Hotel Rivabella

The hotel offers complimentary parking located adjacent to the promenade. Some guests note that there are sufficient spaces; however, during peak season—especially in August—finding an available spot can be challenging.

Guest feedback regarding the staff is mixed. Many guests praise the team for their friendliness, helpfulness, and professionalism, highlighting the breakfast room attendants and Chef Bruno in particular. Conversely, other guests have reported instances of impoliteness, an unattended front desk at certain hours, and complaints being overlooked by the owner. Additionally, several guests noted a negative experience where full payment was required immediately upon arrival prior to viewing the room.

Reviews regarding breakfast vary. Some guests describe it as excellent and generous, praising the homemade cakes. Others found it limited and repetitive, citing lower-quality discount-store products, a limited fruit selection, and issues with flies due to damaged container covers. Overall, many guests feel that the breakfast assortment could be improved.

Guests who dined at the restaurant for dinner were generally very pleased with the freshness of the fish and the overall quality of the dishes. However, some staying for longer periods noted a lack of variety in the menu, such as minestrone being served too frequently. The hotel also organized themed evenings, including karaoke nights, which were well received by guests.

Wi-Fi is available at the hotel, though the connection can be inconsistent. One guest noted that the connection dropped every five minutes and functioned only about half the time.

Soundproofing in the hotel is considered poor. Guests have reported that the walls are very thin, allowing conversations from adjacent rooms, hallway noise, and plumbing sounds from neighboring bathrooms to be easily heard.

Opinions vary considerably: while some guests find the rooms modern, clean, and comfortable, others state that the photos do not accurately reflect reality and that the furnishings are dated. Negative reviews mention sagging mattresses, a lack of wardrobes (only open hanging racks with hooks), and older, noisy air conditioning units mounted directly above the bed. Instances of worn bed linens and stained curtains have also been noted.

Rooms with sea views are described as magnificent, offering guests the chance to watch the sunrise directly from their bed. Regarding clothes drying racks, many guests noted their absence in the rooms, requiring them to keep damp clothing in suitcases or request a rack from management, which was not always provided promptly.

Housekeeping standards receive mixed feedback. While some visitors are satisfied with the cleanliness, others have reported dust under the beds, cobwebs behind the mini-fridge, and stray hairs on hairdryers and bidets. There have also been remarks regarding rooms being missed by housekeeping or serviced at inconvenient times (around 1:30 PM).

Air conditioning units in certain rooms are older, noisy, and may emit a musty odor. A notable concern raised by several guests was a persistent sewage smell emanating from the bathrooms throughout their stay.

Guest reviews frequently mention plumbing challenges, including a lack of hot water in the shower over several days and inadequate drainage slopes in shower trays, leading to water spilling onto the bathroom floor. Guests have also pointed out the absence of shower caddies, worn or discolored towels, and noticeable limescale on fixtures.

The hotel is located just steps from a sandy beach. The shoreline features pebbles upon entering the water, and the depth increases rather quickly; therefore, swim armbands are recommended for children and water shoes for adults.
