Possibly the worst holiday we have ever been on staying at the Conca azzurra on the cliff. We have used Thomas Cook for years and never experienced anything like this under their books. Rats running a long the ceiling in our annex building, one died in the air conditioning and let off an awful stench in our entire room and all down the corridor, we actually witnessed flies come out of the air con and they were dying on our personal belongings and laying maggots. Our whole entire suitcase and contents stank of the vile smell… rats running around the sunken open top hot tubs and sunbeds at the top of the cliff. To top this all off the beds were ridden with bed bugs and/or fleas, which was not only noted by me and my partner but 4 other guests in total… we got absolutely bitten to death it was disgusting! The last straw for us was going back to our room and seeing maggots on our pillow and over our duvet, after reporting this to reception previously and nothing be said but it was the bank holiday so nothing could be done we got moved to a single bed only to find it infested with ants! Enough was enough we did not sleep all night was on the phone to the Thomas Cook helpline early hours and as soon as it hit the morning we demanded to move hotel as there is absolutely no way on earth we was going to live with rats and sleep in an infested bed. A total of 6 hotel guests left that day due to vulgar hygiene issues.

Firstly Thomas Cook site is very misleading this is a 3STAR hotel and not 4 Star and they try to portray it as a 4 Star. This place is shocking. There was rats roaming around near jacuzzis at Conca Azzurra Cliff. There was rats running around in ceiling during night and sometimes in the day of bedroom we stayed in. Other holiday makers also complained about similar things. Fleas in the bed (Bedbugs). Food is terrible and very repetitive also not covered up properly. Thomas Cook charging 5 Star prices for 3 Star hotel. Entertainment is shocking if any at all. Other holiday guests and I asked Thomas Cook to move us to different hotel. Corridor of where we was staying smelt horrendous. The only highlight of hotel is the view from Sky Bar. Also a creepy member of staff who kept on trying to hit on my wife. Avoid this place and save your hard earn’t money for a decent place to stay.

We went there with a group of friends. Pool entrance with loungers and umbrella, possibility to go down to sea. Beautiful place on one side a steep mountain on the other the beautiful Capri. Not perfect organization and super crowded pool. Recommended Midweek days. At the bar you buy by card that you recharge and at the end of the day the return receiving the remaining balance, great idea. We had a great day.

Beautiful place but unfortunately it is not valued to the fullest.
Despite the price the environment is not selected.
There's not enough attention in the details, dirty bathrooms and locker rooms, tables dedicated to self-service customers occupied by people bringing food from home, kids using poolside to pee. All this caused by the incivility of the people for this the staff should be more vigilant!

Location is good if you want to be completely isolated. Can't walk anywhere really, need to take the free shuttle bus to go into Sorrento. Pool is shared with the locals and the "beach" is a rocky pool, no sand. Evening entertainment is just a guy playing the piano, which gets boring after 2 songs. Staff is very attentive and supportive though. Food is buffet style, good enough.

Only 3 days Into out stay and we are loving it. The staff are wonderful and are making our holiday very relaxing. Food is excellent and so is the service. The whole place is spotless and rooms are light and airy. We are talking about booking again next year. Don t think about it just book it!

A downright run down and miserable looking place that used to be local sports Diving Centre. They've sort of converted into a 33 bedroom all inclusive resort. Thomas Cook have used us as Guinea pigs last week. Sad looking place with no beach, all big rocks and boulders, dull scenery and drop of 112 metres from the main road. The coach cannot get down the winding road so they drop you at the top. From here you transfer to mini bus that meanders dangerously down the narrow road with 13 bends. The bus has to reverse over six bends to negotiate safely. Once down it was a great disappointment with drab looking pool and clutter everywhere with no regard to health and safety. The food and drinks are good and staff very helpful but no Wi-Fi in many of the rooms as promised! Nothing to do at the resort. So get out if you can to half an hour drive to Sorrento or two hours of hell drive to Napels with horrendous traffic. Bad value for money!

I absolutely can not find fault with this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful they will do anything they can for you. The location is gorgeous, lovely and peaceful, the food is great, wih plenty to choose from.

Love the hotel. The staff are so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. It's great having the shuttle. We went to Sorrento today and was lovely. Rooms are clean tidy and have everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Would love to come back.

In general place is good but there is no entrance to the see, all big stones. In the main pool there is a lot of children and can be disturbing for all adults and no one of lifeguards do not pay any attention for children behavior which is terrible. We made a lot of notices to children and no one even apologized. A lot of sunbeds are broken so for entrance fee they could be replaced.

It is self evident the lack of maintenance and so go on with bad management, very high price per person (18 €) without services, once inside nobody will help you to find a place were to sit even to find sunbeds. The beaches are seriously unsafe especially for babies and old people, big rocks impede your passage through the water. Such a shame for that beautiful location.

Amazing place, clean, great pool (3 in total). No beach but rocky shore but accessible for swimming. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food amazing with chef Angelo in command. Lovely roof terrace for watching amazing sunset every night. The only downside is they don't have great coffee! It's a automated coffee machine that dispenses not very great coffee. Hotel should have proper coffee machine or at least filtered coffee. Luckily there is a beach bar where you can get a great espresso. Free transfers to sorrento each day. Overall great holiday.

Not even trying to remedy the lack of field of many telephone providers by offering free Wi-Fi! Half-seized structure, closed showers, parasols without Pagliarelle and not even available for a fee… In last rude staff allegedly underpaid… Constant and unstoppable decline view the decaying property!

The food was amazing and the staff very helpful. They all speak good English which is helpful for people new to the country. The views from the clifftop part of the hotel are spectacular and your only a five minute drive from the lovely town of sorrento. Many of the people we met were here for their second or third time and it's not hard to see why. Only downside would be a lack of activities for young children so keep that in mind if you have a family, otherwise it's great.

Outstanding sea, good for the family, has a swimming pool with salt water.

The sea is fantastic and the beach equipped and clean. Unfortunately, I continue every year to experience the usual two major shortcomings: no Wi-Fi for guests of the plant (absurd considering the price of inputs) and the inability to pay by card (really believe that in 2016 it may pay admission for a family of 5 persons – 60 € — only cash? ).

Definitely want to go there when it is uncrowded, since not all attending are polite and quiet. For the rest the only serious deficiency was the absence of a Wi-fi which reach up to the lido area, saw that the Bay is not covered by the cellular network.

We love. Staff d a very great service qualities the food very good. Drinks. Especially in all inclusive. For the quality of the drinks. Jacuzzi sea location, beautiful pool facilities I recommend this hotel.

12th August 2011, My partner and I stayed at the Conca Azzurra Sea Club and I must say after travelling widely for many years this Hotel was a wonderful experience the staff were everything you could want cheerful, helpful and polite. The food was divine and when I say divine I mean for all three meals in the day. The place is clean and for the price extraordinary, superb. Perhaps the entertainment could have been better but even so it was very relaxing. We will return and soon I hope.
