Airone Residence in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is Airone Residence located and what is nearby?

The residence is conveniently located in Zambrone, approximately a 10-15 minute drive from Tropea. One of the region's most beautiful beaches, "Paradiso del Sub," is within walking distance (about 5-15 minutes). Nearby facilities include a railway station, a pharmacy, several grocery stores, a tobacco shop, and a gelateria with a rotisserie. Some guests have noted that the hotel is situated near a busy road, which may cause noise.

Does the hotel have parking and electric vehicle charging stations?

Yes, Airone Residence provides covered parking. Guests have also confirmed the availability of charging stations for electric vehicles.

How polite is the staff and how does the reception operate?

The staff are described as very friendly, professional, and attentive to guest needs. Francesco Cimadoro is specifically highlighted for his assistance with bookings, efficiency, and hospitality, as well as Chiara and Marisa. The employees assist with organizing leisure activities, such as booking excursions to the Aeolian Islands. However, one guest noted some difficulties with the check-in process.

What is the quality of the Wi-Fi in the rooms and on the premises?

Guests describe the Wi-Fi as very fast and high-quality; one review even describes it as "the bomb."

What can be said about the condition of the rooms and the amenities provided?

The rooms are generally described as new, spacious, bright, and well-furnished. The apartments include all necessary amenities: air conditioning, a television, a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and cookware, as well as a washing machine and a drying rack on the balcony. While most guests are satisfied with the comfort, there are some complaints regarding very small shower cabins and the wear and tear of certain interior elements over time.

What is the view from the windows and are there balconies?

Many apartments feature terraces or balconies with a stunning sea view. Guests are delighted by the opportunity to watch sunsets, with the island of Stromboli visible in the distance. However, please note that the view depends on the specific room assigned.

How is the cleanliness of the rooms and the general area?

Guest opinions are divided. The majority praise the residence for its impeccable cleanliness and maintenance. At the same time, there are serious complaints regarding dirty floors, stains on linens, limescale and dust in the bathrooms, and the presence of pigeon droppings in open areas. It was also mentioned that waste sorting in the garage does not function properly due to guest behavior.

What pools are available at Airone Residence?

There are two pools on the premises with panoramic sea views. One is a large pool, and the second is smaller and equipped with a hydromassage system (Jacuzzi). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available by the pools. An important requirement is the use of swimming caps, which has caused dissatisfaction among some visitors.

Does the hotel provide dining and additional services?

There is a small bar on the terrace where guests can enjoy drinks or order breakfast. Some guests noted the absence of a full dining facility offering snacks, salads, or a complete dinner menu. The lack of evening animation was also mentioned as something that could have enhanced the holiday experience.

Is the hotel suitable for vacations with children and pets?

The hotel is excellent for families with children, providing children's pools and a playground with toys. The residence is also pet-friendly; guests have successfully stayed here with a cat. The overall atmosphere is described as peaceful and relaxing.

Our family spent a week in this wonderful place. Clean, tidy room with everything you need. Breathtaking sea view from the terrace in the apartment, the kids loved the pools. Everything is neat, clean, and cozy. The beaches in the area are beautiful. I definitely recommend visiting 👍☀️🌊

The hotel is really beautiful. Large and spacious rooms, Francesco — a person who takes care of many things in the hotel, helps in every matter. I will definitely come back to this hotel!

Beautiful structure 10 minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches (diver's paradise beach) and 10 minutes by car from Tropea.
The super friendly staff, we also booked the excursion to the Aeolian Islands through them.
The apartment is equipped with every comfort and from the terrace you can see a wonderful sunset. There is also a nice swimming pool and a small bar overlooking the sea.
A splendid holiday, the structure certainly deserves more than five stars.
