I would recommend anyone to spend a holiday at the Blue Horizon: couples, families with children and even teenagers or older people. The care and attention to each customer are not for everyone, but here you always find them, together with an excellent quality / price ratio and a series of services never discounted but very welcome. The family and all the staff are at the complete disposal of its guests and the structure itself, which deserves to grow more and more.

We stayed two days my husband and I in this beautiful hotel… Everything magnificent, immediate availability very nice rooms with spacious terraces … As for breakfast, lunch and dinner they make a very rich buffet … Spectacular pool and spectacular hot tub. I recommend it to everyone, couples families … It is from the terrace there is a spectacular panoramic coastline where you can admire a part of the city of Tropea … WITH THE AVAILABILITY OF THE shuttle that takes you to the sea at any time. I recommend it, I hope to come back bringing my little girl.

We returned today (unfortunately) from a week's holiday in this hotel, I'm not used to leave reviews but this time I have to because all the staff deserves compliments! family atmosphere, kindness and understanding, professionalism and Solarity of all employees, abundant and tasty food. Fun and engaging animation, in short… everything was perfect! thank you and I very much hope to return soon.

It was one of the most beautiful holidays I have ever had with my family… exceptional owners and unique staff super caring! Great and varied food also attentive to allergies! Wonderful animation but not of the stressful ones! They pampered us so much that next year we will return 🥰❤️

We stayed in this beautiful place a panoramic x 3 days and we didn't want to go back! we were really satisfied, great food and very clean rooms, very convenient the shuttle service which is just a few minutes leaves you at the centre or at the beach. We met really wonderful people (all the staff) who have welcomed us and made us feel as if we were at our house and we enjoyed it very much especially my daughter, stayed x hours in the pool! that is to say, highly recommended place, x to be able to spend their holidays between the sea and the sky.

Great location. Restaurant excellent with two first and two seconds, the earth, the sea, and with a good selection of buffet. After a while, you seem to be in the family.

The bartender Raffaele was friendly and very good in Cocktails, Angelina at the front desk very hospitable and always available… and all the other very good… professionalism, sympathy and kindness.

Very disappointed in the cost of the room and breakfast. The surrounds of this property l believe was once beautiful.

Beautiful place with spectacular views, with Stromboli almost always visible. The pool is always clean and well cared for. The staff and waiters very courteous, polite, always available, Raffaele, Michele and all the others. Buffet quite rich and good if nn though that the starters are almost always the same and the dessert is not always present. The rooms always clean and tidy. Congratulations. Recommended.

Recommended hotel on all fronts. My boyfriend and I had a nice week at this property. As a woman, what struck me first was the cleanliness of the rooms, the care of the rooms and the sea view pool. The hotel is very close to the beach, the shuttle service is functional and fast. The decision to opt for the full pension proved to be right because of the varied buffet; the friendliness of the waiters Michele, Franco, Raffaele and Leila did not go unnoticed.

Really nice staff and nice and clean hotel rooms. You get what you pay, after all its a 3 star hotel but I give it 5 stars!

Wonderful sea view, nice staff, good food, pleasant hotel bar. It is NOT within walking diatance from the Tropea city center but hotel has regular shuttle service (free until 10pm) so it doesn't matter. We've spent great Italian holiday in this hotel (june 2018)

The room is so ascetic that it pulls 2 stars minus. It's a strange place. Except for one night ok. Horrible breakfasts and dinner too so-so.

We stayed at this 3 night property for a wedding. The hotel has a pool, various facilities and a great view. The staff are friendly and always helpful. The room was nice, the bathroom small not windowed but decent. Good cleaning.
It is a bit far from the centre but they offer convenient and inexpensive shuttle service.
The only flaw in the breakfast, they could offer something better…

I have been to a wedding and everything has been very correct, the comfortable rooms, the staff both as reception and bus service of 10, great service and food.

If you want to walk every day to walk 3 km on foot from the beach, have small rooms and a sanitary knot, as well as bad food and service — then this hotel is just for you.

Great welcome and great view, helpful staff, to improve a little the rooms.

We came back today, reluctantly, after 3 days of pure relaxation, we arrived on Friday and we were greeted by the director, Francesca, nice guy, available to all needs, and my there have been so many, that the customers place them, they give me a room for 5 people and personally I think that there is they could go up to 8 because in Zagreb in the same size they gave me an apartment with a kitchen attached, the view was to lose his breath, great food, good chef, I have not had the pleasure of knowing, but above all, the dining room by the maitre d Salvatore, competent person and attentive to all, and to d to the girls that the supported. The pool is located on a beautiful clean and routine maintenance is made every morning, as I have noticed personally, my children were fine, last but not least the rooms as previously said, great, but most of all very clean. I hope and am sure to return soon, because my little girl when we went out to see the country, always said to me, dad why don't we go home? But to her, home was the hotel that's how we all felt at home. Good keep it up…

Lovely place, decent Hotel but our stay unfortunately was not ' lucky '. Room with stars on the roof that lit up at night, broken shutter and extra room neighbors casinisti. Let's just say it could get better. However low cost then value for money we know from.

Very well organized Hotel. Particular in its style and in its favourable position to an agreeable view of all Tropea.

Nice staff, beautiful views, English and German are also spoken at the reception. The food was unfortunately not always so good, the waiters are insanely fast. Breakfast Middle Class Italian … Coffee and juice from the vending machines are not recommended, you can buy better coffee at the bar.

Absolutely fair offer for money. Room OK, always clean and fresh handle towels. Friendly staff, reception speaks DE and EN. Breakfast offer unfortunately not good. Instant coffee and bread not edible. Good coffee but at the bar for 1Euro. Shuttle bus legendary and funny. Room unfortunately very light of hearing and noisy fellow guests (which is not the fault of the hotel). Tropea herself gorgeous.

Value for money close to the center. With a spectacular view from the bolcony.

The worst dinner of my life, the pasta was raw and I like that Q al dente, the meat was a frozen pork chop and put on the grill with a few potatoes the day before, not the following or describe the fish and that x 18 euros.

Family-run hotel Everything accessible, very clean even the standard rooms are equipped with Climate Bidet shower. Everywhere a terrace often with sea views. Television unfortunately 2 German programs but that's enough. Early intercontinental croissant versh. Breads, cheese, ham, cakes and versch. Jam cornflakes and much more.

Hotel "Orizzonte Blu" is located in one of the most beautiful places in Tropea. There are clean rooms, friendly staff and beautiful view from the window. We stayed at the hotel from 15 to 22 september2013 in room 306. This is a large room with a terrace, from which you can admire surrounding nature, sea and Stromboli volcano at any time. It is fantastic! We have only good and admiring words about disco bus. Special thanks to Francesca Christine and Gabby. 23 July 2014, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the wedding. And we want it in this hotel. Wait for us! We will be back! Sincerely, and Liutsina.

Can only recommend the hotel. Love, friendly Manager, Francesca, friendly, English speaking receptionist. Pool and pool bar overlooking the dream close to Tropea and direction of Stromboli with very nice upper. We have seen many beautiful hours. The hotel is located just outside the Centre, which is a good thing. Every half hour the free shuttle bus to the hotel's own beach, Lido ALEX drives. Very much recommended for fish food and Tartuffoeis a la Pizzo. We recommend it all, if also the Calabrian cuisine for Austrians takes some getting.
