Lovely hotel, gardens, staff and spa. A great room with a gorgeous view over the lagoon. Couldn’t ask for anymore and made for a great break in Venice.

This place is definitely 5 star. Very accommodating and a nice quiet retreat. A little stuffy for my tastes but they definitely deliver on a quality guest stay. Major points for the very relaxing and attentive spa experience! (PS-dont book a salon appointment at their sister hotel unless you speak fluent italian, trust me;)

Silent garden, cozy rooms, nice restaurant, amazing spa, and the main thing — no crowds and a hotel feeling. Best escape in Venice.

Amazing hotel and great access to st mark’s via the private water shuttle that ran every 1/2 hour. Rooms were large and the atmosphere was truly spa like.

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous! The gardens were an amazing relaxing place to have a coffee, the rooms were small but beautiful as well. The bathroom was stunning, with a great bathtub. It included room service and turn down service. The staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was good. Being on a smaller island was not as convenient as being on the main island but the bonus is the food and drink on that island was better priced than elsewhere and none of the places we ate within walking distance overcharged the service fee. There's a shuttle offered by the hotel to get to the main island which runs every thirty minutes. The mild inconvenience of having the Grand Canal in between and the more famous sites is offset by the view and this luxurious location.

The place is really beautiful, but you have to be careful what room you take.

Amazing food and delightful atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are nice. The bathrooms are nicer. No pool and no spa unless you have an appointment. I think that is a mistake. The restaurant and room service options are over priced compared to local comparable dishes and their Wi-Fi was inadequate and needs to be updated. No ice anywhere. A few well planned changes could make this hotel.

Truly gorgeous place from the dramatic main entry through the breathtaking gardens.

Spent our honeymoon there had a wonderful time my wife throughly enjoyed her Spa day made ample use of the complimentary boat to San Marco. Only complaint the so called City Tourists tax which is €5 per night per person & was only informed of this fact upon departure which then left us out of pocket for the journey home rather sad to leave on that note.

Beautiful oasis across from busy Venice. So nice to visit the city and then return here on their complimentary shuttle boat. A must to stay if you visit Venice! Accommodations and food are 5 star!

Idyllic place full of charm and great location, with views of Salute and the Doge's Palace.
Staff friendly, mention special to Mandow who knew our name the next day our room and our preferences for the breakfast and the bar.
Very nice and well equiped Suite impeccable Wi — Fi even in the garden. The garden is also exceptional and so relaxing. There is even a swimming pool.

Massages and a high quality service. Bath perfumed hot tub ideal for a honeymoon couple. The SPA has a unique view on Piazza San Marco. I highly recommend. Much better than the SPA next to the bridge rivalto.

Quite nice, perhaps a bit over-rated. Initially tried to place us in a much lesser room than we booked. The breakfast offering superb, but the restaurant pricing laughably high. You can buy a pair of shoes in America for the price of a Coca-Cola.
