Villacore Capri

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Villacore in Capri, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The hotel itself exuded charm and elegance, creating a lovely ambiance for a relaxing getaway. The receptionist at Hotel Villacore deserves special mention for their exceptional kindness and helpfulness throughout my stay. They were attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction.
While my overall experience was positive, I must mention that it would have been beneficial to have been informed in advance about the 200 stairs required to access the hotel and the challenge of carrying luggage. At the price point of the hotel, it would have been a thoughtful touch to offer assistance in transporting our luggage from the port, making the arrival process more convenient.
Despite this small aspect, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Hotel Villacore. The picturesque views of Capri from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop for relaxation. The comfortable and well-appointed accommodations added to the overall experience, making it truly memorable.
In conclusion, Hotel Villacore in Capri is a wonderful choice for a memorable stay. With its charming ambiance, helpful receptionist, and stunning views, it offers an enchanting retreat on this beautiful island.

Villacore is absolutely amazing and fantastic place. The property is built on rocks so you have stunning view on the sea. Francesco who is an owner is extremely helpful and kind easy-going guy, he has also great aide, who is always there to help you and will prepare you delicious breakfast. Apart from that Francesco has normal prices and he has an offer for all groups, so you don't have to spend all your holidays' budget to stay in Capri. It is a great value for money. Francesco will also advise you where to eat to not to go bankrupt. I really love his normal attitude. If you want to stay in Capri, but you are not movie star or celebrity Villacore is the best possible place.

Fantastic Stay, we we’re very pleased at Villacore. Beautiful guesthouse walking distance to Capri town center, just the right distance to remain completely peaceful but not too far from the center where the restaurants and the entertainment resides. Yes there are a lot of steps but that was our experience of Capri, get ready to walk. Much of the island is pedestrian and we developed leg muscles that we did not know exitsted. We are not the most easy family to host, we have 2 crazy kids, one that plays football 24 hours a day but Francesco and Pat were very hospitable and helped us a great deal. I would recommend Villacore to families.

Beautiful Villa located in one of the most popular streets of Capri with breathtaking views of the faraglioni.

An enchanting place where the peace of Capri and its majestic beauty becomes for a few days "home" … a wonderful nineteenth-century villa immersed in the greenery of Capri a few steps from the famous Punta Tragara… The view of the villa on the stacks makes the holiday a postcard from good morning to good night 🌙 … And if you're lucky, the moon gives you the right light in the middle of the night!
Really everything perfect, impeccable management because when Francesco works he never does only his job, but lives a great passion!
Thank you very much for this wonderful stay … Because we come home with new friends!

We went in "Villacore" in May 2019 in "Laura junior room".
There are many lies written on the website: "Villacore – Luxury guest house in Capri” 
And also “… In 2013 it became the first luxury B&B on the island… "
There is no breakfast at all and it is very uncomfortable because the structure is 
Located far away from the center of Capri ("La piazzetta")
The first bar suitable to have a nice breakfast is located at a distance of 1 kilometer.
The stairs to reach the room (see the photos) are too many and uncomfortable. Badly light in the evening.

We visit capri regularly and have stayed at other places prior to discovering Villacore. The views are stunning from the terrace. The rooms well decorated and the colors fit the Villa perfectly. Francesco welcomes you and makes you feel very comfortable.

Please don’t book this ‘hotel’. Where do I start… It’s 136 stairs until you reach the hotel. The front desk person is lovely but speaks no English. Our bath mat was so dirty it stunk. The water pressure was variable in both heat and pressure to the point of no water to shower at peak times. The air conditioning formed a lake outside the door to our room. The hair dryer was broken, but they did supply a new one. Just don’t do it to yourself! Book elsewhere!

Unique experience. Kindness, professionalism and friendliness that combined with a breathtaking panorama make this place a fairytale place!. Just lovely ♥️ will definitely come back.
