Amazing hotel, beautiful location, very good authentic and plentiful food in the restaurant, very very clean. But above all everyone who works there makes you feel very special, nothing is too much trouble. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Had a lovely stay here on the 17th Aug for 2 weeks, Stayed in Room 114 which had Sea View & Over looked the Pool & lovely kept gardens. Staff were ALL very friendly and very helpful would just like to mention some of them as they were so lovely Ima on reception, always smiling, Tizianna on Breakfast Duty and Pool Bar very bubbly & funny Nadia Restaurant Duty and Pool Bar lovely girl and of Course Steph the Manager made us feel very welcome BIG HUGS, a couple of others but not sure of names Pool Life Guard and the Gardener. What I did like was there was no towels left on Sun beds early in the morning, you could just come down when you were ready. Also in afternoon if there were odd sun beds the pool guy would always sort you 2 together was very helpful. The food was fantastic lots of it but very tasty can't fault any of it.
would definitely like to stay here again sometime.

Beautiful surroundings absolutely wonderful friendly service. Food excellent and I'm a foodie and not a bad cook. Michelin star 10 for me. And I don't want to go home.

Great service, very friendly, Nice food. I have Nothing bad to say About this place everything is great.
We have already been two times and we are going back in june.

Clean and large, nice and large rooms (especially those on the first floor, with spacious terrace and sea view and pool) is the bathroom in a tight, a little breakfast perfect, but dinner leaves a little to be desired: there should be more choice on the menu, especially in the first, where only various types of pasta are offered and in desserts, where only one is proposed… However the dishes are great.
The pool is large and clean and the bar has friendly and helpful staff.
The beach is a bit far away so you have to take the shuttle or walk.
The hotel is not very close to the city but you can take the shuttle that does various laps at the set hours (the same for the beach).
We had a good time,
the hotel is recommended.

This gem by the sea is a true find. The hotel is set on a beautiful garden style property and is unique. Ask for a sea view room with a terrace that looks over the ocean. The service is professional and friendly. The restaurant is superb and many local dishes and wines from the Calabria region are the best. There is a shuttle to the beach or we walked there it is a 15 minute walk. The hotel has a. Private beach area for guests. The pool and pool bar were great. For fun discover the village of Tropea it has great shopping. There is also a historic castle to explore. This place in Tropea is the best for a relaxing and fun vacation.

The property was just perfect. The hotel staff was very nice and the restaurant served very tasty foods. It is very laid back, so don’t be impatient and just savor the peaceful atmosphere.

Verry friendly staff, big end verry clean rooms. The pool is fantastique end there is a bar at the pool. It's a verry relaxing place. The restaurant verry cosy en the food excellent end they have a incredible liste off wine.

Nice Hotel. Very clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Hotel beach facilities are 1km away with occasional shuttle services. Pool facing rooms are a tad noisy. But the price/quality ratio is very good. Of course, there are posher yet more expensive places around Tropea. The hotel also offers shuttle services to the city of Tropea in the evening (as parking can be tricky in high season).

Really well run hotel. Super efficient and friendly staff. The top floor suite is just great and we love the pool area. Nice, well stocked breakfast but dinner not really up to the rest of the hotel standard with the main a la carte restaurant closed this late in the season. However, there is a great meal available 50 metres away at the local taverna. Old Tropes is brilliant, use the hotel shuttle service. The beach is OK and has private complimentary beds and sun umbrellas but it isn't as good or as sheltered as the beaches in Tropea.

For a graduation party, the best fish dinner of my life. Great everything, nice guys and space location!

It is a very quiet hotel that conveys the feeling of serenity. The pool is nice, the sea at 10 Min. Walk downhill or 2 min with the hotel bus that also passes to return, precise in the hours. The food is great and the staff is very helpful.

We have been to Tirreno twice and we cant wait for the next time. The people who run the hotel were born to be in the hospitality industry. The warmth and friendliness is genuine. The location, the garden, the pool, the breakfast, our incredible room, the care is perfect. The facility never ages because its so well looked after. What I am trying to say is "You should choose Tirreno". You should visit Tropea. You will never regret it and it will fuel you with energy and good memories for a long long time.

We highly recommend the Hotel Tirreno, we see it as a paradise of the south of Italy. Excellent service and personalized treatment. Go! They are not going to regret it.

We had a splendid stay at Hotel Tirreno. The appartment was fantastic. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. I would definetly book again.

Just had a long weekend at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and attentive and spoke good english (my italian is appalling, embarrassingly, although I did try). Locals in Tropea were very friendly and helpful too and there are lots of what look like good restaurants in the area, we never found a bad one. I would highly recommend this hotel and the area and I will be going back for a longer holiday as soon as I can.

Elegant and sophisticated, great attention to detail.
The staff and owners are trying to satisfy customers in all respects! The gem is the relaxation area in the garden with bougainvillea, banana trees and hibiscus. Sunbeds and parasols are available to guests and a stunning pool.
Breakfast was very good. Another treat the restaurant: I highly recommend the first fish … delicious!
Next year I'll be back to the Tyrrhenian Sea … This is the Calabria we like!

The apartment is on the price ok. It is vel too small for four people. It's quite loud due to the ground floor that although closes at 23: 00 bar but then it goes on until 4: 00, we had the aparetment above the bar and could not sleep. We wanted a quieter apartment after a week, but since the staff (manager) was very unfriendly and inflexible we are then pulled out.

Year 2009: unforgettable.

The location of the apartment complex "Tirreno Residence" in Cecina mare is eingentich wuderbar. It is quiet and you can easily walking reach. The room is clean but very small and somewhat old-fashioned furnished. Four, this two bedroom apartment is absolutely not to endure. The staff is rude and ignorant in the highest degree. Some also even urgent repairs should be carried out. The town of Cecina mare is totally dirty. Everywhere, on the sidewalk and the street no matter where the dirt and dog excrement is everywhere. The beaches are almost exclusively against payment and the sand is more fucked up than anything else with cigarette butts. This was a holiday as you want to have him not. Whoever likes camping, find here to the courts is sufficient. My family and my friends who were with us there are more hit this place and certainly not the "Tirreno residence". Not recommended.
