The location on the island and the view from the room we had is very beautiful. It's however an old building and rooms are completely outdated, renovation is needed. Also there was a nasty smell in the staircase and the bathroom. In the reception area we noticed a strong smell of dogs and cigarettes. I know Capri is a very expensive island and the price is reasonable fair compared to other accommodations, but serving crackers with jam for breakfast was a big surprise. That is not what to expect for breakfast. No bread, no savory sandwich toppings, just crackers, butter and jam. O yes, there were dry cakes to choose from and a good coffee was made for you on request. But this was out of proportion to the general disappointment for the non-breakfast. This hotel made me feel like a cheap youth hostel, although the price was a bit higher than what you would pay for a hostel. ;-) So never again in this 'hotel'.
