They cancelled our booking with no reason and no refund the same day of the check in!
2 Classic rooms and 1 suite for more than 5. € 000 (prepaid) cancelled the check in day, because, they said, they got problems during the night and our rooms were no longer available.
They suggested a low lever 4 stars instead. We spent the all day looking for another hotel, but we had to go in Sorrento as Amalfi and Positano were fully booked.
No refund and no excuse.
The Worst experience ever!
In February 2017 I confirm 2 Classic and 1 suite for almost 5.000 euros.
We had check in on June 21st.
At 9:15 of June 21, 2017 we were called by Mr. Antonio of the reception of the hotel agave, who informed us that on the night of 21 June 2017 at 00:15 had occurred both a water and electrical failure at the facility, and that at least 20 rooms were Unusable. Many customers already in the structure were obliged to change hotels. Mah! We asked for evidence of this, never anything we have been provided!
For this reason we could not check in and enter the structure!
We are offered a much lower quality structure than the Grand Hotel Tritone, which we do not accept
Alone and after a whole morning on the phone to look for another solution we went to the only facility available that was not in Positano but in Sorrento with 3 rooms Classic Garden view
The hotel did not deign to apologise for paying us back for the huge problems that they caused.
Never again!
