Casa Costanza

Just three rooms. I was given instructions as to how to check in on my own (I had paid in advance) as it was after 1 p. M. From the town square a long walk uphill because the roads are not motorable due to being too narrow. This is a routine feature in some sections of Capri and there are specially made narrow vehicles to deliver goods, remove garbage, etc. There are no restaurants close by and one has to walk up and down to the town square for all three meals. I was not told that breakfast can be provided at the 'hotel' if requested. So I am not sure of the addition to the name 'B&B' here is correct. Very good room, with an excellent bathroom complete with bidet and a towel heater. Large balcony with captivating view of the sea. A mirror in the room and a hand-rail near the commode would be helpful. No staff on the premises, but the owner could be contacted on telephone.
As I had only a few daylight hours the next morning to see Capri I engaged the services of a friendly taxi driver who spoke excellent English to take me round the island (both municipalities). He did a very good job of it and in three hours showed me all the places of interest for just Euro 100.

Stayed here 4 nights and it was amazing. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We spent some nights just sitting on the balcony and star gazing. The rooms very very clean and very comfortable. They were cleaned daily and refilled our espresso machine so we could make our own cappuccino and espressos in the morning. The host was very nice and welcoming during our stay. The location is very convenient to the main plaza and popular restaurants. Very easy to get to as well from the port as you can use the funicular train to the main plaza. Highly recommend!
