Wonderful place, Sorrento is necessarily in the places to visit as far as I'm concerned, clean hotel and very kind staff. The pool always clean and well cared for. Yummy food. Then there is Chiara at the reception who is more than a staff person always available and smiling and above all exhaustive in everything. In the room then you will find Marian and Lorenzo who more than waiters I would really define significant people for the structure, so kind that you will feel at home, I would go back for the place but above all for the beautiful people who work in this hotel. Thank you and goodbye❤️❤️

We stayed last year in this wonderful hotel, this year we returned what to say you never deny, excellent location with breathtaking views, food of a spectacular quality and representation, the staff and all the staff always available and friendly, the pool cleaning everything in its place all magnificent! special thanks vA to Nino! thanks for everything see you soon! we return home with Sorrento and the golden vue in the heart!

Staff, welcome, relaxed ambience and most of all not surprisingly, that "golden view". Oh yes and the foods good too 😀

Fantastic views great family hotel.

Arrived yesterday, so far this hotel deserves 5 stars, food great, views amazing, helpful staff. Room a little small, but the balcony makes up for it, it sets the bar very high and so far I cannot fault anything.

It was a beautiful experience beautiful hotel very clean and the staff amazing.

Hotels with fantastic views. Beautiful and classy structure. Clean rooms with all the comforts. Breakfast. Polite staff, clean and well-groomed pool. I highly recommend it. The only thing that is not good and that there is a snack bar service where everyone if they do not make full board can use a sandwich or toast, to review the dinner xke I did not like absolutely as mediocre. A 4-star hotel doesn't serve dinners like that. All the rest good. I highly recommend it. And I'll definitely be back.

Lovely view great location. A shuttle into town every hour. Older clientele here but everyone quiet and polite. The pool is wonderful ample chairs around the pool deck. Enjoyed it over all.

A lovely family friendly hotel with great staff who greet you all day and are helpful to the end. The rooms are clean and spacious with beds made and towels replaced every day. The views are stunning from the veranda and pool areas and the food is very nice.
A great place to stay and we will be back.

Beautiful family run hotel stunning views very peaceful its away from the main town but a courtesy bus runs every hour till late at night. Food is plentiful and good quality staff are fantastic Highly recommend.

Hotel la Vue D'or is a truly relaxing place to stay in Sorrento. As the name suggests it certainly has a 'golden view' of the bay and town of Sorrento far below. As the hotel is so high up it offers cooler temperatures than when down in the town. All the staff are very friendly and give off an air of calmness that add to the relaxing atmosphere. We stayed half board and the food was very nice with 3 choices for each course. The quality was good if sometimes a little bland. I feel the hotel is more suited to older couples rather than young families as there is no on site entertainment. This is my only negative. A little entertainment, if only in the form of of a piano player/ singer in the foyer may encourage more people to stay around the hotel in the evenings rather than everyone heading to town. The hotel offers a courtesy bus which regularly runs back and forth to town throughout the day and evening. (walking is definitely not an option). If you want a hotel to truly relax in beautiful surroundings then this could be the one for you.

The hotel was welcoming, clean, with excellent facilities. Situated up the hill in Sorrento, they provide a shuttle bus free of charge, it runs every hour up to midday, then has a break, and runs again every hour from about 3.30pm until 11.30pm. This means you are away from the noise and busy-ness of the main town. It's lovely. The facilities and fantastic, a lovely pool, and a deck full of sun beds. A good help yourself type breakfast is available and a three course meal in the evenings. The evening meals are very nice but a little basic, so we did choose to eat in town some evenings as a treat. The rooms were spacious, clean, with an ensuite & an excellent shower, and a lovely balcony with beautiful views of the hills and sea.

Very clean and well-organized property. The distance from the centre of Sorrento is largely counterbalanced by the breathtaking views and the punctual shuttle service allows you to reach the village without having to worry about parking. The pool is an added value, along with the kind and competent staff.

This was a brilliant holiday and a fantastic hotel, the staff were so friendly and helpful with great food every night. We loved the donkey below our balcony and the local rooster and dogs in the valley.
Sorrento was one of our best holidays and although we have just came back today, we will be looking to re book to this hotel again soon.

Lovely hotel! Rooms clean and tidy, we had balcony with stunning views of Sorrento and bay of Naples. Fab pool area, plenty of loungers. Resteraunt also had lovely views, both indoor and on balcony. Food was good without being outstanding, plenty of choice even vegetarian wife managed to find something to suit. Brilliant shuttle bus into Sorrento and back. Staff very helpful and friendly, Mostly British guests. Would definitely recommend.

We just dine in the resraurant! Fine dining in a kitschy cheesy setting but with a nice view! Pleasant Service Average Price.

Excellent restaurant and attention by the waiters. It has a magnificent view of the town of Sorrento and the volcano Vesuvio. Good prices.

Hotel well located, clean, free shuttle to Sorrento which stops in front of the hotel.
Restoration. Breakfast varied, too bad, no squeezed orange juice.
Evening meal served at the table choice between several appetizers, dishes and desserts. Good quality of the products. Very friendly Service (ooh Lala! Fantastic! ).
Some rooms (clean), have blankets and other duvets.
Very nice outdoor pool.

Great hotel with warm welcoming staff. The bus transfer to Sorrento is excellent and only takes 10 minutes. Views from the hotel are spectacular with a full panoramic of the bay of Naples.

Nice hotel in a stunning location with far reaching views across the bay towards Vesuvious, the rooms are clean although the beds are on the hard side. The negatives are being isolated even with the hourly free bus services into Sorrento and the food, it was probably cutting edge in the 80s, it tastes OK though.

We enjoyed our stay her very much. The staff are welcoming and the hotel is lovely and clean. The courtesy bus service runs regularly and the two drivers are great. I really enjoyed the swimming pool which was just the right temperature. The food was mostly really good and plentiful although lacking in vegetables we felt. All in all, a good holiday.

What a simply wonderful Hotel! The Views of the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius and Sorrento are to die for, rooms are clean, comfortable and ideal for the visiting tourist such as my wife and I. The restaurant food was quite inspiring. We were on half board and the evening menu was varied nightly and quite delicious. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Ideally situated for the easy courtesy bus into Sorrento (15 minutes) and all the tours arranged pick you up from the Hotel. The walk down is extremely pretty however be warned it is quite steep in places and your knees need to be in good working order. In the words of Tony the waiter it is 'Incredible and Fantastico'.

Sorrento is always Sorrento but the view from this hotel is really D gold.

Beautiful. As soon as I entered my home in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the rooms are clean and really fabulous, very scenic and I can assure you that the name is right!

A wonderful family run hotel and beautiful location. The only downside this year is the loud family who invade the the calm atmosphere by the pool.

My husband and I spent 5 days in this amazing hotel for our 1st wedding anniversary. We cannot recommend it enough for people who loves amazing scenery, an amazing friendly yet professional Italian team who would do everything to make your stay being a perfect experience. They are free shuttle going to and coming from the centre of sorrento every 30 minutes. Personally, I had staid at this place 14 years ago when I was a teenager and could not really remember the place but it had left me a feeling of a warm and caring atmosphere. I am delighted to say that it is that and so much more. So far, this place, Sorrento and the surroundings are my favourite places on the planet. Thanks you so much for making our stay so special.

Friendly family run hotel. All the staff very helpful. Good food served in the restaurant and plenty of it. Fantastic views of the Bay of Naples, Sorrento far below and Vesuvius in the far distance. Handy complimentary shuttle bus every hour to Sorrento and back. We would be happy to go back any time.

We are currently staying here in room 250. Every thing from cleanliness friendliness to helpfulness the staff cannot do enough for you. Views from up here are fantasico. We didn't book a room with a balcony but our room is modern and well laid out. It would have been nice to have a balcony with a view but I wouldn't pay the extra because you are not in your room long enough. All in all an excellent choice for our holiday.

Lovely staff, excellent location and fantastic views. Very welcoming and helpful staff in long standing family run hotel. Refurb has added rooms and an additional terrace. Rooms are comfortable and are reasonably spacious. The front of the hotel offers the best views across the Bay of Sorrento. There is a regular shuttle bus to take you to Sorrento centre. Breakfast is continental buffet style with hot choices as well. Evening meals are substantial and good selection over the week. There is a swimming pool with jacuzzi area and sunloungers on two terraced areas. Snacks are available during the day. Try the limoncello, a local speciality. Also the gin fizz with lemons from their own garden.

ABSOLUTELY ADORED THIS HOTEL! The staff is SO friendly, the views are spectacular, and the rooms are really nice (best hotel bathroom I've had in a long time). Would 100% recommend!

Good but a bit far from the Centre.

Just disappointed, our room not ready, have to change the next day, air conditioning fails, so warm room, we sweat the rest, and have supper has inside because none possibility to dinner out, no garden, and terrace too small, the world inside and in the heat, it was full all day and during all our stay of 11 days disappointed that neckerman offers this hotel vacationers because no rest, and not fun, except sorente, restaurant with fine green garden, …

We were just two nights, a little distant this is true, however with a shuttle service very good, clean, punctual, and then the beautiful hotel moderno con personale all'altezza on everything. When I can I will definitely be back. I recommend it!

Needless to say the pros! It would take too much time! the only drawback is the distance, that is forgiven by the magnificent full view sorrento and although we offer this beautiful landscape, are well connected and equipped with shuttle service! spotless, very kind, very cheap, competent and breathtaking! I regret not being able to enjoy the indoor restaurant for time problems. Breakfast was very tasty and delicious with huge selection! very good! VERY GOOD!

Family owned business. Friendly, helpful, clean place. All of the staff are amazing. Makes you feel like part of the family. You don't want to leave… The Hotel is located on a mountain with an incredible view that you cannot get enough of. Nino is a sweetheart! So is his mom and sisters! His baby girl is to die for!
