al 28 B&B

I had a short but very nice stay at B&B Al 28. I was warmly welcomed and felt really comfortable.
My room was beautiful, well equipped with an AC, Wifi, a TV, a couch, a big comfortable bed, a kettle and decorated with loving attention to detail. Also in the bathroom I could find everything I needed, like a hairdryer and enough towels.
I could also use the kitchen and take prepared sweet snacks (like muffins and croissants) and water. The kitchen contained also a coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave and a toaster for free use. Everything was very clean.
I was already in contact with Barbara, the owner, before my stay and she gave me advices concerning parking. There was also the possibility to arrive at the accommodation in the morning and leave the luggage there if the room was not yet ready.
All in all my stay was enjoyable, easy and uncomplicated.

We had a really great stay. There's a room that suits parents with kids. The AC was working well. Everything in the rooms and in the apartment was either very new or very well maintained. Wi-Fi was working well everywhere.
From the room we were in we could hear some street noises, but we got accustomed to those after the first night.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and prepared an outstanding breakfast every day. The shared microkitchen was usable throughout the day and there was enough space to dry clothes and towels on the shared terrace.
We always found a free parking space in the narrow side street behind the house, but even if it's full, there's some larger free parking lot not too far from the place.
The beach "Spiaggia delle Ghiaie" is in walking distance via an alley shaded by trees and with no traffic. There are plenty of dining places around the corner as well.

We had a really good stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is unbeatable. Barbara and her daughter are such lovely people. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Elba Island.

We had a wonderful stay at the Al28 in Portoferraio! Our room was super clean every day, Barbara was a perfect hostess and the breakfast was prepared with so much love. We really didn't want for anything, the terrace is totally great and you could also use the kitchen all day. Simply absolutely recommendable!

We spent 3 nights at Barbara's B&B in mid-September. It was a perfect stay. Barbara provided excellent guidance for parking, restaurants and the best beaches on a given day. Breakfast on the patio with beautifully made cappuccinos, homemade jams and sweets, yogurt and fruit was a perfect way to start the day. It's a great location with an easy walk to old town and the local beach. The B&B is stylishly decorated that oozes with charm. Barbara is a great hostess who makes you feel very much at home. We highly recommend Al 28 B&B.

Barbara, her family and the B&B were 5 star. We had a most wonderful stay in the La Relax room in July. We were in Elba when it was very hot and humid and it was always delightful to return to our airconditioned room to reinvigorate. Our bed was extremely comfortable, the room and its amenities were stylish and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was wholesome and there was variety every day. The coffee and along with the home-made sweets which were available all day was a real treat. Barbara was a wonderful hostess who helped us in many ways. The location is perfect, a short walk to the ferry, old town, harbour and beach. Barbara even provided a beach umbrella with our beach towels. If you come to Elba, this beautiful island this is the place to stay. You will not be disappointed.
