B&B Hortis Tropea

Francesca is a really great host. I don't think we've ever been greeted so warmly and authentically. She gave us great tips for things to do on the first day and answered all of our questions. The accommodation is very clean and well maintained. It is cleaned daily. The room is normal in size to rather small, but is completely sufficient. However, it is very noisy (typically Italian), so we would recommend that everyone pack ear plugs. There is a coffee machine and tea available for free use in the room as well as a small mini fridge with drinks for a fee. The reception is directly opposite the room and is not always staffed. There is a bell there, so Francesca can come over immediately if you want something. Breakfast is served in a small café about a 5-minute walk away. It is very tasty there and there are various dishes such as scrambled eggs, pancakes, fruits and yoghurt. The service is very friendly. We would check into the B&B Hortis again at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

+ in the room there was a stocked minibar (fair price list), a kettle, a coffee machine and cookies.
+ the breakfast in the café (5 minutes walk away) was very tasty (toast, eggs & bacon were available upon request, not on the menu), otherwise there was a lot of choice (pancakes, waffles, fruit and yoghurt etc), the staff is super friendly.
+ perfect location (5min walk to the center)
+ free parking on the street opposite.

We stayed for 1 week in this splendid b&b located in a position that allowed us to reach the center in 2 minutes on foot.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted impeccably by the very kind lady at reception, she was immediately friendly and helpful.
In the morning in the room we found coffee pods, which were always made available to us, rusks and various biscuits obviously with a coffee machine.
There was also a minibar which provided us with various drinks, excellent for cooling off after a day at the beach.
Another positive note, given that negatives are impossible to find, is the room service or daily cleaning including changing towels, we always found the room clean and tidy.
Furthermore, the lady often offered us sweets even though it was not included in the price.
We thank the lady again for making the holiday even more perfect ❤️
