Our stay at Palazzo Mascambruno was a brief 1 night stop on our way to Crucoli Village 25 miles away in the mountains.

Take a step back in time and a wonderful stride forward in hospitality and comfort. Our hosts, Rossella and Philip, are genuine 'Hospitalianos! ' Friendly, knowledgeable and uber-helpful.

We are guests of this structure for years now, even if for short periods and we felt at home right from the start. Rooms are clean, comfortable and welcoming and what of the owners?

The property is in an excellent position for going to the sea, just cross the road and you are already on the beach. It's run by a very smart couple and all the staff are extremely friendly.

Great and quiet place under olive trees. There are numerous trees with all kinds of citrus fruits on the site. We were greeted with freshly picked oranges and a bouquet of oregano.

Comfortable, quiet, convenient and spacious room, good location in the historic center of Cariati. In particular, the owner was very kind and showed great availability and courtesy.

We stumbled upon this B&B by pure chance. My girlfriend and I hadn't booked anything for the holiday so we found ourselves doing a desperate last second search.

It was really a local with great Calabrian cuisine.
