Really great hotel in all respects, perfect location, nice, comfortable, clean and manicured rooms. Very appreciable the welcome drink with in wine glass of the Ronchi Human Cellars.

A hotel strategically located to visit the historic center of Ancona and surrounding areas. Comfortable rooms sanitized and very clean. Kind and polite staff. We were also allowed to late check out to the car in the garage on the day of departure. Breakfast for all tastes. What more to ask for!

Stanze ottime, ben curate e nuove. Pulizia al top. Personale gentile ed attento. Colazione nella media, per la qualità dell'hotel dovrebbero offrire qualcosa di più artigianale e meno industriale.

Comfortable and clean environment, with fine finishes. Professional service, kind and helpful. We also dined and had aperice at the Wine Not, local inside the hotel, and it was another positive experience. Great value for money. Chosen as the base point x reach the various resorts on the Conero Riviera and the inner villages.

I recommend to any one if you have the opportunity to stop over in Ancona, Italy, don't esite to choose this hotel, good and resable price.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Parking can be tricky if you arive late, as we did. The concierge was going to give us his parking spot until a place in the nearby square was vacated.

Wonderful hotel! It looks very well maintained and has a good charm. The staff is extremely friendly. The receptionist, Valentina, is well remembered. Also at breakfast and at the parking were all very accommodating.

The only criticism: The shower was not 100% clean. In the corners it had unsightly deposits. But we would still like to come back.

Good location. Recently renovated. Looks good but build quality poor. Electricity socket fell out of wall and shower floods whole room.

The location of the hotel is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the center. Parking in the hotel, very well decorated and practical rooms, clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a small gym in the hotel and a restaurant, which although it is a bit expensive the food is delicious.

I didn't have the pleasure of staying overnight, but just entering reception for business reasons I noticed a style of a very high elegance and quality. It has a very British style.

An amazing city and a wonderful hotel, Ancona is a hidden jewel of Italy and the Grand Hotel provides an excellent point from which to explore the city. The views of the harbor from the room are amazing, and the staff is always there to assist.

Nice structure in front of the sea but also in the center of modern Ancona with some fine touches like the fireplace in the dining room great breakfast and minibar available for free in the room.

The welcome, room and views were exceptional. A place I would recommend to any traveller wanting service that is above and beyond the norm.

Superknowledgable receptionists and very helpful. Hotel very well kept and comfortable, just next to port where the ferries leave. If I ever come again to Ancona I'll stay here.

Fortunately only a night spent at the hotel, at 5 in the morning waken the harbour … icing on the cake: no parking, car on the street, at risk removal.

Two colleagues and I traveled from the US to Ancona, Italy for a university exchange. We were originally placed in another hotel near the train station but did not feel that that was the safest area for three females, nor were we pleased with the size of our hotel rooms. We spent our first night in Ancona searching online for a new hotel and narrowed it down to the Grand Hotel Palace and one other hotel. We ultimately decided on the Grand Hotel Palace because of the location… near the main shopping streets (Giuseppe Mazzini and Giuseppe Garibaldi). When we arrived, we felt right at home! The hotel management and staff were so friendly! Two of the three rooms were not ready, but they put those rooms on priority to ensure that we could get inside our rooms in a timely manner. We only had to wait about 15 minutes until they were ready. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and have quite some personality. Rooms on different floors look different inside and are all nicely decorated with fun colors and artwork (I had a lime green tile bathroom with crystal chandeliers and a horse purse/key holder). Every time we left or returned to the Grand Hotel Palace, the staff greeted us and remembered our names and room numbers. Susanna and Guillermo (Mr. William as I called him) were the most polite and friendly. They were sincerely inquisitive and offered great suggestions for nearby shopping, dining, and local traveling.
