Nice rooms with a view of the coast. Wi-Fi is spotty, depending on your room location. Staff doesn’t know English — a bit hard to communicate with. The shower, like most showers in Italy, does not come up to our showers in the United States.

Lovely place overlooking the sea. The Spa suite is truly a cuddle. The service is impeccable. The dinner in the room was spectacular. Ideal for a holiday, but also just to unplug.

We stayed a few days ago at this hotel unfortunately at first glance everything was perfect but practically for 2 nights they did not sleep because they had the right breakfast room on the room located on our room so our alarm clock was around 6am with hallucinatory noises… the sheets are not replaced for 2 days which even the B&Bs do not happen …

This property is really amazing, everything is perfect!
Parking is guarded, Excellent staff always at your disposal; wonderful rooms overlooking the Gulf clean and well sanitized and courtesy sets will wait for you in the room. The sweet/salty breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the sea and the beach is accessed with the panoramic elevator that leads directly to the beach. What about it? All absolutely flawless, it was two fabulous days.

Great boutique hotel in Salerno between the village and town. Nicely appointed, good service. Responsive staff, large beach warm water. Restaurant was very good for dinner. Fabulous views.

It features. Jna very nice beach and terraces on. Sea with restaurant bar and pizzeria. The only defaiance is that it doesn't have much staff at least by day. But it's a beach in town and that pays for everything.

We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel. All the staff were great, accommodating and very friendly. Rooms and amenities are enough to satisfy your needs. Highly recommended…

Missing shelf, broken electric plug socket, broken shower floor, old furnishing, unsafe door locking mechanism… and much more for more than 160€ p. N.! The beach club right in front of the Hotel is maybe fun but definetly not when you want to sleep. All in all, this hotel deserves not 4 stars just because of the nice view and friendly staff.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is an outdated sorry excuse for a hotel. All the rooms smell like gasoline since there is a HUGE COMMERCIAL PORT right in front of the hotel.

We celebrated our wedding at this location on Saturday. We met her looking on the internet but when we saw her live we fell in love. It is a magical place, refined, elegant with a spectacular view; great food and great professionalism from all the staff. Thank you for making this day unique.

Wonderful panorama but apart from the kindness at the reception by some and from the parking attendants, very rigidinin in the dining room, very poor breakfast (cold cappuccino and stale croissants) and set menu for those who made half board with possibility to request extra for a fee long waits between the courses and following repeated reminders.
Exorbitant the price of the ore from cl 0.75… 5 euros per bottle. They went down there with a heavy hand.

The staff are friendly, but in the beginning settled into a room much more modestly paid by us, and with a view of the port. Breakfasts are modest, if not to show off, that is, from which to choose, yogurts, mussoli, omelet, slicing, fruits, vegetables, pastries, coffee, milk, tea. The beach is small pebbles, sunbeds, bars. In the evening the music from the beach, where there is no one, is very loud. If you close the door, you're going to make it. Kids aren't here. And adults can sleep, because in the "city" except for the lemoncellka, too, no entertainment. We have to get out of place.

Beautiful scenery, worth relaxing. Salad potatoes are fried to a pretty good taste. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the room is not enough to bathe, take the elevator to the beach is cool yo.

Absolutely great structure. I was there on the occasion of a wedding and was excellently impressed with both the food and the service. Although the rooms are on various levels, it is easy to move even for those who have difficulty walking. The top remains the bathing establishment of the structure: Despite being close to the port of Salerno, I have not seen major problems of water quality.

Shared experience.
The +: very nice private beach, a very nice view from the bar, the breakfast room, clean, served by the buses, good restaurant.
The —: do not come to rest, parties take place 1 day on 2 (until 5am), you are not warned more so it's the surprise, not welcoming staff, for many rooms view on the harbor very active.
I would recommend this hotel for a young couple who is looking to have fun at night and lazy day. Me being more to enjoy the heritage and posing at night quietly this place is not suitable for me.

Cafoni of Avellino have appropriated a something not their own. A wall to divide the beach "VIP" from the free one. Until a few years ago you were with the M * * * * at the c * * * mo the VIP beach.

Beautiful rooms, good customer service, right on the beach, though the beds were a bit uncomfortable and pillows were too soft.

It was not an optimal stay.
The hotel is renovated but the location on the harbor makes it noisy and certainly not romantic. Clean, but better suited to congresses than to stays. Good food, nice staff, but poorly organized.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, gorgeous view, short walk to restaurants and shopping, nice breakfast overlooking the sea. Since it is a shoulder season visit there was some work going on down at the beach level, but we were never disturbed by it. We saw fireworks from Salerno around midnight. Beautiful place!

When we got to our room after a long ferry ride and then taxi from the beautiful Positano with my daughter, I literally could have cried. Firstly, the noise in the foyer was penetrating as construction work going on. We had to go underground 2 floors where we were left by the porter who was supposed to be showing us to our room. We then had to change into a different elevator to go below another 2 floors, this was creeping us out. We got out of elevator on floor — 4 and had to walk down a long creepy hallway to find our room. We opened the door and literally could not believe it. We were gutted, after paying $152 AU per night. My daughter went to open balcony door and it fell off. She had to balance it so it didn't hit the ground. The walls had holes and were peeling in places and the room smelt musty. The room was disgusting, old tacky bedspread, old dark bathroom and really depressing. Tried to ring reception and couldn't get through. We immediately grabbed our cases and went back down to reception where I expressed my absolute disgust. After acting like they had no other available rooms and pretending to go furiously through bits of paper for 10 minutes we were taken to another sub standard room on level 1. He explained this as our 'free upgrade'. This room looked to have been renovated 10 — 15 years ago and overlooked the very noisy port. Fridge had goey yellow fluid in it and cleanliness not up to scratch with only two flat pillows.

As we were traversing to Sorrento, we stopped over here for a coastal scenic photoshoot with my parents. It was love at first sight with the Amalfi coast and rugged hills obscured at the background. Definitely visiting here again.

A Location for nothing flexible! I booked for a wedding and unfortunately it failed my father in law. We had to cancel because they were not willing to move the date. The mourning of a person does not matter anymore, they only reason in money. Although I understand the reasons that a hotel has to secure its own, I still think that a bit of humanity in the face of a sudden death, even of the father of the bridegroom, is the least. They didn't even offer us a coffee. That quarter of an hour to visit the structure I came to cost 2500 euros, with all that still missing 10 months to the wedding. They had already prepared… This is Italy. This is the Lloyds Baia Hotel.

This is a well-known and elegant hotel overlooking the sea. Internally it is very refined and cared for. It is often a conference venue as it is made up of several fairly large conference halls. The restaurant room is very nice, the view is breathtaking since from the windows you see all the sea and the coast, the food is great and fresh. They are equipped and prepared on gluten free and vegetarian food. A big negative is that the parking is small so often you have to park from the side of the harbor and then you have to make an unsupervised route to take the panoramic lift, built in the rock, which leads to the hotel. This route especially in winter is very uncomfortable.

Structure located at the beginning of the coast between Salerno and Vietri. Many cozy environment with private parking and well organized despite the conformation of the Amalfi Coast. Rooms in modern style with the right combination of functionality and a reminder of the typical place where the ceramic assumes a predominant appearance but with a careful style. Spacious and comfortable rooms with large bathroom and all comforts. Good and discreet service. All the stars you deserve.

Wonderful and ancient hotel on the coast, on the beautiful Gulf of Salerno. Ideal for weddings, ceremonies, congresses. I was there the first time 40 years ago. I came back recently and it always lives up to expectations.

Panoramic structure located on a cliff Apicco on the port of Salerno, elegant, charming, courteous, professional and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, restaurant service and discreet snacks, good coffee, functional parking. Unique Neo rooms with a look dated and outdated furnishings and bathrooms of the old and poorly preserved rooms not in line with the charm of the structure, other than the discourse regarding the rooms of the upper floors renovated and finely furnished.

Tomorrow ends our holiday. It's the fifth time we've been back. A 5-star hotel. Good cook and pastry chef. The waiters Roberto and Alfredo are very available. Good all keep it up. Annalisa.

Located just a few steps from the centre in a magnificent sea view location. It has spacious and comfortable rooms equipped with a private balcony overlooking the sea and a beautiful terrace with the entire panorama of the coast and with private access to the beach below. Offers a free shuttle service to Salerno. The large and spacious rooms are enriched with tiles and mosaics typical of the Vietrana process. Very good breakfast Foods for Celiacs are provided. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Panorama but not for all the rooms (some overlook the harbor). The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is well stocked and the buffet lunches great and plentiful. The rooms are rather outdated (that second floor specimen are renovated). The mattresses definitely dated. The Wi-Fi at flashes is fine but generally it's pretty slow.

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. At first the place is nice enough, it's pretty and decently clean. The room wasn't anything special but it worked. It definitely wasn't worth eating dinner there, the food was bland and the staff just seemed annoyed Nour room had a balcony with a view of the port. It wasn't sure pretty to look at, which is fine, but it was kinda da noisy. Saturday night was horrific. There is a disco right outside the hotel that plays music louder than anything I've ever heard. The hotel can do nothing about it. We called and complained so they moved us to an inside room, at this point it was 3am. The new room smelled like mold and and cigarettes, but at least it was quiet I guess. We checked out as soon as we woke up. Definitely don't recommend this place.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Staff is annoying, bed is uncomfortable, we felt buggy all night and we stayed on a Saturday into a Sunday. From midning to 5a, the Disco place downstairs plays Italian "house" music. I didn't know that type of music could get any worse. It was honestly soooo loud! Didn't sleep all night. Please, don't stay here.

The view very good the rooms we touched the Nunero 339 bad fungus on the bathroom ceiling and the air conditioner very noisy impossible to put it.

Elegant hotel with access to a beach though it is difficult to get to the beach. Difficult ultimate to get around in the hotel also.

Location I'm not suggesting we stop here! The staff is not hello, does not answer questions, frankly hamit in the face. The numbers are false. Breakfast was very expensive. The smell of dampness in the rooms and hallways. The air conditioning is adjusted to the room: the way they think it will be-either freeze or the heat dies. View of the cargo port. The complex logistics of Premeshheniju at the hotel, first in one elevator, then crossing the hallways and another elevator. Under the windows, the noise from the port and the bar.

I was in the Vietri room for a contest. The hot looks very good, elegant, courteous staff. At the reception there are also those who speak other languages, besides Italian. The structure is very elegant, finished with ceramic interiors. Also the bathroom is stylish hahahah stunning views of the sea.

A lovely place. Here I was passing a few years back for a business lunch and I remember having eaten well. Today we returned to celebrate a wedding and we really ate divinely, of course seafood specialities. The panoramic lift provides quick access to the private beach for hotel guests. The outline is a magical frame, in which every moment is special. We will be back…

Lloyds was wonderful. Such accomodating friendly staff the food was good quality and we stayed in one night and had the seafood pasta OMG amazing… will definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it. Close by to the Famous Vietri Ceramic hand made markets its over looking a fabulous view and harbour.

I will be reviewing this hotel as a place to stay for your vacation in Salerno, not as a conference/party place. The positive reviews seem to be focused on that. The bad parts: 1: Rude/callous personal, uninterested and unhelpful. Don't believe them if they say they can help you with basically anything. 2: Sub-par breakfast. 3: Discos with fireworks during weekends, meaning, you can't sleep between 23:50-05:00 during the weekends. (Bring along an inflatable mattress and sleep in the bathroom if you do want to). 4: Poorly maintained rooms with lots of beauty spots. Our toilet seat was very wobbly and the bed was not only hard but also obviously quite old and worn-down (sunk down in each part of it). 5: The beach lunch restaurant was very unprofessional with very uneven service, no concept of wanting a joined meal (for instance, I got my dish 20 minutes before my wife and they didn't even understand why we where displeased). 6: Almost constant bustle from the nearby harbor, all day and night. 7: They where rebuilding large parts of beach, both noisy and ugly. 8: Without saying anything basically anywhere (we tried looking), they charged 10 Euros per day extra for access to the beach per person, which would be fine if they actually mentioned that this was the case. When we asked in the lobby where it said they only said that "It says nowhere that it is included.

They charge extra for the beech without any information about this at the website. They also have a part view over a busy harbour that make noises at night. Oh and to top it of they regurlary have fireworks and loud parties/discos on the weekends that makes it impossible to sleep (not any info about this at their site of course). The breakfast was good though. This is more a conference hotel for the italians and not a good place to be as a tourist. The good reviews on the internet mostly comes from restaurant guests and the people attending the parties and not from the actual hotel guests.

Bad service. Not fully functioning yacuzzi, noisy construction work and noisy partys. The only plus is the view (if you look to the right, to the left there's a big ugly harbour with noisy ships loading on and of). The restaurant on the beech was taking the wrong prize, served the courses so that me and my husband had to eat separatly with no excuse. We will definetly not recommend anyone a visit here. Every hotel I had visit I would like to return to but not the Lloyds Baia Hotel. Oh and the matresses is really worn down.

Buona location, bella vista sul mare. Cibo all'altezza. Buffet ben organizzato e senza file. Personale cordiale e professionale. Tempi un po' lunghi tra le portate. Esperienza nel complesso molto positiva.

A good three-star place, doesn't meet the expectations of a four-star hotel. Well-equiped, yet sort of old-fashioned.

I got married on September 22, 2015 at Lloyd's Baia Hotel.
The wedding was held at the terrace of the hotel Beach bahai ceremony. Firstly, a big thank you to Dr. SSA Mackinnon for his professionalism and expertise, Dr. SSA Fasulo Annachiara which followed step by step the administrative stages of the event as wedding account and finally a big thank you to Dr. SSA Petillo, as wedding department for the beautiful outfits treated in detail for both the bahai religious ritual on the beach that Imperial dinner on the terrace. Elegant, beautiful and particular arrangements have created a fairytale area where we were married almost starring unaware of such beauty. Thanks would very many but we limit ourselves to name but a few: in the first place. The maetre that with grace, elegance and expertise has followed the steps of the entire dinner, the chef to prepare elegant dishes, a pastry chef who with us decorated the wedding cake, the waiters who so kindly and politeness were served all the guests to satisfy every request. A big thank you to the staff dedicated to security that with graceful supervisors have checked that everything was under control by accompanying guests from the solarium terraces. A reception that competently and graciously answered our needs. Finally, a thank you to all of them for the professionalism, passion, earnestness and elegance that made our wedding unique and special. Soraya and Mariano De Rosa Pagan.

The other week I got back from a vacation, spent with my husband at your hotel, located by the sea with breathtaking views, close to Salerno to all most popular destinations including the Islands. In every department we have always found staff very friendly, courteous and helpful to our request for information, especially a valet parking which we turned often to get directions. Also, one thing that we were very satisfied is the restaurant, the menu was varied, plentiful, well presented and with good ingredients,
Surely, when we return to Salerno will stay at this hotel again.

Impossibility of parking, you have to go to Park 4 km away and then up to the elevator;
At 14, 30 room not ready and closed restaurant;
Room booked 4 months paid plenty before and at the front desk you propose to add other €. 30, 00 to get a better room, incidentally without seeing one booked;
Well. I leave your bags at the desk for something to eat in the Center, but considering everything I decide not to spend the night, because of the staff had already unwell enough. Go get your bags in the back of the desk without saying anything and nobody notices.
Nobody calls you on the phone to say "what happened? " the most important thing he has paid handsomely.

Great beach front location and with elevator down to the wonderful private beach. Only downside was no Wi-Fi connectivity in the room and not to exciting breakfast buffet.

Nice property but uncomfortable for going overboard awkward to have breakfast AC not working dead hot but you know how to pay.

Like every year I Roman personages in this wonderful Hotel, thank you all for the hospitality, professionalism and seriousness.
For the place we would say only that it is extraordinary, seems to live in another world.

I had a beautiful weekend in a Seaview room gorgeous, to repeat and encourage my and family.

Overlooking the port of Salerno. The panoramic terraces, cosy the whole environment, rooms directly overlooking the beach below with panoramic balcony, thin walls therefore are Alas the noise neighbours ' conversations by preventing the rest and maybe vice versa.

ELEGANCE and friendliness
Stayed with family in this beautiful hotel, to celebrate my 50 years, spent three days between elegance and friendliness of all the staff that answered every small request or requirement, the total availability, outstanding cleanliness, certainly will return to spend days in a spectacular spot, with outstanding view. It's an experience that I recommend to try.

While not a direct visitor to the Lloyd's Baia Hotel (In that hotel. I reside in Salerno), I attend all year round the beach and I can, therefore, observe the satisfaction of its customers, both Italian and foreign. Almost all of them highlight the services offered and their associated equipment. As an example we can mention:
1) rooms with all comforts, which include beautiful openings on the Gulf.
2) refined cuisine, enhanced by the recent initiative "King Earngurn".
