My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Almare B&B on our first visit to Crotone. Our host Giovanni and his family were wonderful and made are stay most enjoyable. Almare is beautiful, clean and very well located. Breakfast was provided and plentiful. The pool and pool lounge area is fantastic. We stayed in the blue room which was perfect with the extra space. We highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.
My husband and I are driving through Calabria to visit places my family came from and visit the beautiful ancient sites of Calabria. As my great grandfather was born in Savelli, Crotone we wanted to visit. B&B Alamare was perfecto. The owners and their son make certain that your stay is perfect. The rooms are gorgeous. The pool and gardens are beautiful. We were able to take our breakfast on looking at the Ionian Sea from our room. You want dinner? They will call and get you into the best LOCAL restaurants. They also are very knowledgeable about the history of the area to lead you if you need assistance. This is the perfect place to stay. Great central location, beautiful property, and the owners really want to make your visit amazing. When I return to the area, I will book here. It is amazing to stay in a place where they truly want you to have to bear experiences of your stay. The owners son is so knowledgeable in local history BUT also other Calabrian history. He helped us find places to visit in Tropea/Piizzo hours away! Do NOT hesitate to chose to stay here!

The owner, Carmela, was very accommodating and made our booking very easy. Upon arrival, Raimondo was very friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel very much at home. Lucia took care of us with breakfast and great conversation.
We were in the Turquoise room on the top floor, with a huge balcony and a great view of the sea… spectacular. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. And the area was very quiet. The pool area was also very, very nice.
We were within walking distance to town and Raimondo made some great restaurant suggestions.
