We had dinner here while staying in Selva this July. Excellent food and wine and a very nice service too. The restaurant also has a fantastic view of the Sella massif and at the end of a rainy day we were lucky to see the Dolomites rocks on fire with pink and orange reflections at sunset. Highly recommended!

We were guests only in the restaurant, well decorated and neat furnishing. Great thread, paper wine but not exceptional. Price in line with the quality of what is consumed. Something to improve in the service.

Had dinner here while we were in Selva over Christmas. We were staying in a different hotel but Freina was close enough to walk to and we had the most amazing meal here. We ended up going back a second time before the trip was over. Highly recommend eating here even if you're not stayingin the hotel.

We stayed in February 2018 10 days at the hotel Freina. The food was very good, the advice about wines as well. The service at the table and the hotel could not be better. The meal was also catered for by individual requests. The room was clean and always religious. The wellness experience as a whole is also worth the five stars. Access to the first ascent aid on the piste is Gerademal 15 m from the hotel, it is not better. Everything together excellent, we come back.

It's a great meal. We stop to eat when we are in Selva and we always found ourselves well.

Regardless whether you have accommodation in Freina hotel, you must visit its restaurant. This is the Tyrol amazing cuisine and a significant collection of perfect local and foreign vines. The owners and staff are very hospitable. The reservation in restaurant is required.

It was our first visit, not our last. A home to feel good. Intuitives and delightfully straightforward. All the staff very attentive and helpful. Delicious food at any time of the day. The situation still comes as icing on the cake. A great holiday!

We were only in the restaurant and would almost not have gone there as it made a very exclusive impression. Luckily we were there: cordial service, excellent food at normal prices. We'll be back.

Dinner on the Eve… An evening definitely NO… The service was just disappointing. We waited more than half an hour our table, have the wrong ordering, The dishes ordered have come out very spaced between them (even 10/15 minutes nn being able to eat all together) … And so much more… Too bad! Because all in all The dishes ordered were good, tasty and in sufficient quantity except The ravioli (dish really miserable… 5 Ravioli! ) … I sincerely Hope it was just a bad night…

A very beautiful busy hotel.

I not staying in the hotel, as I have a great B&B close, but I usually und up having my dinner at Restaurant Freina. Prise / Quality they're in my opinion very high. There are other great places here in Selva di Val Gardena, but when it comes to friendly staff, service and food quality, there one of the best! I would highly recommend going at least once.

A lunch at the Hotel Freina with our clients is a must every week of ski guiding each season.

We stayed a few nights ago at this great restaurant,
Perhaps the best in Selva. The kitchen is truly remarkable. Mushroom pappardelle with venison rosa, reach a refined taste, and yummy. The other delicious dishes, and what about the Tyrolean appetizer, one speck of yesteryear.
The waiters are very kind, but unfortunately I have to say a negative word against owners or persons are welcome.
We booked at 8.45 for 13 people and they put him at 21.20!
And the best part is that we were told: "you are 13 you can expect to get seated just arrived"?
Stuff from the other world, we booked in advance!
Anyway apart from that I would highly recommend it!
Prices are okay and very honest.
Perhaps it is no exaggeration to charge an 18 euros a bottle house wine.

Family run hotel clean and cared for. The common rooms are well furnished, although it can be seen that the structure has a few years. Rooms definitely have been recently renovated and are very nice, spacious and cozy! The kitchen serves traditional, very generous portions. The staff were very nice. The location is 2 steps from the village centre. In winter, the location at the foot of a descent I believe is a must for the direct route to the sellaronda or dolomiti Superski.
In summer it is ideal for those seeking a peaceful place to enjoy nature, hiking and walking.

Top accommodation. Great food. Very good staff. Very nice hosts.
