For more than 30 years I have been going to this wonderful hotel where I found hospitality, cleanliness, professionalism, friendliness, good food and much more… Highly recommended!

Wonderful place, maximum hygiene and cleanliness, breakfast the top, a short walk from the sea, exceptional staff luigi the owner humble, friendly person, will be my holiday place.

Modern and elegant structure that fits perfectly into the coastal landscape. Staff and Properties who have made friendliness, kindness and professionalism their hallmarks. Very recommended.

Undoubtedly among the best hotels on the coast. Professional and welcoming staff, ready to meet any need. Excellent cuisine (to try at least half board, if not full board! ) ) with daily seafood choices. Pleasant garden where you can eat breakfast. Beach service and lido equipped with swimming pool. Need more? Ah yes, there is ample availability of parking spaces!

Class, elegance and the top of the amenities. The staff are always helpful, the rooms are always clean and with daily linen change. The management is attentive to every customer's needs. I spent 10 days in peace and serenity.

Nice hotel, lovely breakfast out on the terrace. Very close to the free beach and the ferry port. Was disappointed that we would have to pay for the hotel pool and beach as thought this would have been included or discounted for hotel guests. Also surprised that had to pay for the plastic water bottles each day as assumed they were free and did not have any information in the room about charges.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at villa isabella, the hotel provides free parking service and shuttle service. Very recommended.

This is the second year we stay in this hotel, we returned for the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. Clean hotel and beach, great food; I don't rule out going back a third time.

I say that I review the beach: very friendly and attentive manager, clean beach, umbrellas not piled up as happens in other establishments… clean changing rooms and bathrooms! Good prices, you eat well and the pool is a plus! We'll be back!

It is the second time Q I stayed in this hotel, and despite having spent 5 years of the previous visit they reminded us. I repeat, the price is the Q is, is the Amalfi Costiera…

I stayed in these days and I had a great time. Great staff, rooms always well cleaned and breakfast super plentiful. Very convenient parking, directly in the property. I would stay here again.

The rooms are very good.

Fantastic location, right next to the ocean and beaches, but set back from too much road noise. Food offered is fantastic, as is the service. Rooms can be a bit strangely laid out or small, but if you are spending most of your day out of the hotel they'll be perfectly clean and comfortable for you at night.

This was our second visit to the Amalfi Coast and we stayed at Hotel San Francesco in Maiori. Again we were not disappointed. The Hotel is owned by Luigi Ferraro, who is at the Hotel every day insuring to the last detail complete customer satisfaction. His entire staff is trained for customer satisfaction, always polite, helpful, accommodating, and very respectful. Most of the staff speaks English, the remainder are able to work out what you are asking. The facilities are immaculate. The rooms are cleaned to a tee everyday, fresh sheets and towels, the rooms are very spacious, with air conditioning, TV, and always ample Hot Water. The Dining Room is spectacular, we had breakfast and Dinner daily for each of our stays. The Dining Room is run by Vincenzo, a completely fine gentleman who meets your every need. His crew is spectacular, all of them very respectful and very accommodating The Food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast is a buffet, very complete and if you ask for something you are use to having you get it. I have a banana a day, and by the time of the second morning breakfast there was a banana daily for me. The Dinner served at 730pm is short of absolutely amazing. Freshly made pasta daily, a variety of pastas and combinations made available daily. Fish is their specialty, caught fresh daily and cooked to perfection. Luigi the owner was a master chef himself, he personally selects the daily dinner menu. And monitors its preparation.

We paid a lot for a junior suite on a high level with a sea view. The room was large with lovely local ceramic tiling, but the jacuzzi bath didn't work, the shower over the bath had no surround so you flooded the bathroom each time, the sea view was only partial (we were on the 3rd floor, 4th might give a better view), breakfast was asmall selection and the same every day and pretty dire (I don't expect Kraft processed cheese in the land of famous cheeses), only one member of staff was friendly, they were unhelpful when we asked them to print out our return boarding passes (it took from 10 am to when we left at 5:30 pm and for us to ask 4 times), the 'pool' advertised is tiny (just a plunge pool), they charge 25 Euros per day for the privilege of using the beach and pool (extortionate given it's an expensive 4 star hotel), and the lift broke on the final day with us inside and no help was offered to help us down the flights of stairs with our luggage. All in all, ok but expensive for what it is, and NOT a 4 star hotel.

The best hotel I have ever chosen! Very good.

We recently stayed at this lovely hotel in the month of May 2010. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their English is much better than my Italian. The hotel itself is so tasteful and the rooms more than adequate. The best breakfast served with top quality produce. It's location is also a plus as it is just back from the main street but so close to everything. Great little beach bars across the road and if you can't find a good place to eat in Maiori then you are just not trying. They do have a washing and ironing service but beware it isn't cheap. No irons provided in rooms or facility to make your own cup of coffee/tea, but we just bought our own little jug and they supplied the cups, no problem. Highly recommend this hotel and Maiori. Better than Amalfi as it is a little quieter, not overloaded with tourist buses.
