Relais Palazzo del Barone Guesthouse

Attended Chez Barone cooking school here and had a most memorable time. Of course the food was excellent, the instructions from Agnese and Salvatore where great, and the facilities of Fabio are wonderful. But you walk away thinking Agnese is the Italian mother you never knew you had! She is so jovial, caring and fun that she makes the experience 1000 times better! And you get to take all that knowledge (and recipe cards) back home. Thank you for a wonderful evening. It could not have been better.

My husband and I attending a cooking class and had a wonderful time. Momma Agnese was an excellent teacher and explained everything to us. The food was delicious. Agnese and Salvatore provided us with all the tools we needed to make these wonderful dishes including keeping our wine glasses full. Fabio was a wonderful host. His home is absolutely beautiful. He told us stories about his family history and about the local area. We had a great time and would recommend to everyone to attend a cooking class or plan a stay at their beautiful home.

Cooking class was a lot of fun and delicious food. Ground and building were gorgeous. Staff was incredible, views were amazing. I would highly recommend staying here.

What an amazing experience. Barbra, Fabio and the rest of the family and staff were simply the best. Here you feel like your a part of the family. I fell completly in love with this place. Best view in Sorrento, beautiful house, rooms, pool and garden. Everything was so clean and perfect. Food was amazing. The orangejuice the beat in the world. The service, the politeness, the warmth made this an absolute perfect holiday. Thank you so much Fabio, Barbra and all the rest. I hope to see you all again.

A royal palace with the best view on the Gulf of Naples! Barbara, her family, and the whole hotel crew are the most welcoming crew you can imagine. Wonderful breakfast with homemade cakes and local fresh products. Highly recommended!

Very, very impressive accommodation and hosts as so many have said in their reviews. We had the best time at Palazzo Del Barone! Barbara and her father Fabio were the perfect hosts, treating us as family from meeting and greeting us on our late arrival with 2 slices of Mamma’s cake in our room — a lovely touch, to the private dining experience with Fabio’s recommendation of wine and serving all home grown ingredients. The accommodation was immaculate and ideal for our stay — the room had beautiful views which included the lemon and olive groves, the common areas also very fresh and bright, and it was a pleasure to return to this quiet oasis after a busy day sightseeing. Barbara was always a call or text away, kindly recommending and booking Lo Stuzzichino where we had another delicious evening meal for which we were collected and returned to the Palazzo — amazing. We could not have been made more welcome and are very grateful to Barbara and Fabio for making our stay an experience we will never forget.

Fabio and his family were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. We were collected by Fabio and his wife on the ferry from Naples and given a beautiful introduction to the sights of Sorrento. The Palazzo is in a spectacular and unique location, in the hills around Sorrento, with gorgeous lemon scented breezes and amazing views. They provided restaurant recommendations and most useful, the number of a reasonably priced cab company. After being unable to get a bus to Positano, Barbara collected us and took us to the central terminal. When I became ill at the end of our trip, she drove us to the ferry port and consistently checked that there was nothing she could do for me, which was kindness itself. Not to mention Fabio's overwhelming desire to ensure we were properly fed. (The breakfasts were amazing! ) This level of consideration made our stay even more enjoyable than it may have been elsewhere. We are already planning a trip back with our families, we have never had better hotel service anywhere we have stayed. Make sure you ask Fabio about Gianluca's boat trips to Capri. This was the best thing we did on our trip.

Superb place with a refined decoration, room with large terrace overlooking the sea, warm welcome of Fabio and his daughter Barbara who speaks perfectly French, excellent breakfast for info, it takes absolutely a car as the place is a little eccentric.

A crazy charm, a delicious welcome, a view of the Bay of Naples and the superb Vesuvius, very pleasant rooms, and a perfect breakfast with a special price for the lemon Tart ' ' Deadly ' ' good. An address to remember and a advise + + + + + + + + + + + + + +

Splendid structure, cared for in detail, possibility of private parking, excellent cleaning, friendly and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet just as exquisite. Room with a breathtaking view. I will definitely return.

A really nice structure with private parking, beautiful view, owner friendly and very welcoming to make you feel at home, great breakfast prepared on time. What about it, pity not having been able to use the pool not being period. I will definitely.
