It's a nice hotel. However, the lamps in the room did not work, there were not enough towels, did not put water in the room… But when the reminder was all removed.

The hotel has great staff. Breakfast is very good and very nutritious. The rooms are a bit small and the elevators are not comfortable. Good parking but we found a free place.

Great hotel, loved the location and the staff were great. Especially enjoyed the bartender in the restaurant, full of knowledge & recommendations about the city. The food was excellent, and the room was comfortable. Recommend to business travelers.

I liked it. Yes, the renovation is not yesterday, but we got a spacious room and everything arranged. Breakfasts are good. Parking in front of the entrance and in the yard 7 and 12 euros respectively.

Stayed at this hotel. On 4 stars the number oh as not pulled … Repairs ala 80s… there are cold tiles in the corridors of the carpet, and there are cold tiles in the rooms on the floor.
The air conditioning only worked at 24 degrees, if someone freezes — alas.
Plus I bet for room service. Always clean, towels will give as much as you need and other shower gels.
Always a lot of people.
The food is great.

The hotel is very old, but the design of the negative did not cause, the rooms are similar to the offices of party workers during the 80st Brezhnev Periud. The rooms are there with huge balconies and without. First put in a small, narrow room, asked to change, gave spacious. The air conditioning works poorly, sleeping with the window open is problematic, because they are located on a noisy road, but not on the sunny side. Breakfast is average, if you come to the beginning to eat cottage cheese, the ham is not replenished later. Honey in honeycombs, yoghurts in jars, fruits and crows are always there.
Cleaning the room is fine, towels are a lot and change daily, water only at check-in. There is no kettle, mugs and fruit plates in the rooms. The strange rule of the hotel is you can't eat in a room (a pet) etc. The location of the hotel is good. From the window you can see the tower (the beginning of the old city) and if you walk in a straight line for 20 minutes, you get to the town hall square, the center or the bus 19.
If the hotel left 10 minutes a large market with products (curd, ham, cheeses) cut and packed for one-time use, there is alcohol and juices at the lowest prices and disposable dishes. There's 30 minutes to go to J. D. Station.

I was a guest for several days. As far as the rooms, you can't possibly talk about a 4 star hotel. The Furniture dates back and ends years 70, also the wooden fixtures emanate a constant and strong smell of pee. As For the restaurant the dishes are good, the club sandwich excellent, but the water can not charge me €4 the bottle which then is from 0.8cl. Breakfast is great, very plentiful and varied. If I should stay for one night I would not choose it again for The above reasons.

Small room, but friendly enough. Good cleaning. Bathroom with shower. Free and excellent Wi-Fi. A bit far from the center, which can still be easily reached with a walk of about 30 minutes. Only negative: Breakfast must be paid aside (and this makes losing at least one star)

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable enough. Extra blankets and pillows available in the closet. This was about all that was positive. The staff was short with us upon arrival without much of anything to say. When I later asked for a cup of ice, we were scolded and told that we are not allowed to bring in outside food. When I insisted on the ice for and explained what it was for, the colleague was similar in attitude. Later we read the room information and found out that outside food and drink was strictly forbidden so our idea of ordering pizza to the room was out. When I opened the minibar, they provided 2 bottles of water. Overall the hotel is not bad but it is definitely not 4 stars and would not stay again.

Don’t let the 4-star rating fool you. This hotel is far from the standards it claims to have. The Decor is from a time when the place was thriving with business, now it shows its age and lack of maintenance. We asked for some ice at the reception and the staff member felt the need to lecture us on their outside food policy (probably fearing that we were about to have drinks with their precious frozen water). The ice was meant to soothe pain but considering that we are guests in a hotel, I never thought that I’d have to explain the reason… Then we found out that exterior food is strictly forbidden in the room (under the risk of a €25 surcharge! ) Have I been frozen for the last 20 years or eating take away food in your hotel room is out of the norm?!

Was lovely room, clean and tidy! Bar and breakfast staff lovely! Reception staff impatient and rude. Overall nice hotel!

Great room plus a mini apartment than a hotel room. Breakfast rich for all tastes both on the sweet and salty. We had a quadruple with 2 showers, 2 sinks very comfortable being in 4. In The room there was also a kitchenette, but I did not accept it if it was functional.

Never again! The hotel is old, the rooms are small and there was not even a door on the shower. Breakfast is not worth the breakfast called and the staff is bored around the clock and has anything but desire to work.

Hotel in "vintage" style but discreetly kept and refurbished. Great location, well connected with the facilities and a 20 minute walk to the center. Nice and friendly staff, restaurant inside, breakfast very plentiful, rooms very large and quiet (we were in 4, two adults and two children). Very satisfied.

Hotel located in the western part of Bologna. I found the room to be spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast very varied. There is an open-air car park with a subsidized rate for hotel guests.

Definitely high price compared to the quality of the room! The rooms are very thin and the bathroom is very small.
Wi-Fi Poor! I didn't even see Netflix the secure parking connected to the hotel costs 24 euro per day and it is very difficult to find other parking in the area!
It was a very nice place to stay.

The rooms were very clean and the staff extremely friendly. The décor has the charm of the seventies. We found this great! It doesn't always have to be hypermodern, the ambiance here has a certain something. Unfortunately a bit from the centre. Bus station nearby.

Very good hotel, definitely to get away by Bologna is a good option. Close to everything, from the airport city. It has markets very close and the bar at night is not said; Ricardo Excellent bar tender. Very good option will definitely return.

I have been for 2 nights in this hotel. Great location Beautiful structure rooms comfortable and spotless, has TV and Wi-IFI. The staff at our disposal for anything! Really nice… it offers ample parking. Come down and find all means where you can move freely. I highly recommend it + + +

Worst place in the city. Not clean. To expensive. Service stuff is really not pleasant.

Very bad experience, the hotel is absolutely outdated, an aesthetic of the 70 but not so nice… old.
One day we arrived at 3:00 in the afternoon and the room was not picked up.
On the other hand the hotel is very far from the centre and not very well connected.
We wouldn't go back in any way.

Upon arrival there was confusion on our already paid for reservation. The initial guy at the desk couldnt see it or didnt want to. But thankfully the lady at the back desk was able to help. (We emailed in and confirmed that we were coming in a day late) he was pretty rude in his quest and snarky. The hotel decor is 1970's, all wood… but its ok. Housekeeping is great at refilling each day. The restaurant manager/attendant (man with a vest) was a little rough in answering questions about Plasticware & microwave. (We needed both bc our family made us food for 1 night) but after we decided to not even eat at the hotel all together. The location is the best part. Its only a 30min walk to the main train station and in close distance to some pretty great restaurants. Gyro (mikos) & pizza & pastries. Of course! The rest of the staff was great after like day 2. Superb guest service. City tax you pay at end. And yes you can take food to your room. You can have room service. There is a fridge but no microwave.

Very convenient location along the way between the train station and the airport, near the major hospital and the city centre. Well connected by public transport and easily accessible from the highways.
Rooms very comfortable and spacious although still furnished years 70. Some, especially the high floors, with nice view. Good breakfast and comfortable parking though for a fee.
Bar too expensive.

Expensive Beware, not free parking On the website is not mentioned about the 12 euro you need to pay for the "hotel's parking" If it's the hotel parking, how comes is with tax.? You already payed the room. The parking needs to be free like in civilised countries At check-out, we were informed we had to pay " city tax, visitor tax " 11 euro per room. On the reservation nothing was mentioned about this tax and also when we checked in nobody told us about the tax In room is very cold, the hot air doesn't function properly. Plusses : — very clean -good and varied breakfast But I will certainly not return to this hotel.!

Friendly staff. We booked a double room and got a suite of the same price. The breakfast is great with many options.

We had a great room with a spacious bath and clean, the breakfast was really good;near downtown;the hotel staff it was very kind; the room had a view of the street and the sound of traffic it's disturbing.

Good location (centre can also be reached on foot in half an hour), great for business trip, affordable price.

Checked in and checked out of this hotel in 2hours. Room was disgusting, shower was dirty, dust in the room, toilet was not flushing properly. Hotel decor was left in the 70s. Checked into Portici Hotel instead and was very pleased. I would not recommend Grand Hotel Elite.

Nice hotel even if the room we got is small. My only gripe is the TV is useless as there are no channels getting through, and our bath tub has no side wall to stop the water spiking over. But overall, it is something I would recommend if someone ask me.

This hotel is more vintage. Personel are very kind and the room is very Clean and confortable. There two bus to Connect hotel to the centre of the city.

Well placed hotel not far from the center of Bologna and the airport. Staff very nice and friendly. Excellent Breakfast. Very nice room. I recommend.

Two things: 1. ) Breakfast isn't free You have to buy a package to get the 'free breakfast' which defeats the purpose of free. 2. ) Air Conditioning sucks If you're used to hotels with great air conditioning or even a celling fan, this hotel isn't for you, especially during the summer when I stayed. The first night ended up being a sweaty one for me and I had to open the window to alleviate the heat by a little bit but wasn't good as there was loud cars. Otherwise the hotel is pretty great although I haven't had a great night's sleep compared to other hotels that are well air-conditioned.

Room 611 was just right for the price. Free parking. Fine breakfast until 11 AM. No restaurant in April 2017.

Worst hotel ever! I had to pay 600 euro for only 1 night! The room and furniture where old, I had to push the toilet 5 times before iT flush, there is paint comming of the wall, molt in het corners of the shower and the bed is hard like a rock. When I asked them to somehow compromise this ridiculous high price for a room wich is not even worth half, they werent able to do anything because they say the manager wasnt avalibe. I think the manager whas to ashamead to meet me, beceause ofcourse they knew this 600 euro for the room is something scandalous! So, bad hotel and bad customer service When you have complains.

I stayed two nights at this hotel and I can only make a positive review. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean and provided both a bathtub and shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided us with a map indicadoci such as buses take, stops and more. In addition they also gave us a coupon if we wanted to dine at the hotel, but which I did not partake so I can't judge the meal plan. The location is pretty central so you can reach the various places to visit on foot. It is truly a great hotel so I recommend!

The hotel is 20 minutes walk from the centre and 30 minutes from the station.
The staff is friendly and have provided me all information to visit Bologna, Modena and Marranello serenely.
The room is spacious. The la decoration decoration in wood, I liked. The heater is adjustable. The bathroom is not small and is equipped with a shower.
The breakfast is very good.

ALL staff were excellent, most spoke English and were very helpful and efficient. The rooms are spacious with upgraded and renovated bathrooms, and the breakfast was 5 star with great staff.

Staff not very friendly. Checking input from 14h and the Wi-Fi signal in the room very poor. The room very well.

Very good hotel. Not exactly a 2 passi dal centro (2 km from downtown! ) but great service, very well organized. Very good breakfast Buffet.
only negative: the heating in my room was quite noisy. Soon the night could not sleep.

Wi-Fi is expensive, staff is very professional and helpful at all, very friendly, somewhat antique treatment and does not have great views, outdated and no channels in Spanish television. The best buffet this professionalized and ne does not lack detail, service practically got you everything and fresh. Price: very good.

I was there recently and it was good for the location for both the services provided by the hotel.

Excellent Hotel. 10 minutes from Piazza Maggiore and the other attractions which from the plaza can be walked easily. Very nice and helpful hotel staff; (at least the quadruple) rooms huge, clean and very nice, with a spectacular terrace, kitchen, two wardrobes and bathroom. At the entrance it has a bus stop that takes you to any place, either the Center as the train station or the airport. Preferred.

Wifi signal poor in the room. Expensive.
