Shameful!
Last minute decision we decide to join my parents in cattolica, so I go on booking in order to look for a hotel that can accommodate us a week.
I'm coming across murex.
I make the reservation I give my credit card number ect confirmed booking from July 20 to 26.
On July 19th at 6pm we hit the road with my companion and our little bit of 2 MONTHS.
6.50pm I get a booking email telling me that my card is not going, weird but hey anyway we go the next day I will pay on the spot at worst anyway I do not know anyway call my bank at 18:50 it is closed Saturday the same.
The next day after 24 hours of driving, traffic jams and heat we arrive at the hotel murex.
I take my phone it was exactly 6:33 pm, I again received a cancellation email this time at 6:14 p. M. On Saturday, July 20 or 19 minutes before my arrival. So I go straight to the reception explaining to them they did not want to hear anything, so I find myself without accommodation after 24 hours drive with a little bit of 2 months, they did not try to find any solution at all.

I've never been to your hotel… But a few years ago I had the honor of meeting Dr. White Dangers … I personally served this elegant kind couple to the Perugino Lodges in Pieve City from breakfast to dinner for two days I wrote to try to get in touch and to thank them for the gesture before their departure. Great holiday in Catholic at Hotel Murex. Definitely yummy staff, helpful, welcoming and friendly. A special greeting to Manuel, Matteo, the head of the breakfast/lunch/dinner room and to all the staff of the property. We will gladly return :-)

Welcome and friendliness in first place.
Great value for money. Located in front of the harbour, strategic location to be able to visit on foot all Catholic and all Gabicce is practically located on the border of the two.
Under the hotel stop of the tourist trains both for the tour of Catholic and for the castle of Gradara.
I mean. Super recommended!

Great rental near the harbour, friendly staff and helpful breakfast, some dated but comfortable rooms.

Service very good, staff friendly and helpful, as is the custom of romagna and the hotel is very beautiful situated in a good point for those who want to spend a holiday in cattolica.

The feeling of being at home after a few hours of our arrival: a feeling made of smiles, scents, colors, flavors. Special people to manage this place by the gorgeous views over the marina of Cattolica. Beautiful the breakfast room on the 6th floor with a panoramic view, the food good and simple, excellent company. The seaview room has given us the special sunsets. Thanks!

Wonderful Location. So close to the beach and the port, the room every time I looked out the window, and tore a "WOW" the hospitality of the White and his staff was unique, we were made to live to the full the wonderful Romagna. Making us feel at home! The breakfast on the 6th floor served with glass windows all around, is breathtaking! The "Director Ludovico" a cute dachshund brindle put in a good mood to the environment and welcomed you to best each and every time you saw it :D

Dinner guest of friends who were staying at the Murex … I can say that I liked the hotel very much and that the kitchen was at the height of a 3 star (maybe I'd give it a S of superior).
Recommendable!

I go back to this hotel several times and every summer for the past five years. The staff are very welcoming and engaging: the Director, the White Lady, always try to put you at ease, all this is complemented by the sympathy of mark (son), very young and always available! Strategic location between cattolica and gabicce, in 15 minutes from the train station and 5 from the sea. The pool is certainly an added value for those who do not want to always stay at the beach. As for the restaurant service, I always ate great food especially the early sea, are seasoned and imaginative. The best time is certainly the breakfast on the top floor is dedicated the entire 360 degree glass facade with a breakfast area from which to admire the coast romagnola, up to the mountains of the Marche region.
The night life teems just below the hotel for different restaurants and the downtown is within walking distance. Very nice is also the SPA brought to the hotel, quiet and relaxing! I mean what about the ideal compromise between peace, comfort and want to find someone special.

The food was rubbish and there was a waiter who had beads of sweat on the dishes
Pretty much a dump.

Awful rooms. Dirty veranda and non cleaner. Refreshment service poor and inefficient. Noises everywhere and unwillingness of staff to make breakfast at 7:00 in the morning! We have happened for "mistake" during the 2013 Festival gymnastics and hope it does not akkadians anymore.

Excellent food, quiet area, a few steps from the sea and from Gabicce.
