Lovely, charming B & B, right on the beach at Tropea. Property host Massimo was wonderful, very nice, informative, helpful, very patient and nice to us non-Italian — speaking guests. Location could not be any better—just steps away from the beach, beach chairs and umbrella easy to rent right next to the property. Property is a classic Italian building, beautiful brick, wood, and stonework inside and out. Room was good size (not huge but plenty big enough). Beds very comfortable (even though I have some back and hip issues, I was comfortable and slept well). Bathroom good size for this older classic property. Breakfast was very good, and served on a veranda with lovely sea breezes and a view of the grass courtyard. Not as inexpensive as some other properties but well worth the few extra euros. (And free parking on site was nice to have. )
What a perfect location in Tropea! Massimo was professional and helpful and he recommended a wonderful restaurant (Ambrosia). The B&B had everything you could ask for and the breakfast was superb. While traveling we ran into another couple who stayed here and they loved it as much as we did. The beach is delightful — highly recommend!

My wife and I spent a week at this lovely B&B on the beach in Tropea. Massimo and his staff made us most welcome. Even though we speak Italian we would have had no trouble had we spoken another language. We were charmed by the comfortable, very clean room with an upstairs balcony facing the sea and garden. We slept with the door open to the breeze and did not need the aircon. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and the hot water and lighting were excellent. Towels, including beach towels, were fine. There was a fridge in the room. The only noise was when the trash was picked up at night. The garden is wonderful and a great place to sit in the sun even if it is windy. Breakfast, including extra coffees, was abundant and delicious. The only peccato is that the Villa should have a capsule expresso machine in the salotto that is available to the guests when staff are not present. The Villa is an easy walk to the center and it us not hard to find picnic supplies nearby. My wife and I have been to Italy dozens of times and the Villa rates at the top of our places to stay. Bravo Massimo. A shout out to the women who prepare the food and maintain the facility.
