Mount Cònero is 572 m above sea level. The synonym Mount of Ancona, commonly abbreviated to Mt. Is historically the most used. Only since the last post-war Period Conero, until that time used only at the cultured level, has it also spread popularly.
It is the most important Italian headland of the Adriatic along with that of Gargano and has the highest sea cliffs of the entire Italian east coast (more than 500 meters). Despite its altitude of 572 meters, it fully deserves the name of the mountain for the majestic appearance that shows to those who observe it from the sea, for its alpine paths, for the high overhangs, for the vast views and for the activities that take place there typical of the mountain, like free climbing.
On the headland to which it gives its name extends the Conero Regional Park.

Well, what about I was born and raised here, so woe who touches me, I am part of the association that does firefighting, in this period then, after the snowfall we are working together with other associations to restore the trails by cutting the Fallen trees, I think the institutions should do a lot more for the green areas.

Nice place, very "steep" to do in the car but it's worth it, breathtaking view!

Magnificent walks in a magnificent nature with great landscapes. A place traditionally full of mysteries where you can visit Roman quarries, prehistoric graffiti, Romanesque churches, caves and Romitaggi.

Wonderful beach, walking distance, but believe me deserves.

With small walks, you reach places where the view is nothing short of sublime.

Great place. From the top of Monte Conero there is a beautiful path that leads up to a tip overlooking the sea from which you can enjoy an unparalleled panorama, and if you want to continue you will reach the beach. The trail is hard enough to go and you need to get there with proper equipment.

A few km from Sirolo you can take the path that crosses Monte Conero… very nice, I recommend to wear sneakers… very beautiful landscape and lots of nature…

Excellent view (s), very good service, nice rooms, delicious food, 20 metre pool, tennis court & coach to be had for extra — and all with a reasonable price.

Hotel was not as good as we hoped, views good, rooms slightly small for price. Restaurant staff not the most helpful. So went out to eat after first night poor experience. Could be so much better!

Restaurant very stylish, suitable for ceremonies. Very good The dishes, as well as the welcome buffet and desserts. A significant added value is the location, in fact it is overlooking the riviera del Conero, which at sunset offers a breathtaking view.

Bar poor and absolutely not gluten-free! Despite the beautiful location and the window from which you can admire the whole Riviera del conero, I have to give a negative judgement because they do not have any food without gluten! Coming from Milan, we are used to find the increase of the chips but here not even the one they had!

I have been with my husband on August 26, 2014 at the hotel MONTECONERO Badia San Pietro and I stayed only one day, unfortunately. However, we vowed to return as soon as possible for a longer stay because we were really fine, from every point of view: in addition to the amazing view, room and hotel are furnished in a refined restaurant with great food and friendly staff. We think you deserve another star.
