Super located, right on the lake. Great service and nice rooms!

An earthly paradise a family welcome attentive but not intrusive … I arrived after an exhausting year and two years without holidays … I spent three wonderful days … thanks to all the staff of the "cuddles" received
see you soon and friends is a place to visit really go there.

So this is my take on the place… and to be open from the start — we’ve stayed there 11 times!
If you want a big room — forget it. If you want a nice room, of reasonable size, with more than adequate storage for everything, and a super-convenient bathroom with bath and shower and masses of space for all your stuff then I’ve rarely had a place to match it.
We’ve always had a lake view with small balcony. Magnificent! You don’t just see the lake itself, but across to the mountains on the opposite side. Breathtaking. And you spend a lot of time looking across and marvelling at the vehicles you can see climbing up the apparently sheer rock faces from lake level to the previously unnoticed villages above.
We’ve seen a lot of staff changes over the years (2004 — 2018) but the ethos of genuine Italian service and excellent cuisine has been paramount. We’ve always loved the 4 course approach to dinner — antipasti/primi/secondi/dolce. Thankfully no self service buffet (other than for breakfast, or the optional salad bar at dinner) And Marcello the MD/sommelier has always been there!
If you want fancy and boutique this may not be for you. Think location, location, location.

Fabulous hotel! Great situation. Excellent staff who are always friendly and helpful. Michele on the front desk gets a special mention for giving us a special room for our once in a lifetime celebration visit to Malcesine! Never had half board before but I can thoroughly recommend it. You choose the meal in the morning and get served at your table in the evening just like the a la carte restaurant. No buffet scrumdown! Food is varied and of excellent quality. We'd come back in a heartbeat. If you're thinking of staying I'd recommend you do so. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Just great! Stay!

Location is 1st class, right on the lake with wonderful views. It is a short walk along the lake into the main town. Here you can get boats or buses to various other lakeside towns or the cable car up the mountain. Staff very friendly, food good.

Great hotel and location. Clean rooms like the common areas. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Wonderful itramonti from the balcony of the room without noise or smog of the machines since it is overlooking the lake with pedestrian street.

A wonderful place, in a strategic position with service and cuisine that you expect. Friendly staff, relaxed a few meters from the centre of Malcesine and the beaches. Very good and nice managers Michael and Rosanna, as the maitre d', Marcello.

We went on honeymoon we got a fantastic room looking over the lake rooms super clean friendly staff food small portions but great we will be back.

Beautiful location perfect for a stroll to malcesine, but away from the hustle and bustle. Stunning lakeside views and the rooms are very nice too. The food in the hotel is okay but there are plenty of nice places to eat nearby. The staff are extremely friendly and can't do enough for the guests. One tip. Take your own hairdryer!

Fantastic week just spent there, great position right on the lake. Only a few minutes walk into the town. Lovely pool. Would highly recommend.

We drive already some years on the lake. After me a few years ago a Zölikie would be diagnosed, we wanted to this time, at the time of booking on the safe side, we chose the travel Agency for this Hotel. Gluten-free Breakfast… cool I say just because! This pre-packaged junk I would not buy even at home! I can say easily the I gluten-free offering! The approach wouldn't be so bad, but it was also different! I know the rolls supplier from last year, and white has the very good gluten-free bread and also pastries. Need to baking it yet! But that will not be in a four star kitchen is probably the Problem! The rooms are also really bad. Air conditioning broken. And their personnel will be and when you would be able to count to two. This Hotel is definitely bad! Never again!

Fantastic hotel, super room looking over the lake. Food plentiful, well cooked, well presented. Staff very helpful, polite and friendly. In a quiet position but only 10 minute stroll into the centre of Malcesine. Would like to return at a later date and would highly recommend.

The hotel is unfortunately not quite what the name promises. Malcesine is a very beautiful, some really ancient city. The hotel was not something antique, but unfortunately in the positive sense. In our room, it was somehow a little too dark for my taste. It should be renovated once, and newer furniture would not hurt. I have nothing against an old-fashioned style, but lived off is just uncomfortable. The room was clean, and the food you could put up with also. Also the pool was nice but almost too small for the amount of tourists and crowded.
