Very nice and original structure. Very centrally located… Large and clean rooms. Good breakfast staff exceptional from the owner (Giuseppe), congratulations.

Buona esperienza di soggiorno. Stile tipico e caratteristico tipico per gli amanti del vintage. Camere nella media. Lo stile è il punto forte. Forse manca qualche confort ma adatto allo standard.

Bad Hotel.
Location and small rooms, full of objects, stuffy and surreal atmosphere. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The carpet controls everywhere.
Staff is not very well prepared and very rough.
Breakfast in an underground morning without windows and inedible.
Never again!

A different experience from the usual hotel, the TOP.
The hotel's address as reported by Google is located in via Bertia, a cross street independence (city centre) near the central station say 10/15 minutes on foot. On the back of the same is accompanied by a suggestive canal so the tranquility is discounted lo. I was initially struck by the photographs that reminded me of a certain way towards the set of a 30-year-old movie. The beauty of the objects D era the walls the furniture I was literally fascinated. It was a stop of only 2 days (unfortunately). I could not admire the whole context, but danquel little that I have seen assure that it is really worth the cost of the stay. The hall consists of only one hallway, where on the right I could notice an inner veranda ideal for having a tea even in the fall why not. The room provided there was not very wide but it contained the right and the essential for a comfortable overnight stay. Indeed having booked even at the last minute I warmly thank the managers for the availability in having found 2 rooms for 3 adults and one child. Excellent quality of the bed from a square and half comfortable and above all clean. The bathroom clean with linens just as much as above some small items were missing like a soap door which had to be backed in turn in a support (lacked maybe because someone had broken it or taken it away? ). Television with wide choice of channels, Wi-Fi service present.

Perfect location: A stone's throw from Piazza Maggiore and Piazza VIII August where there is a very large underground car park. Comfortable and particular environment! Silent but with a slight (and somewhat pleasant) noise of water flowing through the presence of the canal, which can be observed from the internal windows. Very nice staff.

Very comfortable because Central, allows you to walk around the center of Bologna. Characteristic and unusual entrance. Helpful and friendly staff. The building is clearly dated, and they would need a refreshed the fixtures, ancuni a little ' peeling, the radiators, with some point of rust, the liners of the armchairs, with some stains. It would not spoil a shower tray, instead of washing directly on the floor of the bathroom, and a tent, if not a cabin, not to wet all sanitary.

Better than that… We stayed 3 nights in Bologna, I my wife and two children and so by chance turning to via Dell'Indipendenza we found I'm beautiful original Hotel in the center, quiet, the price more than honest, maximum cleanliness, the breakfast rich and abundant, and especially the Kindness and hospitality on the part of all; By the owner, his family and his girlfriend, and all the others who work there. Receptionist, cleaning girls, … I felt at home. Until next time.

Nice room, friendly staff with wonderful English. Did not really like that there are no staff on the premises at night time though. Breakfast was ok but coffee not great. Very accessible with prams. Great location!

Great value room, very friendly staff. The breakfast was ok. We had an issue with the fire alarm during our stay and I would encourage the Hotel to look more closely at its emergency procedures. Other than that we had a very pleasant time here.

Very cozy with a very special style that denotes the creativity of the owner Joseph.
The rooms on each floor are furnished according to a specific theme. My era was set in Vintage.
I had to go back to Bologna and it will certainly be my home.

My companion and I loved this hotel. Giuseppe the owner/manager was so hospitable and helpful that we are now planning a return for a longer stay at I'll Canals. Its position is ideal for sightseeing, eating out, and transport. This is a hotel that's quirky, with the young manager's personal stamp on it — if you want a typically generic, bland place to stay — this is not it! Clean, all in working order, friendly, helpful, very conveniently positioned — it's fun but also professionally run. I will definitely be back.

Great location and room. Very friendly staff and a good experience. Breakfast as expected at this price level.

In three we stayed just one night with bed and breakfast solution. All perfect room quite spacious and nice; bathroom clean and new. During the period of December heating was so high that we had to open the window! The only flaw the receptionist who worked the morning shift was quite unapologetic for the rest.
