The worst food I've ever had! completely disgusting! the waiter promised me that if I don't like the food I wouldn't need to pay for it, which wasn't true because they charged me for a 27 euro sea food appetizer. Hyper disappointed. That was the worst meal ever! I couldn't even finish the dish I just left there and after I had a gnocchi, which was just ok… nothing special, at least was edible.

Terrible restaurant, terrible food from the hotel that I really don’t recommend to anyone, the young guy who invites people to go to the restaurant is a very nice guy but a nice guy doesn’t mean good food so DON’T GO!

Staff was friendly and room seemed clean but woke up in the middle of the night with bed bugs crawling all over. My fiancee still has scars from the bites and we had to leave the room at 5 AM because we couldn't take it. When we asked for a refund we got a blank stare and were told that we stayed both nights. I was very disappointed in the way they handled the situation and will never go back. What a way to end my engagement weekend!

When we arrived they said we'd been upgraded to a Deluxe room which was nice. Room was spacious for Italy and the bathroom was huge and very fancy. Our room was clean and the air conditioning worked fine. We didn't hear any noise from the street. Breakfast was nothing to rave about and the service was inconsistent, chilly at times. I would say it lived up to our expectations of Venice.

Very good hotel with a comfortable and large room, well located a few minutes from St Mark's Square. We liked the decoration of the shower room.
The staff were very nice and friendly.
The negatives were:
— The breakfast offer was rather limited with a small room
— The bed creaked a lot on one side, not very practical to sleep with every move.
— A shower door was broken and was "repaired" with scotch following our report.

Excellent all around. Great location, friendly staff, and clean, good size, tastefully decorated room. Breakfast was included but the selection was a bit limited (good nonetheless) We enjoyed our stay here.

The location is perfect! The room is super clean, as everything in the hotel. The breakfast is tasty, rich. Really nice staff :) I recommend for everybody!

Great, they we even upgraded for my girlfriend's birthday we went from a normal room to deluxe, fantastic.

Very nice hotel away from the place in a very cheap neighborhood that stands out from the tourist traps sumptuous hotel warm modern and spacious rooms impeccable cleanliness!

Enjoyable stay. The staff were nice and polite and the view from the Canal View room was an excellent way to start and end each day.

Just a short 5 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. Room is very small, but clean and bathroom is nice.

What a little gem of a hotel! Everything about it is fab from its location just minutes from St Marks Sq & the Grand Canal, on a canal where gondolas glide past & surrounded by lovely restaurants & bars. The staff are simply lovely, they are so courteous & helpful, the breakfasts great with plenty of choice and the rooms are gorgeous! We are loving our stay here… this is truly a bijoux 5 star hotel but without the massive prices! Can't wait to come back here!

Nice location, very close to all the sights and of the main tourist routes. Easy to get to with the alilaguna boats from the airport (blue line, get off at San Zaccaria). Nice, clean rooms with great housekeeping. "Ok" breakfast, nothing fancy, but the city of Venice is not in short of places to eat. Friendly and helpful staff.

Awful. Got a tiny box room right next to the reception, lifts and a smokers entrance. Barely slept with the constant noise. Room so small couldn't open wardrobe doors or the bathroom door! It was like an employees rest room we were fobbed off with. Bathroom damp and smelly. Breakfast very basic and cheap. Refused to swap our room even though they had several available online to sell. Definitely many other better options with similar price and location.

Really nice hotel. Brilliant location, just away from the most touristy areas. Staff really helpful, booking restaurants and recommending things. Rooms clean and tidy.

Lovely hotel in great location. Modern clean rooms with friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. Temperature in room unable to be controlled enough, so we had 2 sleepless nights, unaided by the bed which had a large dip in the middle. Overall, a very pleasant stay and if you got a different bed and temperature control, I would recommend.

Very helpful staff and very comfortable room on ground floor. Perhaps room for disabled. Enjoyed our breakfast very much! Will return!

Welcomed by helpful and professional staff, quiet and clean environment. Great location to get to San Marco and other points of interest.

Location was very close to water taxis, st marks square, restaurants and many other places of interest. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a room on first floor with views of gondola passing beneath our balcony which was bliss. Our room was spacious, bed and pillows were comfy, everything was clean and I would have loved to take the shower home with me! Venice is a fantastic place to visit and we would love to go back someday.

Room was quite small for a 4 star, no kettle and the bar prices were extortionate. The breakfast was quite disappointing and didn't really cater for gluten free beyond a packet of crackers, which was contradictory to what we had been told when booking. The staff were pleasant, and the room was clean. Generally i'd recommend, but would advise to opt out of the breakfast and buy your drinks for the room elsewhere. Also, if you plan on spending much time in the room, maybe take an ipad etc, as there was only one english TV channel available (bbc news). Wifi was really good.

Great location with friendly staff. Room was quite basic and smelt of smoke as you initially entered bar the smoke smell the room had everything you need to enjoy a city break.

We stayed there from May 11 to 14, 2015. This is the perfect hotel to discover Venice. It is located in a quiet meadow about 400 meters from St. Mark's Square. Our room (105) was really on top, spacious, high ceiling, air-conditioned, with a balcony overlooking the street and one of the Venetian canals. The breakfast that was included was excellent! A big congratulations to all the hotel staff, very attentive and very friendly. The hotel arranged a taxi to the island of Murano in a snap of a finger, really very professional. We really enjoyed our stay at Ai Due Principi and highly recommend this property.

Small hotel but it's in Venice far bit of walk from parking.

Beautiful hotel. Central location. Very friendly management. Nice rooms although it lacks the shower stall. And little poor breakfast. Overall a good place to stay.

I'm not very happy with it. All very nice, tight spaces but I think in Venice are all pretty much so, we were on honeymoon, our agency has recommended to all hotels, on arrival we say that we were given a room of higher level but to me it seemed normal and overlooking anything. OK never mind I may have too high expectations on the top hotel in Trieste they did find huge room with sea view and the evening prosecco in the room. CMQ breakfast is normal with all prepackaged serve well and in a friendly, there is salty, but nothing special. They charge the Wi-Fi € 8 for me is absurd with what you pay the room okay that Venice is expensive but at other hotels is free. The tax is 4.5 a night per head to pay cash. In short, more a 3 star 4 you pay too much but the location is good and they are friendly.

In short. From the photos of the site looked better. And then to charge Wi-Fi a euros per hour of connection is a rip off. Posive Note: breakfast. Superb. For the rest, it looks like a real four stars.

Definitely very friendly. More from three stars superior that 4. Red and gold lobby not harmonizes with the beige rooms with heavenly light dust. Room are too many spotlights and flicker more useful for questioning at ABU GHRAIB that in Venice. White Terry cloth slippers offer cute, cheap detergents packaging and dated. The breakfast deal. There is yogurt packaged, corn flakes, jam packed, little choice of bread in the oven, Ditto the brioche and defrosted one type (! ), even the little cake yummy. There is something salty. But you can do better. Overall, unless you get a good deal, the value for money is biased towards the price a little high.

A chic boutique hotel in 2 steps from Piazza San Marco but at the same time in a quiet area in the Castello district. Beautiful room with a romantic view on a typical Venetian canal.
