Hotel Valle Verde

Fantastic location, directly on one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, excellent cuisine, cleanliness and courtesy make the holiday even more beautiful, we will definitely come back.

I stayed with my husband in the hotel in July 2021, great location, nice staff, hope to stay here again.

Excellent structure, clean and cozy, convenient location has services including private beach, excellent food. Suitable for everyone. I recommend it, its you have young than couples with children.

A well-maintained property surrounded by greenery 300 Mt from the sea with a fabulous pool. Gorgeous sea, private beach and beach bar run with professionalism and kindness. Mini club with Patrick that we will remember… Cute rooftop restaurant but food with ups and downs, sweet tops! The only negative note is the management of the room … very nice waiters. We'll be back soon.

First experience on the island of Elba, super positive! Very nice hotel, surrounded by greenery, quiet, clean rooms, room staff and reception always courteous and available for every need, great cuisine, varied and well presented! I really recommend it!

I came here with my husband on our honeymoon. We were supposed to stay two nights, but left after just one because it was that bad. We paid for half board each day but for some reason the restaurant didn't have a table for us despite us arriving on time for dinner along with everyone else. They then scattered, gave us incorrect menus, and it took forever to get service. The food was tasteless, disgusting, and even inedible. My husband couldn't actually eat his crab in his pasta. They gave him two crab claws in their shell without the tools to actually break the crab open with. When we went to bed we discovered that the mattresses had broken springs and felt like we were sleeping on plywood. I have had a better night's sleep backpacking in Yosemite and sleeping in 24°F temperatures on a rock. This was truly one of the worst hotel stays of my life and I travel Europe and North America frequently. I have a lot of patience, but this was truly unacceptable.

The staff — sometimes 2 or 3 people offer you a drink :-) A nice place and nice people.

Those travelers familiar with Maui who read this post (few, probably) will understand when I say that Procchio is the Kihei of Elba. That is, it's situated in a pretty central location, East to West, which makes it convenient. But it also doesn't have that much of a cultural center feel to it. It's a small place, with good hidden beaches. And the Hotel Valle Verde is a good place to stay there. We noted that there were many families with kids. There is a pool as well as a beach, and the parking is convenient, either above the hotel, or just below. There is a breakfast (and apparently a large lunch and dinner as well, although we didn't opt for that). But mainly, this is a great starting point for a trip to Elba. If you are traveling to Elba with kids, this is a good choice. If you are there on a romantic set of days, then maybe take a look at staying in Marciano Marina, or Marciano (up in the hills). Either of those two spots are easy to get to, though. Rent a car, or as we did, a scooter. It's all good.
