Positano is beautiful 🇮🇹🍋🇮🇹 Le Agavi is just as beautiful ✈️🍾 The views from all over the hotel property are breathtaking 🍋🍸 The staff was very friendly and most spoke English so that was helpful They have the only Funicular that take you from your hotel Room to the top of the property with a view of the beyond blue water that is magical 🇮🇹🇮🇹🌊🌊 The breakfast buffet is simply delicious! Cappuccinos to start your morning☕️☕️🍶 I will be back🇮🇹🍷🍾✈️🍷💜

5 stars! It is built into the side of a cliff, so it is a little difficult to navigate around if you’re not in tip top shape, but it is SO WORTH IT! Great staff, great rooms, AMAZING views!

Le Agavi Hotel is so beautiful! It’s beyond words. The spa is stunning as well, with an ocean view. The food at both restaurants is insanely good, and the wait staff are kind and will do whatever it takes to make you feel welcome! Highly recommended.

Le Agave Hotel was highly recommended to me. I loved the breakfast choices, the view and being serenaded by musicians each morning. The restaurants were superb and the wait staff was excellent. The rooms were large and comfortable. I highly recommend Le Agave.

I just had a massage at the Le Agavi Hotel from the Positano Massage Team and it was amazing. They have invented a technique called the Five Star Method and it was the most relaxing and healing massage I ever had. Congrats to the hotel manager for selecting this one-of-a-kind massage team.

A lot of fun and nice surprises and the service and hospitality was superb. Great luxury restaurant and hotel, a must in Positano.

First of all Positano is beautiful and the Le Agavi views provide a great opportunity to see the whole picture. Our deluxe room was perfect. Good size, clean, very modern bathroom and walk-in closet. The best part of the room was the patio. It was big enough for a couch, table and two chaise lounges. The hotel has a lot of places for you to enjoy the view or just relax. We enjoyed the outside deck/bar which has a great view. The pool area was small but comfortable and th…e pool is heated. The beach club was also very relaxing and better than the pool if you just want to lay out. There is a private beach but we didn’t swim. The hotel shuttle bus to and from the city was convenient and always on time. It runs every hour which requires a little planning and free but the water taxi from the hotel is a nice touch and available on demand. At $10 per person it is cheaper than a cab to the city and a lot faster. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and the front desk staff was specifically nice and helpful. At first I wasn’t sure if I would have preferred staying in town but after a day of getting used to the hotel property and transportation I can see why others said it was better than staying in the city. The hotel arranged for transportation from Naples airport with a local company call Positano Transport?. Antonio our driver was great, knew the history of the area and spoke English well.

Only negative note, but definitely not evening, the metre of the Serra! All the dinner (despite the excellent wine bought together with the tasting) was engaged with a single table.
I recommend to all these hotels and hope to be able to return next year.

To start, keep your expectations for Positano within reason. Le Agavi and the St. Regis Princeville are two of the most expensive hotels I have stayed in, but you are not getting the St. Regis experience for that price in Positano. PROS: — Spectacular views from the private balconies — Great area to lay out at both the pool and the beach club (do not underestimate the value of the furnicular down to the beach club — there is a lot of uphill/downhill walking in Positano) — Excellent, very friendly service from all of the staff — Expansive and delicious complimentary breakfast spread, also with great views CONS: — The shuttle is a great way to get to and from town, but you need to catch it within 30 seconds of specific hourly departure and return times. There is no flexibility with the schedule, and the only other way to get in and out of town is a taxi for $20-25 each way. — We had a real problem with ants coming into our room through the windows, and thus were unable to enjoy the breeze off the water. This may have been an issue unique to our room, but it was a disappointment. Overall, I would recommend Le Agavi, but I cannot say I walked away with the same "Wow! " factor I felt after spending $600+ a night at the St. Regis. If you look around Positano though, everything is in that same price range.

Poition enviable for a spectacular panorama, not central, but perhaps for this attractive. Average quality, although in the area few are really the exceptions over the top. The location is one that stays inside, for an unforgettable summer. The Amalfi Coast is known for these angles of paradise that remain unforgettable.

Excellent in every way… fantastic room, amazing service, silence and tranquility, a spectacular view from our terrace and very good food. The place itself is a paradise. Loved it.

If you are serene you enjoy it at 100%, if you have to recover serenity you enjoy it at 101%.

The staff could not have been more friendly and accomodating. And their restaurant was beyond good. A good foodie find.

I know this spot top to bottom,,, it would be a privilege to define the best aspects of this hotel,, but there are so many to mention that maybe I'm afraid to live some very important things out,,, all I can say is that : if a some point in life we all shall met in heaven I wish for you all that heaven will look like this… ❤️

It is not a 5 star, it lacks maintenance and modernize it a little. Excellent restaurant. A little complicated to get to. Excellent view!

We stayed in a private apartment on the hotel land, we found interaction with the staff on occasions was always a pleasant, courteous and warm experience. Views are amazing, we made good use of the courtesy bus. Hotel restaurant has a lovely view, but is hugely expensive, they very much enjoy putting on the gastronomic experience which you certainly pay for. Not the place to eat if like us you wanted good casual, relaxed Italian everyday food. The grounds are beautiful though, and you wouldn't regret staying here, it's truly lovely with one of the best viewing locations.

They cancelled our booking with no reason and no refund the same day of the check in!
2 Classic rooms and 1 suite for more than 5. € 000 (prepaid) cancelled the check in day, because, they said, they got problems during the night and our rooms were no longer available.
They suggested a low lever 4 stars instead. We spent the all day looking for another hotel, but we had to go in Sorrento as Amalfi and Positano were fully booked.
No refund and no excuse.
The Worst experience ever!
In February 2017 I confirm 2 Classic and 1 suite for almost 5.000 euros.
We had check in on June 21st.
At 9:15 of June 21, 2017 we were called by Mr. Antonio of the reception of the hotel agave, who informed us that on the night of 21 June 2017 at 00:15 had occurred both a water and electrical failure at the facility, and that at least 20 rooms were Unusable. Many customers already in the structure were obliged to change hotels. Mah! We asked for evidence of this, never anything we have been provided!
For this reason we could not check in and enter the structure!

This place is the most amazing place I've been to. This hotel made positano the greatest experience for me. Such a friendly place the staff isn't like staff they are more like family. So safe and the best location quiet and clean! The staff will do anything to help you and the rooms have the best view of positano. The breakfast is amazing the resort and pool location is the best to swim in at positano. I cannot wait to come back here! And very friendly and great for family vacations. Best hotel I've been to.

Highly recommended Best resort hotel with great view! Great balcony view room,. Private beach, water taxi, pool, excellent restaurant, parking (important in Positano) w shuttle down city center Chef home made ice cream! Try to stay 2 nites at least.

Amazing! Great view and great food. Only problem is no irons in the room. You need all your clothes pressed by hotel which is €7 per garment. Bring an iron! Other than that this place is amazing.

Could not have been better … The views are breathtaking, the rooms are charming and the staff is out of this world nice. I've never stayed at such a one of a kind place. The beach club and shuttle into town give you the best of all worlds.

Great views and very friendly staff. Beach description is a bit deceiving, because you can't swim or walk on the beach, it's all rocks. Overall, hotel is a bit dated and could use more comfortable beds. You will also have to use their shuttle to get back and forth between town, so you're trading the ease of access for the view. Breakfast is incredible with the view and live music, but dinner is severely overpriced. I think the hotel is great, but like so many of the hotels in Italy, overpriced for what you get. On the positive, there is no city tax, which after this long journey was very refreshing.

Amazing food, service, and view!

They have the best view of Positano which you can see from your own balcony of the room. And the dinner is awesome as well. Never miss the night view from their restaurant at 1st floor.
