouldn't put us off staying again. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Could do with more staff on in the evening as waited at the hotel bar for over 10 mins and no one was in sight so we went out for drinks, overall a great hotel in this beautiful city.

Very good hotel, all the staff spoke English, right on the Grand Canal near the Rialto bridge the main crossing point of the Grand canal, only minutes to most places but you will need a map.

Besides a great location (5 mins from Rialto, 15 from San Marco), and being right on the Canal Grande, besides quality of style and beauty of the structure, besides the quality of food, what impressed me was the professionality of the staff + my wife and I were spending our honey moon in Venice and they upgraded us for free in their suite. A little something that made us honeymoon unforgettable. Would not go anywhere else but there if I went back to spend a night in Venice. Thumb up!

Reward with a view even though arriving at hotel early in the morning at 1 am! Even prettier in the morning! Great location — lovely old building but with modern interiors! Of course, excellent location too in being so close to Rialto bridge.

I’ve stayed in hotels all over our little world and what sets Hotel L’Orologio clearly above the rest is the staff! They had such great love to share with us, each request was answered until we fully understood. Such caring and compassionate men!

Sweetest people and best hotel in Venice… very chic and clean hotel.

We stayed 3 nights here in March to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The location was perfect, within steps of the Rialto Ridge and close to a vaporetto stop. Sites were all within walking distance. The hotel was excellent and staff very friendly and informative. We had a room overlooking the canal which was worth the extra cost.

This is a wonderful hotel right on the grand canal and a minutes walk away from Rialto bridge. Lovely freindly staff in a modern hotel, the rooms are equipped with a mini fridge, hairdryer and a kettle along with a pair of slippers. Breakfast is excellent with a wide selection on offer from cereals to sausages and egg. I can totally recommend this hotel to everyone. You wont be dissapointed.

Excellent Hotel — Great location (less than 5 mins walk to the Rialto) and a great hotel. The staff were excellent… friendly, knowledgeable and there wasn't anything that was too much trouble. We had a deluxe canal view room which again was great. Large window, clean room and distinct decor. It was more than enough for the two of us.

Perfect location, very nice accommodations, friendly and helpful staff. We needed a two bedroom suite and theirs was perfect.

Well designed, absolutely charming hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Room has been cleaned & re-equipped at least (! ) twice a day. Breakfast was well balanced and refreshing. Would definitely recommend!

The Hotel Interesting interior, neat artifacts (clocks and clock-making stuff, since L’Orologico means The Clock). Very dark, with very bright (blinding) highlights. For example, in the elevator, the buttons are so dark you can’t see them. In the stairwell, it is painted very dark, and has very little lighting. But the handrails are perforated metal with blindingly bright lights inside of it. The hallways are dark, but the room numbers are backlit. The entry to the room is dark brown walls and trim. The bathroom is beautiful, but it is dark red marble shower walls and floor, and red porcelain fixtures, red desk, chairs, night tables. Bright LED lights for reading lights, headboard backlight, mirror backlight in both the room and the bathroom. And everything is shiny. Too modern. Honestly glad we only have one night here. The Restaurant Not really a restaurant. Just a breakfast buffet, with a fairly minimal selection. Good, but not too many choices. The People Very nice and very helpful, both night and day, helping us find our excursion, and calling the transfer company to take us to the airport. Wonderful people.

Wonderful hotel, great rooms, excellent staff, great location, really far more than we expected for the great price we got. Our only complaint would be the room we were in had an adjoining door to the next room, and when they family in that room started getting ready to leave for what We assume was an early flight we heard everything, even the hairdryer at 4am. That however was only the first night. We highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Badal, staff very courteous and professional. Rooms a little wire. American bar a thread ran out, but with Lucio, bartender of incredible talent. Poor breakfast.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. It is brand new, only just opened for this season. Google Street view still shows a building site. Don't be fooled it's finished and staffed to a very high standard, infact the staff, without exception, are all extremely helpful and professional. All areas of the hotel are decorated to an extremely high standard; very chic and tasteful. The breakfast buffet offers a very wide choice. However, what we are both most impressed with, is the comfort of our bed, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. We can honestly say, this is the best hotel bed we have ever slept in. The situation of the hotel is only a few minute's walk from the Rialto Bridge, so very convenient for all the main attractions that Venice has to offer. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return one day. Thank you very much to all staff at L' Orologio.
