We got married at the Mec on June 16, 2022. We can say that the Mec is a guarantee… everything perfect, impeccable, 5 stars. They accommodated all our requests and met our needs… everything went beyond our expectations. Impeccable service, abundant and high quality food, modern and well-kept spaces and furnishings. They gave us a fabulous day in a fabulous location. The next day we were still pampered and followed with the same passion, without neglecting anything. Beautiful hotel modernly furnished and refined but the carpet in the corridors not very clean so the windows the restaurant inside quite expensive good breakfast not too assorted could be improved for the rest I would say excellent garden cared for and well furnished cozy rooms.

Excellent friendly staff quiet rooms, clean and with great views, 5 star breakfast we will return as soon as possible taken care of in detail thanks to everything.

Really nice and well-maintained structure. Polite and helpful staff. The pool is great, the solarium with hot tub is great. Well the bar and outstanding restaurant. Beautiful outdoor spaces and very good even the contracted beach.

We got married here yesterday and it was all perfect and wonderful. The staff is qualified and of a high standard and the lady Marietta is helpful and kind. The food is delicious. Thanks to them we had a feast, fresh, and organized to the smallest detail! I embrace all!

Despite reading some worrying reviews before we left England, we have had a fantastic stay. Beautiful room, very friendly staff, fantastic facilities and excellent food. There are added expenses if you want extras but I think that's true of most hotels.
There were some weddings/parties during our stay which were loud at times but this did not cause us any inconvenience. Although the main pool is out of bounds at weekends from mid afternoon, the cherry pool (a spa pool) and bar is open.
We were greeted for meals every day by the restaurant staff, who very quickly remember your room number and preferences.
Staff were also more than happy to organise excursions for us and nothing was too much trouble.
Overall a fantastic stay.

We had a fabulous holiday here. I loved the quirkiness of the hotel. The staff were wonderful. In particular Cosimo at reception, Gabriella, Germino and our dancing maitre. All generous of spirit & their time.
We loved the weddings, as it gave us a daily fashion show & wow the Italians certainly go to town.

AVOID THIS HOTEL! This is a venue for weddings and party’s. They don’t care about the guests staying as the weddings pay more money. Most staff are soulless as is the hotel. They never inform you of anything. You have to vacate the pool between 130pm and 4pm so wedding pictures can be taken and music last way into the night with little or no sleep. Complained and they just shrug their shoulders. There is also nothing to do locally here. Do not book if you want a normal holiday.

Beautiful location, just next to the beach. Really nice facilities, friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable bedrooms. The food served in the restaurant and at breakfast is alright, but not amazing. The decoration at some spots is of doubtful taste.

In ogni visita il Mec Paestum da sempre il meglio di sé: cibo ottimo, location incantevole. Sono stato ospite della struttura per un matrimonio ed é stata una piacevolissima serata. Purtroppo non ho avuto modo di visionare le stanze ma l'ambiente era veramente elegante.

Italian starring system very different to rest of Europe. This is just a wedding venue and staying weekend here is very noisy because of this; 4 weddings on over weekend stay. No towels for pool area or beach and 22 euro for rental of loungers where you are restricted to where you can sit in beach club. Breakfast not bad but overall disappointing experience. Dinner option is a poor set menu and not a great choice of restaurants in the area. Beach is very nice — car recommended if staying here as well as an Italian dictionary.

Location was amazing, the service perfect and etficient, the quality of the food may be a little bit improved (fish based dishes).

Great resort with good facilities and plenty of space, also right next to the beach. Room is great, clean, spacious and comfortable. It would be good if it had a gym and a spa. The food is ok but not amazing, also €6 for a small ham and cheese toastie is expensive. Would highly recommend to come for peace and relaxation but it is in quite a remote location so if you want more liveliness try elsewhere.

Great facility. The location is very nice as well as the interiors. Very close to the sea, 5 min walk, with private establishment. The room is large and spacious, modern. In my opinion can improve the quality of the mattress, not really at the top as you would expect from a 5 star. Great Kitchen, a la carte menu with well made dishes.

I Don't know who writes that the food is great but after having been to so many weddings in various locations I can say it is the worst where it has been. The property is also nice but the restaurant is bad, food poor, fish old and dishes tasteless and lacking in culinary sense, to add a service to nothing of the best. I Can affirm that I would not marry or celebrate any party in such a hotel, nor would I ever go to dinner for my delight, even if it were the last hotel on Earth.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights, loved the welcome, great cleanliness. We also had a whirlpool. In The evening we had dinner, at the moment choice appetizer First second dessert strictly fish. Super Breakfast. I will return.

For years now a quality assurance as well as innovation of the service and the premises. Because even the eye wants its part! Stay or important event, the MEC PAESTUM HOTEL will be the right port.

Luxury Hotel with nice and qualified people. The rooms are clean and equipped with all the comforts. This hot tub. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. In addition to the sea you can bathe in the large swimming pool of the hotel. The impeccable cuisine is the chef's delight every day with refined dishes and the typically Mediterranean flavour. Recommended.

We relied on them for our wedding banquet there are no words! The 5 stars are a guarantee but the name Acanfora is another planet we felt family people, friendly, soceful but above all impeccable! A fabulous staff attentive to everything from pouring water to the smallest details simply phenomenal thanks to everything. But above all x have made our perfect day! Going back I would do the same choice Thanks.

For our yes we could not choose better. From the first meeting Nicola and all the staff were available to comply with our requests and helped us make our wedding a fairytale day. Despite having almost 200 guests the food was of the highest quality, the service fast and attentive to all kinds of needs, the staff discreet and efficient. All this allowed us to receive compliments from all the guests and allowed us to enjoy, without a thought, our celebration.

One of the best accommodation facilities in Paestum. Completely renovated in recent years, the Mec Hotel has beautiful outdoor areas with garden and swimming pool, as well as a swimming pool with whirlpool system on a raised terrace. Inside tastefully decorated restaurant rooms that can accommodate several hundred people. On the top floor roof garden with panoramic restaurant room. The rooms, all elegantly furnished, are equipped with all comforts. Private beach and parking complete the services available to guests.

A really nice structure, design elements embellish the various floors. Friendly room Good breakfast. Very comfortable parking inside.

One of the best hotels on the coast between Capaccio and Agropoli. I got to attend two weddings in this location and it always went all to perfection. I can't congratulate myself.

Conclusions
I imagine, as it should be, that prices are high in bathing season. It turns out to be super required in the 7 months of spring/summer/autumn activities so I recommend to book it in time.
A pity that the roads to get there are disaster but the hotel is impeccable.
It is very spacious with ample dining rooms, the ideal place for ceremonies.

I'm getting married on September 12th, and today we did the menu test. The structure is wonderful, elegant and refined, the staff courteous and attentive to every detail. The owners are the best of kindness and have a great deal of availability in satisfying every need. You eat very well and also the courses are presented in a refined way! I would choose another thousand times!

On the 26th of September 2017 is married to my brother in this wonderful hotel. I thank all the staff for the wonderful reception from the beginning till the end of our stay a dream worthy of five stars! Staff very helpful and friendly, rooms very clean and our corner of paradise was the Cherry pool, where we spent most of the time. Then the fairy tale wedding of my brother, it was all wonderful and magical, a fairy tale almost. Thanks to the family acanfora for making this day special and memorable.

The Paestum mec lido is the top of the top… I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a great day of relaxation… Fun… And much more… and the staff always available.

Very average "5-star" hotel. Nice staff but a hotel made for weddings not guests. Breakfast is pretty shocking. Not enough sun loungers around the pool and it frequently shuts due to wdddings.

Definitely a 5 star restaurant, the pool closed at 7, but I think it was because of a wedding. I would definitely try it again. It's very close to the sea, and also the Paestum ruins.

Great I loved it. The staff is friendly and the views are literally amazing.

I expected more, the structure is quite pretty but small. There is a room overlooking the pool another instead is 5 al plan. The latter did not like so much for several reasons, one is that the tables are composed of black chairs for a wedding is not the best. Then the room is not large, there was no chance even to do a dance. I prefer much more spacious facilities.

Friendly and attentive to the needs of customers, but the room I stayed in a suite which was one of the more expensive rooms of the hotel needed maintenance especially in the bathroom, also I did not find adequate products served buffet breakfast as well as being cheap they weren't fresh.

Great hotel, we had me and my girlfriend on holiday from 22 to 26 July and we had a great time, have amazing staff, kindest available etc etc. Good food. For those who don't want to go to the beach there are two swimming pools, including a Jacuzzi. All great … hope to return … ☺
