I don't normally write a review until after I've departed. But the B&B La Via del Mare is so lovely that I heartily recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in the area. It has been kitted out to a high standard in the bedroom, bathroom and wash room. I particularly like the electronic shutters. It would be far easier for the family owners to have just put in wooden ones. It showed to me the care and thought that they have put in to the accommodation for their visitors. Another nice touch is that there is a traditional platform fireplace in our room. Not that the temperature ever dropped below 20.
The view from our room is probably the nicest of any hotel / B&B that I've stayed at.
This same view can be seen from both of the patios that they serve breakfast too. This is also right next to the sun loungers. Not something that most B&B's bother with. The Staff that we have dealt with both speak good English.
Finally from our balcony there was a private and short flight of steps to the beach.
We were originally booked at a hotel up the road. It was further from the beach and surely couldn't have been as welcoming.
