My wife and I enjoyed an amazing two week stay at this superb property. Located at the heart of Capri it provides an ideal based for enjoying the many delights of the island. The decor and the attention to detail throughout the hotel is second to none. But the staff are what makes this extra special. Every single member of staff made us feel special. Nothing was too much trouble. The service was attentive without being intrusive. A heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you.

Beautiful hotel and the rooms are lush in size and pretty. Unfortunately the hotel didn’t warn us that our junior suite is above the hotel restaurant and lounge and it’s very loud. It’s definitely not peaceful it took us until 2am to fall asleep until the noise calmed down. So we laid there annoyed and tired. Also the bed squeaks so everytime we got in and out of it it makes an annoying noise. For the price of the hotel per night the bed should not be squeaking. This is annoying and not luxury.
For Breakfast they brought our food before our drinks and the bacon came about 5 minutes after the food was served. The food should come all together and drinks should arrive prior to food being served.
If you are looking for a quiet peaceful hotel this is not it. Service is more like a 4 star.

This hotel is one of them, no doubts.
The terrace is amazing, the interiors of the property have recently been renovated, and the position is one of the best!
The people working at the hotel really make the difference. Everybody went above and beyond our expectations, and we truly thank the young lady checking us in. Sorry we cannot remember her name. She was a true star.

Sharing a review of a horrible situation at La Palma in Capri and hoping readers can offer advice and help me find the other hotel guests that were robbed.
La Palma Capri is a strikingly beautiful hotel — centrally located, elegant, and designed to impress. I came here with my daughter expecting an exclusive five-star holiday. Instead, our experience was unsettling in a way no luxury traveler should have to face.
On our very first morning, I overheard another American couple in the lobby reporting stolen cash/property from their room. Rather than taking the concern seriously, the hotel staff insisted she was mistaken. Later, one staff member even dismissed her to me and said it was nothing. That interaction left me uneasy.
To protect ourselves, I kept the “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door during the day. In the evening, before going out to dinner, I deliberately set a small test: I placed a $100 bill in an easy-to-see pocket of my purse and concealed it within my luggage. I also while secured my wallet and the rest of my cash and belongings inside my a fully zipped carry on luggage. My daughter’s concealed her bag. My room was the last room at the far end of the hallway and I only left the lights on with the expectation of turndown service.
When we returned, my concerns were confirmed. My daughter’s purse was missing her cash.

My room was at the very end of the hallway — no one had any reason to pass by it — and I left the cleaning light on with the expectation of turndown service.
When we returned, my concerns were confirmed. My daughter’s purse was missing $100 in twenties. I checked my purse, and the test $100 bill was gone, along with additional money and items taken from a zipped purse inside my carry-on. This was not carelessness. This was theft.

Loved this hotel! Perfect central location. It has had a recent refurb and the interior is beautiful! The roof top restaurant was beautiful at sunset time! The bar on ground floor was the perfect spot for drinks, snacks and people watching. Within perfect walking distance to all designer shops, Italian cafes and restaurants. It also has its own beach club restaurant that they arrange shuttle to and from, extremely beautiful setting and very picturesque. Staff were all incredible. We loved the island and definitely will return to La Palma.

Our stay here was top notch! Firstly, the service was impeccable. Everyone was so nice and helpful especially the concierge desk who was so patient with me! Thanks to them I was able to find my lost items from the ferry. The rooftop bar is beautiful so dinner and drinks are a must. And you cannot beat the location of this hotel. It is literally right in the thick of it all. We loved our stay here and will be back!

By God, I didn’t just stay at Hotel La Palma—I descended into it like some dazed aristocrat returning to a forgotten inheritance. It was not a hotel. It was a hallucination sculpted in sunlight and silk. The walls whispered class. The air was perfumed with the scent of gold and fine citrus.
This place… it breathes elegance.
The design is not merely tasteful—it is surgical in its precision. Every archway, every tile, every gleaming brass fixture seemed to have been chosen by someone with the soul of Fellini and the budget of a Saudi prince. The atmosphere walks the line between Roman sensuality and Parisian restraint, floating effortlessly somewhere above the mortal plane.
And the staff—sweet Jesus. Gracious doesn’t begin to describe them. They glided, not walked. They anticipated my needs before I even had time to get thirsty or irritable. One could collapse in a heap of espresso-soaked joy and still be caught by a velvet-gloved hand offering a chilled glass of something French and expensive.
I’ve seen luxury. I’ve danced in palaces and raged in five-star bunkers. But this—this was exuberant transcendence. Hotel La Palma doesn’t just offer you a stay; it baptizes you into a cult of sensual ease.
Would I return? I may never leave.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in considering all hotels around the world!
The location is excellent and close to the market square.
Francesco and Florencio were top notch! They both offered the most excellent service with a smile! They made each day extra special.
Breakfast was incredible, the best French toast ever. Very gracious and kind staff.

We had the most incredible experience at this hotel. The service is outstanding and they go above and beyond at every turn. Our first room backed onto a school which we found a bit loud, so they kindly moved us and we loved our room. Every touch, from the decor to the food to the people were so memorable!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was such a wonderful stay!

Amazing! A designers dream. Every single detail is so thoughtful and helps create a beautiful and seamless guest experience. The first hotel in Capri but was recently renovated by an interior designer.
The location is amazing, in the center of a great area. We organized a transfer with the hotel to & from Capri. The service was amazing, a la Palma staff member was the first person we saw when we arrived to Capri & the last when we left. They made everything so easy.
The breakfast is exceptional!

We stayed here for 4 nights.
We stayed in a quiet room on the back of the building.
The view is not so great, but the service, the staff compensate all of this.
The attention to details at the breakfast made us feel like we were friends with everybody and a welcomed guest.
We will certainly get back.
The hotel has the best location in Capri (2 min from piazzeta).
It’s an iconic building which was renovated in 2023.
For sure in the next years it will become the most desired location in Capri.

I am travelling a lot and staying always in 5 star hotels but this one was not what I was expecting. One good thing is really friendly staff, dogs are allowed but the room which we had had a view to some building with trash bin it was always so noisy in the morning around 5 am they were doing something with glass, room was really small…. So I didn t like it at all also this island is nice but I recommend for 2-3 days max.

As soon as we arrived to the hotel we were told we would have to pay one extra hour for the private boat transfer, which we did not think was very polite the instant you arrive to a nice hotel, the welcome drink they offered us never appeared. We did call the hotel 3 times to tell them all the trains from Rome had been delayed so hence us too. Just tacky. Suite was fine. Small with one sink. New and clean. You could hear people walking on your head back and forth. There was also a leak in the hallway so men working there on two mornings and it was by the elevator and gym too. We were also told you needed reservations for the beach club and you had to pay for it, with a bill of at least 3 k a night you would think it’s included. The swimming pool is tiny, it looks much larger in the picture. The hotel is really in the mid of the town so any cruise ship tourist will go walking in a large group past it and it’s very crowded. One plus point Florentino our breakfast waitress was outstanding. Such a lovely lady. The breakfast was also lovely.

One of the best hotels my wife and I have been too.
It was the first holiday we have had without the kids. The attention to detail was unbelievable.
From the fittings and fixtures to the service.
Everyone was so helpful and couldn’t do enough.
At the pool they didn’t have pizza on the menu but we asked and they obliged.
We also bought a special bottle of wine and they let us open it at the restaurant.
We needed a casual restaurant on the last night for 20 of us! They not only booked it but took us there.
The breakfast is amazing.
We will miss all the wonderful people!

Do not look at another hotel, you have found the right place for your Capri experience. Every piece of Hotel La Palma is a moment and perfectly curated. We were there for our honeymoon which started roughly due to our airline losing my wife's luggage for several days. Once we arrived at Hotel La Palma our mood entirely shifted as we were greeted by the amazing staff, INCREDIBLE breakfast (included with your stay, don't need to eat anywhere else for breakfast), and just amazing accommodations. The hotel is perfectly situated in the center of town but is a relaxing retreat near everything. We are already recommending the hotel to our friends/family, and cannot wait to visit again. Incredible hotel, amazing memories, and couldn't be happier with our experience here.
