Really good service. Stayed here for two nights in Venice. Everyone is friendly, the breakfast is amazing. Very nice coffee machine and rooms were clean with a nice view of the laguna.

Great location, right in front of the sea. Havr your breakfast while admiring the sea, birds and tourists coming to Venice. Staff is very friendly. Luco welcomed us and was prompt to answer any of our queries. Decent breakfast. The bar beside the hotel is great.

We arrived around midnight at the hotel and the very very nice staff seeing that we were in a bad situation (the key being broken we can no longer go back to our apartment for rent) and he made us an offer. The beautiful room, spacious, beautiful bathroom overlooking the doge's palace.

I love the location and the service. The service deserves 5 stars. The room could be better: better mattress! And better air conditioner.

We visited Venice on the occasion of the celebrations of the patron saint of Venice. Ca' Formenta, a very nice little hotel in a strategically placed location halfway between St. Mark's Square and The Biennial Gardens. Well served by ferries for those who want to take the classic ride to Murano, the Giudecca or have to go to the station St. Lucia. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. Only note that does not make me put the 5 star : air conditioning that did not cool and stale powder on the cable of the hair dryer in the bathroom, otherwise we were very satisfied. Breakfast varied and abundant, the proportionate cost. I definitely recommend it.

Best 3star Hotel in Venice! Charming location near Arsenate water bus stop. Same coffee machine as at a 5 Star hotel. For the price, this is one third of the 5 Star price. Room had a wonderful water view and decor has a nod to the apartments of Napolitan. Bed is two star firm mat along with the one star device called an conditioner. Which would not meet USA expectations. Open the window for wonderful water breezes with many Miskitos. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again. It is a five-Star of those in the running for 3 stars status. The need to step up the A/C and the breakfast food to become a true four star (two easy fixes)

Cheap accommodation with breakfast. Breakfast can be satisfied for up to 3 days. In addition, the same is always provided.

Well placed 10 minutes from St Mark's Square. Typical rooms quite small but adequate and well maintained. I find just limit the tourist tax only payable in cash.

For a 3 star there is nothing to complain about. Spacious room with a view of the lagoon. Air conditioning. Room Service Mini bar, Breakfast has will with choice. A concierge has any time of the day, a private pontoon for the taxi boat but not far from the public pontoon for the shared taxi and has 2 bridges from the Arsenal stop for the Vaporetto. Everything is clean, just the décor starts to get old but the quality of the service makes it forget and the price is reasonable with regard to what is practiced elsewhere.

The almuadas two more please, otherwise nice, clean and perfect location …

Nice room (some small repairs must be done in the bathroom). Very friendly staff. The breakfast is good but could have a more variety. The location is amazing and the view superb.

This is very good, it needs more than 2 pillows per bed, the rest well.

Very nice hotel. Very good reception. Cute room, beautiful view of the island and its campanile Saint-Giovanni, typical style and a bit dated but very clean. We highly recommend it.

We loved this quaint hotel. It was about 10 minutes walk from the major tourist area but not quite in the hustle and bustle which was quite nice. A water taxi stop is also 2 minutes away from the hotel. Super convenient if you have luggage. The room was spacious enough for 2 people and all the expected amenities were available. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly and the staff was super accomodating. The breakfast was also delicious as well. I'd go back to that hotel on my return to Italy.

Really good location with good staff. Room lacked tea making but had a very well stocked mini bar. 15 minutes walk from St Marks so away from the bussle in this quieter part of town.

Modest hotel, located in a great location: close to San Zaccaria which connects by Vaporetto the city. The rooms are in style and they denote a discreet care. Clean and comfortable, it offers a decent breakfast to be a 3 star. It is the setting for the sympathy and the availability of the staff. The 24h Concierge is another point in favor of those who want to hold out longer. Recommended, good.

Very good location very good Perooooooo… the cleanliness of the rooms, had to always ask many times to clean and the pillows and mattress very hard is like sleeping in stones, for the price is not fair to sleep so bad.
I wish they would change that and they would be the best hotel.

We'd had a fantastic view of the lagoon from our very cosy room. Staff were incredably friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable. A 15 minute walk to st Marks Square crossing many canals with great views. And a very nice walk in the opposite direction. Close to the naval museum. We will stay again.

Good hotel with friendly staff.

The location looks really nice, but the room was really bad — dirty. We complained and we receptionist was rude and impolite. Although we showed him how the room was dirty he thought and lead all the complain as we wanted a better room for the same pricr. We choose a standard room but that does mean it can be dirty. Not recommended.

Venice, a short distance from the gardens and the Arsenale. The most during the Biennale. St. Mark's Square is also not far away. Nice hotel.

I've given this hotel 4 stars for it's overall setting and service, not to be confused with a 4 star multi national, more like a very nice B&B. Its a lovely little hotel in a superb position just 2 bridges down from Arsenal water taxi stop, very handy when getting in from the airport. Easy walking distance to St Marks Sq and the surrounding shops and bars. The hotel has a variety of rooms from those on the ground floor at the rear to some on the front of the hotel looking out over the water. Breakfast was a good standard continental version with Juices, Tea, Coffee and other hot drinks, along with pastries and cooked meats, a good start to the day. Free Wifi was available.

Very nice and clean. You are walking distance to the main attractions, especially St Mark's Square — but enough distance for it to be quiet and peaceful. We also had a room with a dock view!

In a good location & the room was a little small apart from that it was ok…

Just got back from our Italy vacation and so happy with our hotel choice here for Venice! Great location overlooking to water! close to the vaporetto docks and a 5 minute walk to St. Mark's square. It was crowded in Venice so it was nice to be away for the heavy crowded areas.

Nice hotel with good service and gracious location very near the Biennale area. Our room upstairs had also a semi private big roof terrace — it's for everyone but no-one else used it and our room was the only to have an access directly from the room.

Worth getting room with water views. Off main tourist drag but within easy walk of St Mark's etc. Walk off down via Garibaldi and explore the bits of Castello that Venetians live in. Close to biennale grounds and convenient for water boats and airport taxi.

We stayed here for Carnival, beautiful room, with a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. Breakfast was continental and very nice. Staff were polite and helpful. Stunning view, and brilliant stay. Thank you for a lovely break. Definitely recommend as in a perfect position for everything.

Although our room was quite small, we were amazed at what was almost a chandelier hanging down from the ceiling. Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. It's in a great location, with the most incredible views. Stood at the window in awe, watching this huge liner almost cruise past directly outside.

Hotel with view on the island of St. George, and Giudecca Bove in summer times pass the cruise ships, and you seem to touch them from how close they are.

The room was very small and the rooms were very good and the staff were very nice.

This little hotel is in a great location, right on the ocean and a 15 minute walk to St. Marks Square and very close to a water bus station. We had a nice front room with a window overlooking the street and ocean. We stayed for 4 nights. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Ricardo who always had time for our stupid questions. The breakfast was standard, small tables but friendly service. When we left the water taxi picked us up from the Hotel's private dock; very cool! If we return to Venice we will stay here again.

Currently on site, unfortunately going home too soon. Accommodation excellent and matched by the personnel. Thoroughly recommend the restaurant on the canal side of the hotel!

Only there for one night but very nice place, particularly when you consider the price. Just far enough away from crowds but within easy walking distance. Clean, comfortable, with nice breakfast. Rooms are European, i. E. Not huge but functional. Bathrooms are updated. Staff is wonderful. Thinking of returning soon to see more of Venice. This is definitely where I will stay.

There were three nights in early January 2010. Friendly staff, good service, decent Breakfast. We got a room with Windows on side channel, in the morning woke up to the waves lapping under the window :) Internet only works in the lobby, where there are tables. But all day and quite reliable.

Last week in March we together stayed 8 days in this very nice Hotel. It is a 10 minutes walk from the centre and more close to where the venetians live. Good shopping and eating outdoor at rasonable prices; especially recommended is Ristorante Giorgione and L'Ombre, both in de Via Garibaldi. The hotel is excellent managed; no complaints what so ever. Good suficient breakfast and pleasant serving by the lady who is keen that nothing is missing. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.
