Great hotel. The food is great.

The food was great and the views spectacular but the service is not what it used to be with dirty plates and we had to ask for bread and pepper. Despite me telling it was a special occasion. They did give us a little cake for free but we waited so long for the bill we nearly walked out.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous rooms, dining is exquisite and amazing grounds and pool, we had a fantastic weekend there back in 2008. Even more memorable as it was the weekend that I got proposed to, hope to return in the future.

Just recently attended my friends wedding and it was truly spectacular. The setting was so beautiful and the food was the best I have ever tasted. Friendly, helpful staff that made all the difference to this amazing event. Thankyou to everyone at the Belmond Hotel it was just perfection.

Lunch at the Belvedere was utterly magical. My mother is a well-traveled 96 years old, and she said this is the most beautiful restaurant she has been in, ever. The service under Luca, along with his brigade, was absolutely amazing. There was so much genuine warmth and delight in having us as guests, it made the excellent meal the most memorable experience. I urge anyone to bypass Positano and the “big” hotels La Sirenuse and San Pietro to come to beautiful and peaceful Ravello and enjoy the Belmond Hotel Caruso and it’s gorgeous terrace restaurant.

Top of the line. Super service and great view from the mountains. Only one restaurant, but they have shuttles to Amalfi to go to dinner. Also to positano, but not convenient for dinner, mostly for lunch.

This place is gorgeous. The staff made our trip remarkable. They treated us as family. The people we met told us they live in paradise. I can’t say enough about the quality of the hotel, the beauty of the view, the breathtaking pool, and did I mention the incredible people who made or honeymoon the very best. Don’t miss the pizza at the pool.

The Caruso Belvedere is a hotel of Atri tempi, it was when I attended forty years ago, it is now that it hosts a clientele with considerable economic capacity offering services of extreme respect, I prefer to remember it however as it was a time, however Exclusive but not as today, with its ancient time rooms equipped with semi-circular terraces overlooking the Mediterranean, its collection of paintings of 800, the dining room immersed in dim lights, quiet and discreet, the production of wines for guests, the Courtesy of the cozy and intimate management that always made you look at the center of the universe; I spent intense periods in those walls feeling the master of the world.

From the moment you arrive you are greeted by name. The dining options are exquisite. The infinity pool boasts panoramic views that you can only dream of. We had an exceptional experience at the Belmond Caruso. The hotel is wonderfully designed and really fits into the environment. It's perfectly located at the top of Ravello right next to a cute little church on a cobble stone road — it's almost hard to tell which is hotel and which is just the old town of Ravello. The rooms are spacious and you will be greeted with a bottle of delicious champagne. The staff at the hotel are all exceptionally nice and attentive. The breakfast is very delicious with a large selection of fruits, pastries and à la carte items dishes. We loved the early mornings at the breakfast table given the incredible views over coast. The hotel restaurants are all phenomenal — definitely make sure to have dinner at the hotel restaurant at least one of your nights. The pool and garden area are wonderfully designed and very inviting to spend a lot of time. One of the best hotel experiences we've had. We will be back.

The restaurant is definitely a place you go to for an experience more than the food itself which I thought was great but not spectacular. I would just go back there to drink the wine personally and have dinner elsewhere :) The wine was and service were excellent. Also a nice place to have champagne in their little bubbly garden before dinner. A glass will cost you around €30, which in some cases is the price of the bottle itself, but yea it's the experience and atmosphere you're paying for.

The restaurant is gorgeous. Sitting on the patio overlooking the sea enjoying a world class meal before going is a recital featuring 3 pianos. Ravello is a quaint beautiful village up a mind boggling winding road. Well worth it!

Went to dinner here and had an amazing meal. The definition of luxury. The staff kept bringing us complimentary dishes and were extremely kind. It was truly an experience.

I didn't stay here. What I did was have a GREAT family meal, poolside, on a summer evening. It cost a fortune. It was worth every penny. Great food, SPECTACULAR service, and … FUN.

Wow wow wow. This is the best place we've ever been to. The views are some of the best on this planet. The service was impeccable. The entire staff smiled any time we ran into them. This was a trip of a lifetime and we will be back.

I would say the food was AWESOME! The service… not so much… Took 20 minutes to get our check and we never had our waters refilled. There was maybe 6 tables total for lunch and three waiters and a runner no lack of staff. I would just suggest to management to make sure you serve all your patrons at the same level. Lunch $175 euros… deserves better service. Food was great!

After traveling all over the world we were looking for a spot with breathtaking views where luxury is at its best. Belmond Caruso was our match — every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of and we felt like the royal family for a few days. Guido and the whole Belmond staff went out of their way to attend to our needs and were always spot on for whatever our hearts desired! Thank you so much for this experience — we can't wait to come back again.

Thieves. Left the hotel on the last day to find out I left my chain and ring in the room as I was on my way to the airport. I rang up and informed them and ask if they could keep it safe. I rang up the following day and was told it wasn't there. IT WAS 100% ON THE SIDE, I asked them to look again and after many more pointless phone calls I gave up. I'm devastated as this is a 21st birthday present that means more to me than money. After reading other reviews this is not the first time this has happened so be very careful as these people are not to be trusted. Take away the view from this hotel and everything is shocking about it. Was really disappointed with this hotel but the last day tipped me over the edge.

Good place for accommodation in this area however be aware of few things. First if you write only one person to the accommodation you got a small room and for one only bed in my case with minibar on the corridor that small the room was — had to ask for different room as I wake up at the floor first night — one or two people on room is no price difference BTW; and had it booked as 2 people are coming. Secondly even though the area is horribly overpriced and this hotel is a bit lower price still you will pay way to much to a standard you are getting in comparison with all the places in Europe even Paris; London; Rome center meaning like 2x that much is the cost. For that you can get a great view on from the hill down to a sea; short walk from Ravello main square; nice place for a swim in a hotel pool and balcony where you can enjoy the view from your room. And again minuses — by the pool do not expect privacy as all the turists going around the hotel by the main road is having clear view on it. Night Bar is closed by 10 p. M. Sharp. Breakfast is good, but do not expect bacon as you would have everywhere else in hotel (this is as extras payable) so some things you may miss. Sunny side up eggs get you burn eggs from both sides; soft boiled eggs are hard boiled; time to time to get an egg omelet can take half an hour… Staff was really nice that's an additional plus.

One the very best hotel we've ever stayed. Stunning view, excellent facilities, excellent services, beautiful garden, and probably the most beautiful infinity pool in the world! This will be the only hotel we stay if we are to come back to Amalfi coast. Ravello is so beautiful with stunning view and peaceful among major Amalfi coast towns.

Beautiful location and a gorgeous Infinity Pool, unfortunately the staff not as friendly as what you get from such a Hotel expect.

Restaurant had good food with an amazing view. The customer service was also excellent! However the €166 bill was very questionable. It was good but not mind blowing. Tip: unless you want to splash the cash or make it rain, save your money on a similarly priced restaurant in Rome or Florence. If you must go, enjoy and treat yourself.

This property is terrific, great service. Stayed there for 3 nights, felt safe enough not to use the safe to put a way small amount of cash. Half of cash was gone by check out. Be sure to fully utilize the in room safe. We were not rob in Naples, but at a room in this property.
