We atended a family wedding here and we're impressed by the quality of the food, the fantastic service and the beautiful building and location. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us.

Very nice Place, friendly and hospitable owners, always available for tips on what to see nearby and where to eat. Superior Room very spacious, clean and comfortable, recently renovated and with unparalleled view of the garden and hills. It was a very nice place.

Magical Wedding Venue We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding celebrations and nuptials at the Castle over a period of one week. My family are originally from the surrounding area, although I was born in London. Therefore, it was key for me to find a beautiful venue that could accommodate both English and Italian guests. This venue did just that. The venue itself is magical and steeped in history. Located in what I deem to be one of the most beautiful parts of Italy (but importantly, without the hordes of tourists that you find in other areas of Italy). The opulent rooms are beautiful, many with original frescoes. Worthy of a 5-star hotel. The owners, Orlando and Kira, are exceptional hosts. They assisted us in the organisation of the wedding and were very attentive to any needs that we had, either in the lead up to or during our wedding. All of our guests would return without hesitation, which is approval enough for any venue/hotel. We will return!

Sublime. They have traditional hotel rooms inside the castle or apartments just outside the gate. Very small town and quiet with great views. Beaches are very close by, Senegalia, etc. Rooms are clean, service is great (very friendly), and they have a nice outdoor pool area for summer. Breakfast served on the terrace or in one of the rooms of the castle. A true little treasure and great stay.

We stayed for 3 nights at Castello di Monterado while travelling through Italy by train. The castle is set in beautiful countryside, and the views from its windows and garden are superb. The rooms are exquisitely decorated and furnished with tasteful antique charm, yet the mod cons one expects were there too. Kira and Orlando who run the place are helpful and welcoming, and both speak excellent English. All in all it was a delightful place to stay, and we look forward to returning there at some point in the not too distant future.

The Castello was the unforgettable and beautiful setting for our wedding. Words can't express what a magical weekend we had staying here with our friends and family to celebrate our wedding. The rooms are beautifully decorated with breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside. The top floor apartments have been renovated with such sympathy to the history of the Castello while at the same time offering luxury throughout. We staying in the honeymoon suite (Sposi Suite), our room had an enormous reception room with stunning frescos and access to the terrace which felt like standing on the bow of a ship sailing through the gorgeous rolling hills of Marche. The grounds are well cared for and make the perfect backdrop to a magical castle. Orlando and Kira (the owners) couldn't have been more accommodating and ensured that our wedding day was one we would never forget, every step of the way they where there making sure that our day was without fault, we cannot thank them enough. I know that all of our guests had a truly special weekend and would return in a heartbeat. I thoroughly recommend this hotel for any special occasion or a holiday in a beautiful setting. From the hilltop location of the Castello Di Monterado we where able to explore all that the wonderful region of Marche has to offer, this really is the hidden gem in Italy's impressive arsenal of wonders. The food is without comparison, the tourists are few and far between and the beaches are long bountiful.
