On one of the hottest evenings in July we decided to have dinner with two other friends of ours in the splendid location of Villa Adriana. A completely renovated estate located in the Castiglione area of ​​the municipality of Falerna, a small town on the Tyrrhenian coast, recently baptized as "Sunset Coast".
We are welcomed by Antonio, together with his sister, owners and managers of both the restaurant and the B&B, on the terrace of the structure, immersed in the greenery of the Calabrian hills.
We open the dinner with two mixed crudite appetizers and two courses of grilled seared octopus on creamed potatoes. Both dishes sublime.
We continue the dinner with two saffron risottos grown by the owners, a baked llama (spatula) fish roll and a plate of grilled calamari.
The dessert was a surprise: the heat induced us (thank goodness) to taste a Pizzo truffle with a mixed flavor of passion fruit, mango and chocolate. A delight, one of the best ice creams I've ever eaten.
All accompanied by two bottles of Ferrari rose.
The price, absolutely in line with dinner (135 euros per couple).
Super recommended location for high quality cuisine, worth trying if you happen to be along the Tyrrhenian coast of Catanzaro.

A magical place of authentic Calabria, offered with passion and professionalism in hospitality. It is a must to visit it and enjoy excellent preparations of southern foods with the skills of a chef. We had a great time in a break from the heat and frenetic pace of still working summer holidays. Thanks Antonio. We will certainly return because so much awaits us in this place.

We stayed in this property for 5 days, a very nice and quiet location. The spaces inside the homes are well kept and cared for. The owner is an exquisite person, always available to the customer.
We also took advantage of the restaurant service, with a fish-based tasting. The carefully prepared and very good dishes are combined with precise and attentive service.
I highly recommend for a stay whose watchword is relaxation.
