This hotel is a gem. The staff immediately made us feel welcomed. Our room was very clean, everything worked as needed — hot/cold water, a. C. At night, mini-bar, Wi-Fi to share our beautiful pictures from throughout the day. Our sea view veranda was amazing — the amazing coastal views, the beautiful flowers and lemon trees, the table and chairs and lounge chairs. It was a seaside oasis. The breakfasts were delicious and started every day off right. Although slightly out of town, we found this to be a nice respite from the city sounds. Although there is not all day restaurant service, this didn't matter since we were never there beyond the beginning and end of the day. Snacks and drinks were always available. The staff arranged transportation promptly, advice on restaurants, and it wasn't hard to walk into town the old fashioned way. This hotel had accomodations for those with disabilities, but the town in general was quite limited in that respect. We would highly recommend this property as it is well worth it!

Beautiful place to stay. Always ask for a room with a view, it's worth it! Very good breakfast and the service is excellent. Antony is a kind and friendly host. We will return.

Nice place to stay. Hosts are welcoming, helpful, and very knowledgeable on places to go and things to do; however, the Hotel is a little outside of the town center and you have to walk approx. 15 mins (sometimes on the road) t0 get to Amalfi. Also, the no liquids and food hotel policy is a little aggressive given that sometimes you just feel like taking something home to snack on later. That being said, I would recommend the hotel for people looking for a great ocean view.

The courtesy and kindness of the staff at this hotel won us over! We also appreciated the special attention in the décor of the hotel and the individual rooms. Breakfast is memorable! Hopefully we can go back! G&J.

A very nice, clean place to stay. It is quiet and not right in the crowded town of Amalfi. The Management is very helpful and accommodating. They had us picked up for dinner one night and made reservations for us, the next. We were allowed to park our car in their garage instead of on the street. That was a nice perk. We had a room on the first floor by the stairs and it was rather large. Our room had a small fridge with wine and water in it, two A/C units, a small TV and a fairly comfortable bed. All in, it was a good experience.

3 star Hotel just outside Amalfi. He has a private parking lot. The room was very clean Tommaso and Antonio are priceless with their willingness to solve every problem.

I stayed here for 3 nights to start my honeymoon. Would never stay here again. I almost left mid-trip and booked another hotel while staying here that’s how much I regret booking here. Pros: Rooms are good size, management let me check in early, large terrace (minimally furnished with cheap furniture), nice view (but across the road from the actual cliff where you truly would get a real sea view) Cons: 1. LOCATION! There are so many hotels in the heart of amalfi, and this one is about a 20 minute walk away, along the windy tiny road with minimal sidewalks and crazy drivers coming at you in both directions. Some might not mind the distance, but buses and cabs stop running at 9 PM, so if you happen to stay in town for a drink or eat a late dinner, you’re on your own walking back in the dark. Definitely an inconvenience when you’re hoping to just enjoy the culture and be part of the amazing town of amalfi. 2. Room issues. The first night we stayed in an end room and the place next door had roosters crowing from 2:30 AM and then every hour until 9:30 AM. They let us switch rooms for the next two nights, but we were put in a room smelling like cigarettes. We dealt with it so we could a night’s sleep without roosters waking us up every hour. 3. THIN WALLS, can hear everything. Our last night we were woken up by what sounded like an elephant stomping around on the roof of the property. Maybe they were doing construction? But at 7 AM when I’m trying to sleep a little bit?

Comfortable, clean, spacious, tidy, excellent bed. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable. The lovely owners. Widely recommended. We went in winter and they were well prepared to give us comfort, but their facilities are ideal for summer and spring.

Pros: The hotel is in a very good location, the sea-view from the terrace of the room was great. They offered us sea-view rooms for free, even if they tried to charge it extra. The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. Breakfast for 5 euro was great. Thanks to misunderstanding of the breakfast time, we have seen the center of Amalfi in the morning hours. Cons: Spending the whole day outdoors in December, we would have liked a warmer place. The staff might think of offering some electric radiators for their guests during winter (the room could have been heated only by the AC).

We had a beautiful room with an amazing view, that would be hard to beat! Antonio was a kind and gracious man who did his best to please, upgrading our room upon request, organising tours and transfers to various destinations near by. We loved our 6 nights at Bellevue!

Our stay in this hotel was great! The room was big and the terrace outside was perfect for sunbathing and just enjoying the seawiev. Also the room was very clean and well taken care of on a every day basis. Breakfast was good, homegrown tomatoes, lemons. The owners and the staff took really good care of us during our stay here. We look forward to come back! Martin and Cecilia.

Worst place you can ever stay, dirty, food was terrible. Please avoid if you can, dishonest, be very careful.

The views and the staff were very nice to my wife, baby and I. We stayed here for the SanAndrea procession the last day of Nov, during low turismo season. The breakfast was great and plentiful and the views of the ocean were amazing. If you're not driving you can take a public bus into town… I would not recommend walking on the main narrow road. — — I had to come back to this review and give this place 5 stars. We have had a bit of the flue, and on our last morning they brought us coffee to our room and the staff, both night and day staff were some of the friendliest Italians I have met. If you're traveling with babies and/or kids, I would encourage you to stay here. I'm definitely coming back!

Pleasant enough room, fairly basic, but fits the price. The owner can be abrupt and gets on your nerves, but he means well. Don't expect the advertising to be accurate, the pool and beach are nowhere near the hotel and are run by separate organisations. As always read the small print.

The manager is medium complicated but it's his personality as well. You have to know to understand it. The place is very nice, good attention. If you tap view to the sea is beautiful. For the photo shoot. The location, taking the view, it is complicated. There are recored a lot to go to eat since the place does not have a restaurant.

I have been to Amalfi approximately 10 times and each time I go I stay at The Hotel Bellevue Suite. The owner speaks 5 different languages and always makes your stay there very comfortable. One time when I was there my wife was not feeling well when we arrived and he drove her to the hospital and stayed with us for the whole time in the emergency room. We then went back to the Hotel where he cooked her fresh chicken soup. His son Antonio can not do enough for you. He is always there for whatever you need. The rooms are spotless and the ocean views are spectacular. The hotel has a great Wi-Fi signal. I just returned and I am looking to book another trip to Amalfi and stay at The Hotel Bellevue Suite.

My travel agent booked our room at this hotel for our wedding. I had read the reviews but did not pay enough attention, should have. The hotel manager is the jerk of all jerks, does not like Americans and treats them poorly. DO not stay at this hotel, there are nicer in Amalfia and reasonable also.

I was on vacation in July 2014, this is my advice: don't trust the information we give you over the phone, "at 300 meters from the sea, " but unless you have the wings need to do a long, steep staircase, "we", but when ever!, room no sea view, but vista wall? It was not clear even that day was. The rooms are small but clean, but beyond that all negative: breakfast always the same and measured, owner who has missed your calling a discourtesy unheard-of, and if you have kids get ready to rebuke, continuous noise and interference, I would like to know who gave the stars at this hotel.

I booked this Hotel for 2 nights and had to cancel my whole trip due to illness. I gave 29 days notice and this place still charged me Euro170 cancellation. And ignored ALL my emails. Every other hotel gave free cancellation and wished me well. Not nice people it seems.

Very nice place. More like a bed an breakfast than a hotel. Tomaso dropped us off all the way in Naples, so we wouldn't have to take a train or a bus. Mille Grazie Tomaso.

I do not know how it is the stay because, despite the reservation and its down payment, I went away immediately saw the rudeness, impoliteness in the reception and confusion in the management
of reservations.

Hotel nicely renovated, but the family owning the hotel esp the father have no understanding of customer service, tend to be very unpleasant. Moreover the rules of the hotel feel very restrictive. Otherwise still a decent choice vs other hotel prices in the area.
