We received a very warm welcome here, the host is lovely. She also contacted us before we arrived to make sure all was well which was a nice touch. The room was a little unusual, the top of the wall between our room and the entrance hall was made from glass blocks and there were no curtains on the main window, so our room was never dark which made sleeping difficult. The bed was extremely soft — me and my girlfriend kept rolling into eachother during the night as a result. There is air conditioning but it is very weak and very VERY loud — it created a sound reminiscent of a howling gale. The bathroom was a little bit grimy in places and the shower head was broken. Someone came around to drop off the host's children (I think? ) and they were making a lot of noise/running about until around midnight which I wasn't too impressed with. We were asked what we would like for breakfast and this was brought to our room so we could eat in privacy. Overall I would say that if the above issues don't bother you then this is a good value place to stay for 1 or 2 nights, but for longer stays I'd recommend finding a hotel. The location is around 10-15 mins walk to the Pompeii Ruins so very convenient. Limited parking is also available.
