Very good location Maintenance of the rooms to improve. Reservation and payment made directly from the hotel's website for a superior room with breakfast. Arrival at the hotel with waiting because he was giving (long) tourist explanations to two boys, neglecting our presence. Room in the impact with Windows on the garden and Great canal view. King-size bed, large Murano glass chandelier, tasteful vintage furniture. Ample service with bath with hydromassage and also shower cabin. Comfortable mattresses and warm temperature attractively. Breakfast with fresh and good quality food and with more than ample choice. Cleanliness of the room and general thorough. Some notes on neglected maintenance details: Carpeting in front of the bathroom that is peeling off, opening knob missing in one of the cupboard's mirror doors, fabric upholstery under the stained window and door of the frame ruined by wear, Telephone with handset disconnected from the appliance which is not connected to the socket, Ethernet cable on the table but disconnected from the socket where the connection no longer exists. In the room not a single socket available to recharge devices: I had to temporarily detach the Abat-jour. In the bathroom the socket/switch near the washbasin without cover plate (sic! ), the shower of the tub is not working because it was leaking from inside the hose; Aerator annoyingly too noisy. The staff are friendly and helpful But I would like to report an excessive "concern" in wanting to redo the room as we went for breakfast (H 8, 15) and a tad of too much emphasis in "informing" or customers at breakfast. They are small details (someone Aloro I omitted) that has not indicated in any way the pleasant stay. I will definitely return!
