I came back today and a wonderful hotel cleanliness courtesy and all good location great all near the sea port shops you eat very well in the hotel and even in the pool I recommend it 100 thousand times.

We found a lot of hospitality and courtesy from all the staff, very clean hotel and attention to detail, in the morning a wide choice for a rich breakfast, also excellent cuisine for dinner.
I hope to come back …

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The setting is splendid, the view breathtaking. The whole property is very well maintained and clean. Good varied breakfast and delicious dinner. A beach nearby but nice swimming pool in the property. Excellent value for money.

I recommend the hotel for kindness to eat yummy we made the honeymoon all nice kind and helpful.

Super recommended hotel. The hotel is in a great location, just a few meters from the center. We have just returned and already we are missing breakfasts, aperitifs and castle views dinners.
The staff at the Ulysses hotel are gorgeous, super courteous, always available.
Cleaning 10 and praise… We will come back often.

Wonderful welcome, the most stunning view from some of the rooms. Rooms cleaned immaculately every morning. Great air con. The room and bathroom are quite small but who spends the day in their room. The view is worth a smaller room. Large spotlessly clean and trendy roof terrace.
It has a bar by the two pools. The area around the pool beautiful with different fruit trees around.

Overall a good experience. Downside: you have to buy and wear a swimming cap to use the pool.

Great! Clean and tidy rooms with all comfort services. Excellent staff at the reception, bar and room used for lunches, dinners and breakfasts. A very welcoming place to feel at home.

Great stay and location. Thank you for the professionalism of the reception, the hospitality, the cleanliness, the healthy and abundant cuisine, the friendliness of all. Great hotel by the city center, 10 minutes walking from shops and restaurants. Nice and friendly staff, good organization and clean rooms. We get two rooms in the hotel and one had a incredible view from the bay and the castle but with a small balcony, the other had a bigger and more comfortable balcony but poor view from the city center. Nice breakfast and they get some discount for city attractions.

It's always nice to come here from Hilary and Filippo to the 3 star bathroom. It is a pleasure both for the palate and for the atmosphere that is breathed with cordiality. Not least, the beauty of the sea and the landscape.

Close to the sea. A luxurious view of Aragon Castle. Warm pool. Good breakfasts.

Rooms are very nice had a double room with extra bed and still had enough room, the staff reception and maid very friendly and helpful. The waiters at breakfast couldn't even greet in a week or didn't even ask us if they could help us with anything. Although 3 waiters were always present. So 1 star deduction. But that hotel is very central and you have a beautiful view from the terrace on the 4th floor. So who doesn't care that the waiters don't greet or are not helpful, then I can only recommend this hotel.

First holiday in Ischia, to be repeated… Excellent hotel, beautiful and well kept room, the view from the top of Ischia port priceless on the Castle and sea! Clean, equipped with swimming pools, one heated. Bar in the pool for quick lunch, delicious bruschetta all tomato! Staff.

The best hotel in Ischia. We had a room with balcony and with amazing view to castel aragonese. The stuff was very friendly and of course mr. John in snack bar was the best chef in island… Thanks for everything…

Beautiful Place the staff delightful specilmente those in the restaurant. The pools clean the garden kept the sig who manage it very helpful and kind a flaw however C and parking I do not say X the cars but not even x the mopeds should find a soluxione the room without a view the window overlooks the screech but in compensation is be The big and very clean is to go back.

Stayed for 1 week at the hotel and was a good stay. Very friendly and nice service at check in, pool and breakfast. Big plus is the hotel has air conditioning. The pool was not crowded and big enough (not large). The rooms had well working air conditioning and there is also a small grocery store very close. Our room had a regular enclosed shower with doors but other rooms we saw had the shower in the bath room itself only with a curtain around it but the shower was basically one corner of the room. So if you have a chance ask for a room with a regular shower. Breakfast is the standard italian style with no warm options. Friendly service and was refilled quickly if anything run out. Can't fault the hotel for anything. It is a bit older (decor, etc. ) but well maintained. For a 3 star a good value for money. Just keep in mind that it is not a modern US style 3 star hotel like a Hampton Inn or something similar and our ranking is based on the local standards in Italy.

Everything you need is right here. Close to everything. The rooms are modern and clean. The tile work throughout is artistry. At night the pool dances with colors of the rainbow to remind you a little piece of heaven is indeed here on Earth. Come and stay where you are family.

Lovely staff, great views and a reasonable price. Every website seemed to show most hotels in this price range as much the same, tiled floors, small rooms and old decor. All of that is true of Ulisse. But some great views of the castle, and being a bit further away from the busiest part of this locality, it's a good choice.

Positive experience at hotel Ulisse. Strategically located practically on the beach, 5 minutes walk from the aragonese Castle and a kilometre and a half from the Harbour, the hotel is in good condition and has a swimming pool very well taken care of. My experience was more than pleasant because we were staying in one of the rooms on the pool. The restaurant service is impeccable comma dinner included a buffet starter, first course, second course and fruit or ice cream, all of good quality. Well even the reception. The only drawback, the rooms comma too small and "Spartan". However overall I recommend it quietly.

STAY AWAY! I would give this place no stars if I could. Where do I start? The staff is rude and very unaccommodating. I spent 3 weeks traveling all around Italy. I booked here for 3 nights and checked in the room was tiny, and I mean tiny. I have stayed in a lot of small rooms over the years in NYC, SF and throughout Europe. But this was ridiculous. There wasn't even room for our bags. Now I could have lived with that the room was dirty and then the thing that completely ruined it was the bathroom. There was no real shower. Just a shower head in the tiny bathroom and a drain on the floor. It was like a crappy cruise ship bathroom but old and dirty. Needless to say I only stayed the first night and decided to move. They wouldn't even entertain the notion of letting me out out of the last 2 nights even though they mislead you on what you are getting. So we choose to book a room in Capri and that was a wonderful decision. Ischia is a crappy low class island. Do yourself a favor and go to Capri. But if you do decide to go to Ischia DON'T stay here.

We're on holiday with another couple of friends, from 27/07 to 8/2/2015, great hospitality, great service, great staff. The downside about the room (# 16) in miniature, very narrow bathroom, shower tray, without any window.

Very kind staff and location is good.
