Just had the most amazing 3 nights at the hotel will defo be back, loved the Italian look, Walter in the bar was amazing he help us a lot with different things to do in Venice, all other staff very friendly and hotel very clean and tidy, If I had one moan it was out bed although comfy it was two singles together you could feel the join but this will not put us off as definitely be back in the hotel very central to everything see u soon xxx.

Just about to fly home from Marco Polo after a great stay at Hotel Giorgione. Myself and my husband were staying for our mini-moon and we were luckily upgraded at check in. The staff were so friendly and helpful and helped us with all boat ventures around the city.
The room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom clean and spacious with a powerful shower and lovely bath products. Location was great, about 15 mins to St Marc’s Square, 10 mins to Rialto Bridge and a Coop around the corner for shopping. A brilliant stay and will be recommending for Venice travellers!

This is an amazing hotel! Don’t let some of the comments discourage you from booking here, this place is great! The building is 100+ years old and the decor is impressive. Very clean, first-class staff, and a great location all made this hotel on our vacation.

They messed up with our rooms, we had booked 2 rooms each for 2 people. And they somehow assumed we were a family and put us in a 4 people room, telling us it was an upgrade. The reality is that it was a 2 people room where they added a second movable double bed… Finally we found a solution with them, and at the end of the stay they wanted us to pay more money because we had better rooms that what was initially booked. Which was false. They literally tried to scam us, oldschool italian style.

The hotel was a historic little gem and easy to get around Venice from esp for a trip to the islands. However, after looking at all photos I was dissapointed with our room and tiny bathroom. Nowhere to put anything. Also, remember that you need to bring your travel iron and travel kettle (and good tea bags) if you can't go a day without a cuppa. Staff were pleasant enough and polite though. Breakfast was plentiful with lots to choose from in a beautiful room full of ornate chandeliers to admire. Lastly, dont go to the pizzeria on the corner by the church. Complete rip off and tourist trap.

Very good price to quality ratio, v clean rooms. Professional and fast staff and with lots of humor. Small breakfast variety but enough. Don't be scared with the location it's close to everything by feet We walked all Venice around in a day yoy just need energy.

Friendly hotel. Home in French. A very nice terrace with pool and a delicious free tea until 5pm. Room quite decent, comfortable bed. Very well located (Rialto). I recommend it!

Excellent service, care and detailed hospitality The staff was attentive, and the place was well maintained. We had a garden room, right by the poolside which was very convenient. They fell over themselves to make Venice and the hotel interesting and special. Every encounter was positive. One suggestion to hotel management: update the pillow stock.

The hotel is gorgeous and have some rare hand made glass pieces in the lobby. The personnel is adorable, the most the concierge. I really enjoyed it. I can only recommend it.

Atmosphere dated Maninnuna romantic Venice.

The offer of the hotel was without specifications that it can be a room on the ground floor with direct access from the bar and from the swimming pool for hotel guests, poor lighting and poor noise isolation. The offer „Room will be assigned at the check-in“ does not automatically mean that for EUR 129, the gust will get a room with these disadvantages.
I can’t accept the explanations of the hotel staff that it was a standard room. If the window is under the ceiling and you have direct access from the bar and swimming pool into the room it cannot be a standard for all of hotel`s rooms (! ). And if you have to raise yourself on tiptoes to get some light or to have a look on the street it is not a standard window for all rooms of this hotel (! ).
On the hotel website, there is no photo of this room with this window under the ceiling. On the website, the hotel writes that a room in the garden (the room that was assigned to me) is “facing the internal garden” but this room faces the swimming pool and tables for the hotel guests – (not the garden).
As the hotel does not mention all these disadvantages it does misinform the client. And the misinformation can be regarded as fraud. To my refund request the hotel said "I see no reason for refund".
I refused to stay, did not stay at the hotel and did not use any services. That means the hotel charged me for services that I did not use.

Old Venetian Style. Well located in a quiet area and close enough to the important places which allows good walks to barge.

Great location, very helpful and professional staff… but the double bed with two single mattresses was really incocepibile, very uncomfortable you split the two mattresses and you found yourself on the stave! Then another negative note was the tavern high prices and questionable quality.

Great little Hotel with an awesome staff. Mornings were met with a nice breakfast option and the location was tucked away just nicely local to many routes. The rooms are small but cozy and the restrooms inside the rooms offered decent shower and bathing options. The space was great and we would certainly stay here again. Only downside was the pool/hottub area was closed for repairs when we stayed and the main facility was under some sort of repair.

A beautiful hotel with a family feel. It can be noisy at times due to the proximity to church bells but this quietens down. Every member of staff is helpful and professional. I would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel, for Venice It is perhaps the limit on service. The rooms in the photos are a little embellished, near not everything so glitters, but in general, the rooms have no complaints (booked 2 rooms and 2 more asked to show: were all different, but it's an old house, so will go). Super location: Roughly halfway between the train station and San Marco (about half an hour and there and there). Nearby there are 2 supermarkets ("Coop" just around the corner, but it was not). Very good breakfast. Tea and coffee in the lobby in the afternoon. The tea, however, is hardly warm. Drinks at the bar at the level. Just do not dine in the restaurant (Osteria Giorgione) : expensive, tiny portions and tasteless.

Lives upto its four star rating. Great rooms with a wonderful breakfast service. Location is very near to Rialto bridge and St Marks square is a 10 to 15 minute walk. Would have been happy to have had a bath tub — otherwise perhaps one of the best places to stay in Venice.

Book a page for 7 people they only had room for 3 with tiny desires and the person who attended us at the counter was very rude to us!

Central area. Easy to reach the station. On foot you come with a walk in St. Mark's Square. Nearby is the Vaporetto stop. Hotel Austere is a bit old fashioned with some carelessness in the details. Very friendly staff Historic building. Great for a holiday stay. Lastly: fair and reasonable price without having to faze. Many foreign tourists.

Easy to get to from the station.

Perfect location, 6 minute walk from the port for a 30 minute ferry to the airport. 15 euro one-way. Outstanding restaurants all around the block of the hotel. Good value for the price considering Venice is not cheap.

Very convenient for all locations and transport. Boat connection to airport only 5minutes away. Old and quaint.

Great as lovely personal hotel.

This was a great hotel with great service. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The only downfall might be that it is about a 15 or 20 minute walk to Saint Marco, which is the main shopping and tourist area. But I can't complain because it is an absolutely beautiful walk regardless. The buffet was wonderful. They had a large selection to choose from, and even had cereal which I was surprised about. I highly recommend this place if you are thinking about staying in Venice.

Lovely place. We had a fantastic holiday here and perfectly located just a short walk from the bridge but not in the centre of chaos. The right part of the island, with a 15 min walk from where the airport boat bus drops you off. Right downstairs a few bars that make you feel like a real local.

This hotel is in great location. It is walking distance to to many of the main attractions around Venice. Also is set away from the busy streets and is generally quiet during night. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The room was very spacious. However as it's an old style hotel, the floors creaked and you could hear people walking/chatting in the passages outside the room. We booked a double bed, and the bed was 2 singles put together. I know some hotels do this, but I prefer one big mattress rather than 2. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was great and served a variety of dishes. There is also a room with a pool table.

A wonderful hotel, very authentic, with great customer service. Every enquiry dealt with efficiently and with a smile. Lovely touches with a bottle of prosecco left the first day and some chocolate hearts left on Valentine's day. The room was also great. We went for a suite and had a bath each which was a real treat as I didn't have to wait two hours for it to become free!
Easy to get to from Treviso by coach and a water bus service service stop at Ca'D'oro leaving only a five minute walk to the hotel.
I would recommend without hesitation. My Fiance loved it that much she would only ever want to stay here if we returned.

The aesthetic of the hotel is traditional. While I personally prefer modern style, I still found my room charming and lovely. Everything was very comfortable, from the deep bath tub with I loved to the excellent pressure of the shower. The windows come with wood shutters, which manage to block out all light and a good amount of noise as well. The staff has also been very friendly and my stay was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place and come back next time.

For the money, in Venice, the place was excellent. The location was central and provided easy access to all areas of the city. The staff were superb — helped us with all our queries and made arrangements for us upon request and without complaint. Absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were in Venice a couple weeks back and loved it. We stayed at the Hotel Giorgione and loved it. We felt it was the perfect location and the staff were very welcoming. If there is one negative, it would have to be the continental breakfast. Definitely needs to be changed or refined. Not the greatest tasting food. Very bland and was not cohesive to the feel of being in Italy. Very different. This, coming from a foodie. With all that said, we would recommend this place totally! Grazie Hotel Giorgione!

Bouquets of flowers and Procecco awaited my mother in our Jr Suite upgrade … Since we arrived into Venice … on her Birthday. The Staff was attentive and cheerful… we could not have asked for a better experience over all. They set up a private tour of Murano and Burano for us … Brilliant!

This hotel is overpriced, run down and offers no comfort whatsoever. Avoid. Website images and brochure images are far too doctored and do not represent the reality of this venue. Staff are hit and miss some being helpful, curtious and genuine. Others offering little more than a smug smile and false promises. Stayed here for four days and spent as little time as possible in our creaky, shabby junior suite.

135 euro for one night in a double room very small and dark, not worth the effort. Most of the structure seems to be restructuring and to get to our room we had to view the ceiling opened up and exposed wires.
The location of the hotel is great, breakfast not great. All decent but I wouldn't recommend it.

Super hotel and very centrally located. We were already 2 x in Venice, and both times we have stayed at this hotel. The rooms have a great flair and it feels right in a different world. The hotel staff was very nice and spoke broken German for the part, but one could talk with them in English. The breakfast in the morning was also ok, not the best, but it was enough. The space in the dining room there could be but slightly larger.

With two possibilities by proximity access well located in an area hotel. Close to the places to visit and the alleys to stroll. Friendly and smiling staff. Room with a high ceiling. Very comfortable room. Nice breakfast in the courtyard of the hotel.

I chose this hotel because my girlfriend already in Venice said it looked nice. Since I was only staying for two nights, I didn't think twice and booked the cheapest non-reimbursable rooms. Amazing experience, great breakfast, very clear communication between staff and guests. My girlfriend had a birthday the second day and she had given her passport to the hotel staff for registration (something you have to do at hotels in Venice). The staff celebrated without any prompting with a free bottle of prosecco and hand-written note in our room. Incredibly worthwhile and worth the price. PS Rooms are little funny, but very comfortable.

We stayed at this Hotel for a weekend. They reserved, with surprise, a room with two bathrooms, large and comfortable.
The hotel is central, more comfortable to live the city in all its districts. Giorgione hotel has a long history, just charming. Deserves.

When looking for a hotel, this one came near the top of reviews so decided to stay here in one of the suites. I have to say, it is quite rightly well reviewed. It's a great place, with friendly and helpful staff and the hotel itself has a real sense of history. Location-wise it's great, near a main water taxi stop and also great as a starting point for wandering the streets of Venice. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location: 5 minutes on foot from Rialto Bridge and easy to reach fron Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. nice rooms: the room was small but confortable and in typical Venetian style. good value for money.
