The room is very nice and clean. Beautiful view. The staff very professional kind and welcoming.

We stayed one night at Royal hotel Positano. It was my worst experience during my vacation. The receptionist was so rude and unprofessional. The only thing that was important for him was Money and no more. The hotel was so old and the lift was out of order. The room was basic even the pillows covers and throw were so bad. We wanted to stay there 3 nights. But after a night we left there and went to another hotel. Please don’t go there. I left one star just for staff who work in kitchen.

Great hotel, great cuisine, the staff is friendly and helpful to meet every customer's needs.
Large pool and great tennis court (I think it's the only one in Positano).

Away from the sea (about 1 km, you see a wedge only from the terrace). Very little unguarded parking. Walk from the center at least 20 minutes uphill/descent with almost 400 steps. Inconvenient internally: a cluster of properties stuck in each other, with architectural barriers everywhere. Not recommended.

This hotel is very basic. The breakfast was disappointing. Only scrambled eggs offered or you paid. We asked for an omelette and was charged 5 euro. The bed was most uncomfortable. The springs stuck into me. We had to put the quilt and 2 blankets under the bottom sheet to pad the mattress to make it good enough to sleep on. I would not recommend this hotel even though it is reasonably priced. A long walk down 400 steps to get to the ocean or alternatively a long winding road.

Nice and and clean hotel situated up the hills, about 20 min walk to the beach and town. There is however a shortcut if you take the stairs "through the forest", number of steps = 400+, stopped counting after I lost my breath we had a seaview room with a balcony facing the pool and the beautiful Positano ocean and colorful houses. Simple, not so special breakfast, but the terrace made up for it. After 6 p. M. A drink a well enjoyed on the bar terrace with music. Friendly and service minded staff. Great parking possibilities for 20EUR per day.

Best choice. Big room on two levels with living area and a balcony with an amazing view of the coastal line. Sadly I did not tried the pool as it was to chilly for the beginning of May.

Great location, clean rooms, free WLan, breakfast very much matched to the American clientele. Not cheap in season …

Its a beautiful hotel. Bit far from the ferry port. If you plan to walk from the ferry, note that its all steps uphill. You can take a bus from the ferry. The rooms are clean and spacious. Good generous breakfast too. The gentleman at the reception was polite and nice.

I traveled to Positano with my partner, hotel was in a good location not in a city center. Exactly 400 steps away from main shopping street. If you like walking you won't mind. Place dated rooms very generous in size, however very basic. Large swimming pool which if you want to use you have to wear swimming cap that you can buy by the pool. Not ideal look. Stuff at hotel very nice and helpful, chef … if he showed up on time for breakfast you still had to wait 20-30 minutes for egg omlet which seem to be a major ask. Reception staff great, managed to arrange all sorts of stuff for us. We will visit again.

Definitely not worth the money. Toilet had an unpleasant smell the whole time and the room was outdated (like 30 years of not being renovated). Parking was 20 euros per night. The view was nice but not enough to recommend this place.

This hotel should be downrated to a 3 star hotel. Very dated, dark and poorly fitted rooms and we were advised that we required to wear swimcaps to swim in the pool and were given very poor advice from concierge. A long walk up many steps from the beach which was redeemed by the great view from the terrace.

Always lovely and refined place, the kindness of the staff is amazing… if it worked the WI-FI would be perfect!

Nice hotel. 10 minutes walk down to the town centre when you use the pathway next driveway. It's a lot easier than walking from the public roads.

A nice spot but a little dated. The pool is a welcome feature for those who want sometime in the sun and don't want to trek to the beach. Easy to catch the local bus to get down and back up from the town.

The staff and view are great. The walk up from the beach can be pretty long and the pool requires swim caps.

If you are looking for the SUBLIME when you arrive in Positano, you need look no further than the Royal Prisco. The rooms, views, service and staff are beyond 5 stars. I can't wait to start living there, no place like it on the planet. Vincero, Vincero, VINCERO!

Really liked our stay! Very short walk to the Bus stop and 10 mins to the beach. Beautiful views. Wi-Fi connection not that great and only available in the lobby area.

Room was very hot at night. Location is a bit far from the the beach but very close to bus stop. Well kept and clean.

We had requested 2 rooms and a balcony on the balcony there was we complained and they showed us the rooms smelled musty and had to get up half an hour earlier in the morning because the elevator does not pass on all floors. I do not recommend do not book.

Experience not to repeat I booked in the month of March I state I was operated for a knee I requested two stánze and a balcony have been teasing I got today I have no balcony I have no vista I pèrche stairs didn't arrive l Elevator I gave two-thirds of the price I can't leave otherwise I lost everything two star at best are sl restaurant are celiac I advised in March I want to see what I will give exceptional point l Hotel NAIDU.

This place is awful. Great views but so does every other place facing the water. The staff are generally nice though thoroughly abused by Italian vacationers. Our room was ok, though, the patio door doesn't have a handle on the outside, so, if you accidentally close the door while going out, you are locked out. The dinner food is atrocious. I ate (barely) what was supposed to be steak, it was some brown, overcooked piece of disgust laying on a piece of toast. Yes. Toast. That for 18 euros. Oh, and in this resort location, I showed up wearing very tasteful khaki shorts, they told me I had to change and wear pants. In this dump? hahaha Though we put a "do not disturb" sign on our door, we came back to find the sign ignored, the A/C turned off, the beds made and our computers unplugged from the wall. After complaining, the front office said "they would make a note. " Tried the same exercise the next day, the beds were left unmade and the computers left alone, though, the vindictive maid still came in the room and changed a bathroom light — how did we know? They left the empty light bulb carton on the bathroom vanity. Back to dinner, the other diners were exceedingly rude. One table was looking at and gesturing to our table almost entirely through our meal, until, I stared at one of the women and said aloud "yeah, WHAT? " That stopped that behavior, but still? The pool? nice pool until you see the railing around the entire perimeter.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff and room service daily. Spotlessly clean and great view from balcony. Very accommodating if you have an early start and will open up the breakfast area early for you. Would definitely stay here again.

Food excellent, qualified personnel, r with air-con, visit stunning, a little far from the sea, but walk worth it.

The experience that goes back a few years ago sprang from SHARM/POSITANO, and with great pleasure because I love this place.
Just love to Positano tried to contain natural criticism that flowed during that holiday.
First, the location of the room, too near the reception, too cramped and in that small, encumbered by a kind old conditioner, (located on the ground), and the inability to qualify as joint owner, a shuttle service. Since then I was assured that the hotel was under renovation. I wanted to believe and to give confidence to the structure and for the sake of this lovely place, we want to try again this year. Fingers crossed!
It seems fair to conclude with some redeeming factor: the pool again. And the Organization of literary events. I also hope that there is chance this year of increased supply of recreation for teens. A greeting.
